About This Game

[This game is no longer in operation.]
You are a dog's kidney.
Your dog is in kidney failure and doesn't have much time left to live.
By assisting with kidney function, you can extend your dog's life a little longer and postpone the end of your dog's and old man's lives.

---You as a Kidney---
You recognize the blood as four colored blocks.
The blocks can be broken with a few taps and have the effect of "getting rid of toxins" and "gaining kidney experience".
Blocks are combined with other blocks of the same color, so the more blocks you put together, the more efficient you are.
The amount of toxins in the blocks, the amount of kidney experience and the difficulty of breaking blocks increases as time progresses in reality.

---Blood pressure---
Blood pressure is the force needed to break a block. The higher your blood pressure, the fewer times you can break a block.
You can use the "Kidney Experience" gained by breaking the block to increase your blood pressure.

---Blood pressure boost---
You can boost your blood pressure by breaking the green block to see the ad.
While boosting, you can break the block by just tracing it.

---The dog times---
Sometimes you can read clippings from your grandfather's newspaper, "the dog times", instead of seeing ads.

---Dog and old man's life---
The life of a dog and a old man who wakes up at 5am and sleeps at 10pm is tied to the clock on the device.
Watch their lives at any time of day.

Like the description says, you're a kidney inside a dog's body, the dog is dying, that's it. You accompany the dog and his grandpa/owner's daily life. You break blocks to extend that dog's life, but in the end he'll end up passing away. There's a gauge that shows how much time the dog has to live, after breaking the blocks, the gauge is filled a bit (but over times it'll empty, so you have to enter the game more than once a day) I recommend to watch the ads to get a higher blood pressure, it's actually worth it in this case. It's actually a nice game. There are some details that make everything better: For example, when you enter at night, you can see the dog's dream (and it's not always the same dream). In the morning you can see the grandpa and the dog eating. Sometimes the grandpa will try to encourage the dog to eat (which he doesn't much), resulting in him having to throw out the food from the dog's bowl (so you can imagine that the grandpa prob knew his dog wasn't well). In the afternoon it's not always the same activity/event happening (prob bc it depends on the time), so sometimes you'll see the grandpa planting trees, or mowing/cutting some weed or smth similar with a tracktor, etc. The creator properly added sound effects, so when the dog is wagging his tail you can hear the sound of the tail hitting the floor/other things. The same happens when the grandpa eats (you can hear the crunching and the plates or cups). Also, there is a song that plays some seconds to minutes after you enter the game. It's a nice song, and if I'm not mistaken it's not always the same song every hour/time you enter, but it is the same singer/voice. Unfortunately I'm not sure who sang it, or where to find it, but it does add an extra layer of entertainment when playing the game. I only got to day 5 (forgot to check halfway), so I'm not sure if there's anything different that happens when you get to day 7. But, after not checking for a long time, the dog dies. There is a cutscene of the dog on the floor, with the grandpa near him, and you'll slowly see that he stops breathing, then it cuts to the grandpa in front of a grave with some flowers. It's not a game for people who are looking for action, or a heavy based plot. It's more of a "relaxing" game (even if the concept isn't really relaxing). You're just watching the life of a grandpa and his dog: you're not there to interfere, you're just an observer.

i just finished the game. i wanna cry. i know i missed some parts of the story, not seeing all the little actions or clips of the dog and the old man, but either way i managed to see the ending. if you wanna see how the story ends, there are some videos on youtube. theres a video of someone who set their calendar to 2030 and the dog woke up again. if youre worried about killing the dog, dont be too anxious. if he dies, the game sends your progress back one day. this was so beautifully made and told such a good story without even using words. SPOILERS HERE: at first i was so worried the dog would still die in the end, but then i saw the ad of some sorta cure that would be out in 2030. i was hopeful, but i didnt think it would work since its so far away. was really made me stressed was when the old man started building a machine around 10 am and didnt stop for hours. when i checked on the dog around 1pm the next day, the dog hadnt moved, and the old man was still building. i opened the app tonight and the old man had finished the machine and was now petting the dog. the dog got placed into the machine, though i dont know what the machine did. i then went and watched a video on youtube about the game, and the dog woke up again, but the old man was nowhere to be found, instead there was just a robot. i wanna know what the whole story was, i want more detailed context, so im going to keep looking online for it. i really recommend playing the game!!!
