———TL;DR Review———
1. Great graphics, wide range of selectable BGM (freedom of choices is always appreciated 👍);
2. No ground-breaking gameplay if you have played a game from PS Vita era, this is not something new;
3. there are holes in the plot, like average games overall, it's not all bad, just somewhere here and there not making sense personally;
4. ULTRA level of time consumption, if you have a life, DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME; the amount of time needed to MIN-MAX at the highest level can go up to 3-4 hrs; rewards to time consumption ratio is about 1:5...definitely one of the highest one for all the gacha games I have played, especially for a primarily IDLE game...
YAY//NAY: Nay...!
———Detailed Review———
Graphics:
Wonderful graphics overall. You can complain they completely wasted their potential by covering up the NIKKEs' assets...but I am not that much into their assets when I am playing a gacha game, in the end, these mean NOTHING...
The 2D designs, 3D modelings, 2.5D live animations, the chibi versions: all of them are above average, relatively, better than most average gacha games on the market. So well done in the graphics.
If you take a closer at each NIKKE, at the very least, not that many NIKKEs are completely identical! That is better than most of the bad animes with interchangable character designs XD

Audio:
I wouldn't say all of their BGMs are in top tier quality, however, you can select your own BGMs. That is something most gacha games lack of. Apart from that, you get to collect them all via treasure huntings. It's fun, interactive and it opens up a system of choices and rewards. It's something enjoyable, it's nice.
Cool sound effects too, though I do expect more lines from the VOs overall.
———
Gameplay:
Are you not ENTERTAINED with the booties jiggling technology? Are you not SATISFIED by the boobs wriggling mechanics? ......
Personally, those are OLD features from SRW franchise...so I am not impressed by the old tricks. The shooter gameplay looks kind of new to average players, to me, as I have repeatedly mentioned: the WHOLE GAMEPLAY is nearly a replicate of a dead gacha game back from PS Vita era. Not even the idle elements look new. The basic combat gameplay is simplified to only COVER & STRIKE. In that PS Vita game I mentioned, it had manual control of where I want my character to go. Or if you want to compare this with a AAA failure — The Bureau: XCOM Declassified, even that massive disaappointment allows players to move to different vintage points as your character slowly advances and gains strategic advantages from FLANKING. What kind of LAME AI design would be created just so your ROBOTs//NIKKEs stay in the same location, and NOT FLANK THE ENEMIES AT ALL? AIs are specifically designed to be better than average human. If I am the Commander who can make a superior order, yet, DON'T ACTIVELY correct the bad strategies applied by your sub-coordinates...I am a BAD COMMANDER...
See? Our main boy is a bad boy and that makes me a sad boy...Hence, gameplay wise, its simplicity literally kills the strategic play. Imagine you can move NIKKEs to FLANK your enemies, gaining a strategic advantage and dish out more dmg.
The design of ONE-HAND control seems to offer most of our gentlemen a FREE HAND to do whatever they want. But with less control and less vision, that also means more restrictions on gameplay...based on the videos on YouTube etc., PC players HAVE MASSIVE ADVANTAGEs over mobile players as they have a COMPLETE WIDE VISION on the battlefield...which means SUPERIOR TARGETING PRIORITY. And that is something vital in the late game. By removing that option for mobile players, it is clear, because of the restriction, that has already caused me PROGRESS DELAYs. For a game heavily relying on Ranking for rewards, THAT KILLS our motive to continue as a F2Per. Again, when your entire F2P population is against your game, like what we are seeing within weeks after the launch, THAT'S GONNA LEAVE A MARK...
Despite how much the developer EMPHASIZEs on STRATEGICAL gameplay in their survey, the balancing of the game literally proves them WRONG. Where maxed-out SR and R tier NIKKEs are NO LONGER feasible picks for Campaign in the early game or game modes in The Ark, SSR tier NIKKEs have proven to be THE ONLY VITAL PICKs for any situations. Then, you need to make sure, you have a diversified SSR roster.....no skill needed in nearly 90% of all the stages I have cleared (all up to Chapter 10 of Campaign; 65 Levels of the Tower; 4 zones of the Lost Chapter; Level D of Annihilation......); no STRATEGICAL picks can be applicable (if you can't clear it with a SR and R mixed squad manually, you can always simply AUTO MODE your way out with a full SSR tier squad......); you can't beat a stage with an UNDERPOWERED squad? Your overpowered squad shall totally clear the stage easily then.
So...I guess they did promote this clearly before the release: NIKKE is a titties-&-booties game, DO NOT PLAY this if you are expecting more...and I clearly have not read the Terms & Conditions...
I didn't know: a game without GAMEPLAY can still be fun as a GAME. I truly thought that is called a piece of art, not a game at all.

