Meow Meow Star Acres is an island simulation game that can be played by simply swiping the screen. The gameplay is simple and intuitive so children and adults can both enjoy it.
Explore Star Acres and help the cats cultivate the fields and raise farm animals. You can use your crops to make butter, bake a cake, and learn all kinds of other recipes. The game has been changed to be pay to play. Gold coins have been removed, and only rubies are now available, which are this game's paid currency. If you live outside of Japan, you can't buy rubies. So, it takes forever to progress now. Almost all cats only give you one ruby when you give them what they request. And, you get to a point in the game very quickly where things cost hundreds of rubies just so you can progress. Killing a lot of the fun and the joy, that this game used to have. And, in my opinion, the 3D sequel to this game is just not as fun as this game used to be. I have been playing this game off and on since it first came out. And, unfortunately I can't really recommend this game anymore, unless you live in Japan and can buy the rubies, or you have an extreme amount of patience and free time. Because, you'll need it to get anywhere in this game now.

Can't believe they discontinued BOTH games!! Absolutely gutted .... Star Island was the best!!! Should've been left open for players but just stopped purchases. RIP 🪦 😭

I love this game and used to play it back in 2014/2015 before they discontinued the English version. I was so happy to be able to play again but since yesterday the app won't load at all.
