About This Game

Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion Lost Stories is a tower defense RPG co-developed by DMMGAMES and f4samurai. The game is adapted from the popular anime series "Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion". The game is supported on both browser and mobile platforms.

In Code Geass Lelouch of the Rebellion: Lost Stories, players will play as an original protagonist created exclusively for this game and immerse themselves in a Code Geass spin-off story that has never been told before. Players can choose to be either a girl or a boy to experience the story. Other important figures in the Code Geass universe are included in this game for the player to interact with, for instance, C.C., Kallen Stadtfeld, and their mechas – will all play a big role in the game.

When it comes to the game mechanics, Code Geass Lelouch of the Rebellion: Lost Stories adopts an innovative 3D tower-defense battle system. Players need to strategically deploy different units of Knightmare Frame on the map to deal with the swarming enemies. Each Knightmare Frame has its own battle abilities and special skill. Therefore, it relies on the player's tactics and game sense to set up the optimal game plan for each battle.

Outside of the exciting battles, players can enjoy an intriguing adventure mode where an original story is to be told. All the characters that appear in the dialogue are portrayed in delicate Live2D animation. In certain cutscenes, they will even be illustrated in impressive 3D animation to express their charm. Therefore, for every fan of the Code Geass series and of mobile games in general, this game is a must-try.

Even though I'm not a fan of the popular tower defense gacha that we know, the gameplay is looking cool. I'm not very far into it, though (will update). For now, I like that KMFs are separate from pilots and expect this to make team composition more interesting. I am unsure about inserting a character (us, the player) into the story. But I like that story is separated from story missions . I did get a good roll on my second attempt and I'm going to give it a chance over the popular title that just came out. Unfortunately, however, it doesn't look like they're trying to impress the global audience too much, what with the sloppy integration of the translated texts (they get cut in places), the unhappy decision to exclude certain markets (I would have spent a dime too, but the "item isn't available in my country"), and to go far and beyond with trying to prevent re-rolling (no guest account and even checking that you're not salting your email; you can delete your account, but there's a 7-day cool down during which you can change your mind; long unskippable tutorial before the re-roll 10x summon). On top of a difficult reroll, the initial x10 summon is also not weighted, meaning you can get just your guaranteed 4* but you can also get more. I know some people appreciate this, but I'm not one of them. Then, I'd say on average you get enough currency to go to pity in one of the first 2-3 banners as f2p, but not in this game. I haven't spent anything since the beginning, now we're 3 banners in and I'm half way to "first" pity (there's 2 levels; with 100 pulls you can get the on-banner 3* and with 200 the 4*).

its a tower defense game. i dunno if those type of games even survive long enough to make it to their 1st anniversary. the WHOLE, tutorial is about, 15mins? (skipping anytime when present) and its forced tutorial. the most and stupid part of this game, is setting up your party. they make you LITERALLY, chose 5 units, and do the same thing, 5 TIMES! when in reality, your just gonna AUTO PARTY SETUP. you only got ONE, gacha roll for a possible 4 star. other than that, good luck trying to re-roll a long stupid forced tutorial. i honestly dont see this game lasting long, at all. With FF7 EC being out. this games already good as dead. because fact, if this wasnt Code Geass. i doubt anyone, will bother to play this game.