Plot:
At this point, I think we all have to agree to disagree that the plot for this game is absolutely PERFECT and LOGICAL. There are certain area that are seemingly less optimized and less ideal; sometimes even finding it odd when they are being told in the story. But this is a gacha game, it's not a AAA flop like God of Wok or Borderland 3, or a AAA scripted nudity movie like Bayonetta...
DON'T hold a high expectation on the plot from a game that FOCUSES your POV entirely glued to BUTTs and 80081€5. They didn't think it through...

Value: (PLEASE read the end to get more details)
I will simplify this to this sum-up:
"If you are ONLY min-maxing via completion of Daily & Weekly Missions, you won't be able to min-maxing to a competitive level where you can keep up with the in-game requirments; you won't be able to gain rewards from Rankings that worths HOURs of rewwards."
Basically, if you only LIMITED to playing 60mins on NIKKE per day, you won't be able to complete the 70 missions from the Launch Event...because simply, within 60mins, you can't get a lot advanced in Campaign or the other areas.
The Rewards:Time Consumption ratio is approximately hitting 1:6 at the highest point. On average, 1:5 when you compare to most of the average gacha games on the market. * (more details in the end on the ratio)
If you are a busy person who wants a simple game that gives you boobs and butts, buy an adult game, it saves you more and it will be more rewarding. If you are F2Ping this game for the same things, STOP COMPLAINING.

General Scores without personal opinions:
6/10 —
8 if you really love big butts and boobies...NGL...
General Scores based on my experience and preference:
2/10 —
A game with gameplay that is not fun at all? BAD.
If the only selling points in this game are boobies and butts, why don't you turn it into a hentai anime instead...
A good game requires great graphics and visual designs; a wide range of memorable BGMs that paired perfectly well to the plot or the visuals; impressive VOs; fun and unique gameplay that lasts for some time; a logical yet intriguing story that allows players to immerse themselves into the world; FINALLY, it should be rewarding for the players in every aspects mentioned.
A game that only satisfy our visual and audio needs (or sexual desires in this case)? That just sounds like a sex tape...perhaps, [Goddess of Victory: NIKKE] does sound like a title of a sex tape...instead of Victory, maybe "Sex Appeals" could be a better option.
(All of my reviews are usually made after running a week or longer of testrun thoroughly without using any guides from Internet. No loopholes is abuse for rewards:time consumption ratio. I count ALL AVAILABLE DAILY+WEEKLY+MONTHLY rewards for the rewards part; every 30 minutes of playing as the basic unit for time consumption. So Rewards:Time Consumption ratio shows approximately how much time you need to perfectly min-maxing per day)
(In the case of NIKKE and games at launch, the launch event is also taken into consideration since most launch events are newbie-based to welcome new players. Whereas the actual regular Rewards:Time Consumption ratio for NIKKE is around 1:2, during the launch period, it is at a whooping 1:6; so it's not surprising for the overall negativities from the public)
(Average time needed for min-maxing on AUTO-Mode:
Approximately ~1min-1min20secs per stage;
2mins for Annihilation;
5-10mins for Lost Chapter;
All SKIPs for every SKIPPABLE scene saves around 3-5mins per day depending on Campaign progress and everything;
5-15mins+ for Simulations depending on how many Sectors;
Gifting and Purchasing from Shop takes around 2-3mins;
Leveling up NIKKE and equipment takes 1-2mins;
Regular logins for Outpost rewards takes 2-4mins;
I only managed to complete 70/70 missions from the Launch Event on Day 13, pushing Campaign to beginning of Chapter 10, Tower to Level 65...do the math...not to mention the time where I failed and retried for using squads consist ONLY SR and R for STRATEGIC testruns...)
alright after 3 months they fix the game a bit but still buggy hell games compare able to cyberpunk 2077 disaster buggy release and event also getting better as well, no more stupid gamble bullshit dice game or other bullshit, please fired anyone give those idea from the office. still looking where this game will go " getting better or Worse in the future". also reminder this game extremely not F2p friendly with extremely low resource to get gems for gacha. chapter 13 story or above not give you any gems at all.
F2P. I rate 5 because you only need to play for 5 minutes. TL;DR at the bottom.
To open up this wall of text, I'll start by saying this is not a game for you if you overexert yourself in gacha and gameplay (For reference, see other negative reviews talking about gacha rates/difficulty spikes/content issues).
This is an idle game. You just do dailies and leave. You are rewarded more for taking your time. Everything else is optional and for your own personal enjoyment.
That being said, I know it's difficult when you just started or are aiming for a specific unit, but I think building a team that can shoot down anything it sees is better than gathering too many unusable waifus, because you spend less time doing repetitive necessary missions (e.g. dailies), progress through other content more steadily (e.g. campaign, events, etc.) and finally, you can instantly level your new waifu via Synchro Device thanks to your team.
Still, you do you. As a SKK that returned during CSM collab, I learned (after burning out within the first month) that playing at a snail's pace works for me.
TL;DR NOT REROLL/SPEEDRUN-FRIENDLY. Shit looks crazy at first, but it'll be one of the fastest and most chill gachas you'll play if you invest in a reliable team composition early on.
I've been playing this game for quite a while now, and I must say I quite enjoy playing the game. There might be bad experiences from its launch, but even then I'd still recommend you to try it.
So here are my ups and downs...
UPs:
- Jiggles
- Graphics
- Story
- Sound
- Gameplay
- Events
DOWNs:
- Bugs (it always gets fixed tho, albeit not fast enough)
- Monetization (I highly suggest to just buy event passes for extra resources and monthly pack, if you are looking for really good values)
- Pull rates (on the low side)
- Molds (I always get sweaty here whenever I open them)
Bottomline:
I'm not going to a critic when it comes to censorship. They're sexy enough despite floating laws and other stuff. I just wish that in their regular pass to have costumes glamourous enough to the price they're pushing, make some skill glamour or make their guns colorful. Other than those things, I really suggest to try it.
Well what can you expect us to say, This game gets a lot people at first months and after a few days it come down and down.
1. Too many Bug from the first time this game release, and the Dev like "whatever"
2. The monetizing in this game is Sucks, I don't know why they made the price in this game is NuTs. Also why the skin is need to be paid IRL money, This is game for enjoying and you basically like "You wann nikke look better, then pay your money"
3. 10cent is basically Greedy as Hell, If you expect all of us some kind of idiot who wastes money to playing something for desires. Then this is what you get.
So iam gonna quit the game after The next event, which is Modernia. I will leave rate 1 ⭐ in play store for destroying our expectations. 👎
I left a long review trashing this game when it first launched. its gotten alot better since then. i still feel they need an uncensored version and a censored version just like they did for Destiny's Child. We shall see what the future holds. 6/16/23
The game is starting to grow on me. Starting to enjoy all the new content. I can no longer say this is a bad game. I think the intial launch was terrible but they have solved all the issues and is getting much better. I still think the skin cost is way to high.
8/1/23
The game is simply fantastic now. I love it. My only issue is the costume gatcha and skin cost. If they were cheaper i would participate but dont see the value in it. its really expensive and not rewarding. Other than that this is a beautiful game.

