So, about 404 Game Re:Set (3)//Part 3 of 3//
//This is less about the game itself and more about my feelings surrounding EoS in general. As well as a, not so quick thanks.//
In the end, maybe it's for the best that I lose these 'memories' and move on to something else. The game is a hefty 5.9GB on my phone despite everything mostly being gone (maybe I did something wrong).
I've been wanting to get back to Limbus Company for a while and Blue Archive. Put them on hold to keep playing this.
In a way, I guess I feel like I failed somehow. Not to plug or anything but I do have YouTube channel where I "archive" songs from Guns Girl Z/Houkai Gakuen (That one game that Mihoyo fans can't tell how Mihoyo/Hoyoverse feels about it). Songs that Mihoyo hasn't put out onto albums yet or given ways to access outside of the game itself. I started it when they announced that the Global Server for that game was closing. It is, of course closed now. But the JP and CN servers still exist. So I use them to get what I can. Even so, I still used the Global server at the time to screen record what I could. Managed to finish before the servers closed. Just in the nick of time. And even so, I'm still doing it today. Recording and uploading the songs on YouTube today. Because Mihoyo still hasn't done anything apparently… It only took one comment of someone requesting it, not even directed at me for me to give it a shot. And somehow, I'm still going. It's still going. GGZ is still going.
Someone has already gotten pretty much all of the songs from the game uploaded onto YouTube (Thank you Pcah!!!). And there's uploads of other things from the game and stuff for the game are still available on the SEGA JP YouTube channel… Not to mention those who have uploaded other stuff about the game.
But, even so… I couldn't really help to archive it. Not past screenshots anyways (and few recorded boss fights…). I know it's not on me to do anything. I'm not owed anything and technically neither are they. Only the people who need the refunds are owed just that.
But I can still say thanks for a fun time (and the gut-punch) 404 Game Re:Set.
