Day 1 player here. Here's my review as of v1.0
Pros:
If you don't mind the grind, this game is for you. You can obtain and max out all the characters by grinding. There is no stamina system. Very f2p friendly. The only stuff you gacha are cosmetics, which add nothing to your stats. The battle pass rn kinda sucks in value. I've seen people only buy it to support the game. The story is fantastic so far. I came here not expecting anything but the story is well executed, with high quality voice overs. Definitely worth trying if just for the story. Gender ratio is not too great BUT their male characters have huge roles in the story, you see them a lot.
My complaints:
- A lot of 3D models look botched compared to their 2D illustration (Randy, Rebecca, Berenica..)
- I've gotten used to it over time, but movement feels clunky. Overall the game can feel underdeveloped, like they rushed to release it.
- Despite it being their only monetization, there are too few outfits upon release. If you like male characters prepare to be disappointed, they literally only have the Santa outfit rn lol
For fellow male enjoyers:
- Check the tier lists so you know what you're getting into. Spoiler: it's not easy for us
- Randy. He sounds insufferable (pos) and is very charming but his 3D model looks nothing like his 2D art. Botched af. Be prepared to grind 6 copies of him because his kit is trash. Even if you did, he only barely becomes useful. Hope he gets a rework.
- Outsider. With effort you can make him work. I got depressed playing him after trying Lisbell.
- Yale and Oliver. The token shota. Not terrible but not that good either.
