Echocalypse: The Scarlet Covenant is a post-apocalyptic sci-fi mobile strategy RPG. As an Awakener, you'll lead the last hope of humanity, Kemono Girl Cases, onto adventures. Collect Mana from different factions, accumulate strength, liberate your little sister from her seal, uncover the truth of the world, and restore its order! Fight in the post-apocalyptic world with your kemono girl companions!

I left a review a couple days ago saying the gameplay sucked, but after giving it more of a chance, I decided to delete that review and write a new one First of all, the characters are absolutely gorgeous and incredibly charming. And the story, while nothing too groundbreaking, is still really fun and entertaining. The whole aesthetic of this game is just really lovely. Also, why I deleted the first review saying the gameplay was boring.. this game kinda helped me realize the appeal of idle games. They're not supposed to be full-on games that require your full attention to play. It's just simple, casual fun where the satisfaction comes from building up your units and then watching em go to town. In that aspect, this game is actually really fun and enjoyable. It's perfect for when I'm in the mood for something that doesn't take up too much energy or require too much attention. I've been having a lot of fun with this game! The gacha is also pretty dang generous! Very generous with a 3% SSR rate and low pity. The ONLY downside is that.. holy crap, the rate is atrocious LOL.. so many SSRs and only two of them were rate up.. the problem with this is that the rate up units are limited units that aren't gonna show up again til their banner reruns, so it makes it unnecessarily difficult to get them, much less the amount of dupes they require to be fully maxed out.. Ah right, thats's another thing. It's a system that requires dupes. But so far, it doesn't seem like dupes are super mandatory unless you plan on being competitive. And the game is really generous with currency, so if you just save up and spend wisely, you'll get enough :) Overall very good game!! I'm enjoying it a lot so far. Glad I decided to give it more of a chance

Probably most important part is how surprisingly easy it is to get ssr characters. But if they are not to your liking, you can progress the main story pretty easily with the characters that are given to you for free(a bunch of sr characters and some ssr). I'm still using the ones you get at the start of the game and didn't have any problems lol. The mc isn't useless in actual gameplay suprisingly, but a little something I regret is choosing the male mc lol. I wanted to feel like I'm also a part of the game, surrounded by beautiful girls like most of us would. Now I kinda regret not choosing the fem mc since seeing the guy is kinda tiring now, but idk if there's a way to change it so I'll just try to keep self inserting ig Other than that everything is really nice :3

[Summary] A gacha game with many gamemodes/features which is oftentimes too much but with lovely characters some with two great personalities on which I'm a huge fan off. Echocalypse has lore but not something I'm excited about. I'd say it's 7.6/10 [Features] - Syndicates (Guilds) - Equipment / Gear - Neolith (Artifacts basically) - Base-building (Room designing) - Spicy Skins 🥵(Limited edition ones too) - Chat rooms (Lovely community 😂) These are fractions of the things you can do. [My complaints] 1. As all gacha games. It's still the player with the biggest pocket wins. You just have to deal with that. 2. Influx of "crystals" to summon babes are in abundance at start but gradually getting rarer to get. And there're not many ways to get them besides some dailies and farming points in events to buy summoning tickets. 3. Banner rotation....Too many at once and the duration is too short. Combined with my previous issue, you know where that will go. Basically forcing you to spend and keep up. 4. Not really a complaint but a dislike because there're so many gamemodes to grind daily to gain necessary materials to grow in power it's overwhelming. Add more skip button please 🥺.
