It's a very interesting game, with wonderful graphics and an incredible story. However, it is not a game for anyone. The biggest problem, in my view, is that the game doesn't make it very clear what its purpose is. The second biggest problem is how much you need to spend to conquer all the pieces of the game and finally zero. Everything involves diamond, and there are rare events where you can complete a suit without spending diamonds. And diamonds are very expensive, and the amount of diamonds to have all suits at events is absurd, making it impossible complete suits without spending at least a few tens of dollars. Other than that, all events come back and save your data, so you don't have to pick up repeated clothes. However, the 5 free daily times that you can play in the events are no longer free the next times for a few more dollars in diamonds ... if you want to clear the game without paying anything, it will take at least a good 5 years ...
I love and hate this game, but the love outweighs my frustration so I give it 5/5. The aesthetic is adorable and charming, a welcome change from all of the Elsa look-a-like/realistic human-modeled fashion games out there. Anime style >>> realistic. Just sayin'.
The first few chapters are easy enough to understand, story-wise. But the further you get into it, the more confusing it gets. The frequent typos and mistranslations don't help, in that regard. Although, I enjoy the funny lines that come from this 😂
I turned off the sound at some point because the sparkle.mp4™️ sound was overused and annoying at some points. Same for this particular piano piece I can hum from memory...
Compared to the other servers, we do get fed crumbs. However, we've gotten darker skintones and diverse hairstyles and it's really awesome! I might be switching to Shining Nikki as soon as the English release drops, but I would still recommend this to whoever hasn't experienced it and is interested, as well. 💞
As a f2p, I recommend every f2p to save up at least 5 to 10k gems for AN event with a SINGLE suit because luck won't be on your side in this game unless you're the mother of luck yourself. As for multi suit event...you can choose to go down p2p route if you can't resist OR doesn't spend on any event and wait till such multi suit events which you can't really resist spending gems and please don't carelessly spend your gems on regular dresses in shop and crafting recipes because I was tempted by it and I regretted it before and the material for crafting will be available soon if you unlock the plot more further. It is a f2p game if you have a patience of buddha himself. Every gacha game is a f2p if you have a patience of a buddha and mind of steel.
I have had this game since the first week of its release and I still love it~ At V15 with a 75% wardrobe, I'm more than satisfied with the incredible graphics and the simplistic yet engaging gameplay! The only downside to this game, is that since the beginning, they've released inportant parts of the story lore and events that line up with the lore completely out of order.
In time, I stopped trying to pay attention to the story aspect of the game because of the scattered way it was presented. I also haven't heard the voice actors in a long time because of this, though, generally they did an okay job. The overall background music and selecting sounds are actually rather calming and I'll keep them on every now and then to just relax.
When it comes the the game's expenses, it is technically f2p, but you really cannot enjoy some aspects of it without paying, so there are some very annoying restrictions for free to low level VIP players.
Many people complain about the prices of the suits, but what you are paying for when you buy, is not just digital clothing, but pure art. There are plenty of gorgeous free suits and low priced suits for the monthly card. And, take it from a whale, being a whale on this game is sometimes greatly disappointing. out of the few very expensive to $100 suits we do have, only a few of them have items that can be styled diversly or that have more than 8 items. Even the V15 prize suit has merely 8 items. So honestly, instead of focusing on the biggest and the best, you'll find your most enjoyable game experience by focusing on the suits you want most that have the most diverse looks for lots of fun in-game styling.

A gorgeous dress up game with a whole lot more depth than expected at first glance. When I first started to play this game I wasn't expecting the art quality of the clothing. The only problem I have with this game is how costly everything is these days. Events with 2 fleshed out suits use to cost about 3000 diamonds and nowadays that seems to be the cost of one. While the art quality of clothing has only gone up, I feel like the creativity in suit design has gone downhill. There's still some clipping and glitches that need working on but overall it's a pretty great game.
( *´︶`*)
love this game! i play both love nikki and mr love from elex, i have to admit, its an expensive hobby but if you are going to spend $ on games, these two from elex are pretty fun. The graphics and tasks are entertaining, they always have events and offers for special items. im V10 on Nikki and im still treated the same as a noob would be during events and gachas. Its fair, but kinda stinks for me considering, how much $ ive spent to get there. Thats my only complaint on playing the game.
Best dress up game you can play. Potentially a great way to waste money, if you're into that. You can definitely stay a V0 but the suits get less and less elaborate for free players and more expensive for people who do pay to play for suits with more details. The drop rate on princess levels can be ridicilous so finishing heck suits can be a daunting task.
I've played this game for a long time (a couple of years), and I'd happily recommend this to anyone who loves dressing up games. HOWEVER, I feel it important to mention that this game also has its downsides.
• Graphics
Graphics are definitely one of Love Nikki's up sides - there's great attention to detail on the clothes, as well as background items and background wallpapers. Although, I'd say suits from Hell Events (there's a reason why they're called HELL EVENTS - will get to it) are way more detailed than the rest.
• Gameplay
The gameplay is pretty much what you'd expect - you have chapters / stages you have to complete to progress, and you get rewards for completing said stages. There's a tournament where you can compete with other players based on different styling themes, and you've also got the Starry Corridor where you showcase your suits and items. If you're a fan of gacha, then you're in LUCK since there's a gacha pavillion! You've got a couple more extra things you can do, which I personally think sets Love Nikki apart from other dress-up games.
• Storyline
If you're someone who just wants to play the game purely for aesthetics, then go for it (this was how I started too), but I'd recommend taking the time to read through the storyline since it actually gets more interesting in later stages.
• Log-ins
Ok, this is one where Love Nikki has a major downside - you only have 2 options for log-ins, and that's either through fb or email (technically there's also the guest log-in option but I've never tried that option before). The game encourages you to bind your progress with your fb account, but I've recently come across a problem where that account was locked. Thankfully, I also binded via email so my progress wasn’t lost. I'd recommend binding with your fb account AND your email so your progress won't disappear
• Time
If you've seen ads / videos of the really extravagant suits and you want to start playing the game, then bear in mind that getting those suits WILL TAKE A LOT OF TIME . Some suits require you to farm certain items to craft (which might take you months to farm). In most cases, the suits shown on these ads are from Hell Events. For context, these are events where you have to spend an incredible amount of in-game currency to obtain the suits. This isn’t exactly advantageous for f2p players, but it's doable if you save up your diamonds and spend them on suits you REALLY REALLY like. So, my advise is to do your dailies, get the diamonds, save them, and SKIP SMALL EVENTS unless you really like the suit.
• Storage
Currently, the game takes up 5.11 GB of my storage, so if you've got a small phone storage, then this might not be a good game to download
Overall, it's a good game that just takes a lot of time to build up your collection. This is also NOT F2P FRIENDLY, but I've seen V0 (f2p) players reach level 99 and have amazing suits, so it's just a matter of sticking to it. As an extra tip, I'd watch tutorials for beginners as well as suit breakdown costs to manage your diamond spending