If you love publishers who are here for the money only, welcome to a game published by Tencent. Game is slowly becoming more and more censored. When Shiftup announced the game the concept art was like Destiny child. Now it is more like the censored version of Blue Archive. Tencent and Level Infinite are in it for the money and do not really care what players want.
I had the chance to play the CBT and the girls were less censored than at release. Many people's feedback after the CBT was that the game was getting cenosred and not listening to the main outcry of the player base "Don't censor the game." But here we are. No one takes time to investigate the slow but consistent censorship of this game.
If you are someone who does not like the girls and censorship is fine, that is okay. I am talking to the people who are playing this game for the waifus
Okay, imma be honest, as a lv 53 player, i can say this game is good, but no good enough to deserve no.1 top app in playstore. Here's why :
- Every new games problem, overwhelming bug. This month, I've played three new games ( Memento Mori, Path to Nowhere, and Nikke) and they all have same problem. BUT Nikke is, if i must say, is the most bugged game of those three. This is the problems ive countered in this game so far :
* Notification bug
* Character story bug
* Interface bug
* Character bugs
* Auto aim bug
* Skill bug
- Really, really bad rateup and bad rarity composition. This game has more SSR than SR, while most of SSR are not deserved to be SSR. And rateup, maybe its just because of me having bad luck, but ive pulled 500 times, and still no pilgrims. Even FGO has better rateup than this game lmao.
- Overpriced Paid Package. This one, is classic Tencent move.
While my rating is good, doesn't mean this game is good, its just because the rating system in QooApp ignored microtransaction part.
There are two very dangerous things to kill a game. It is false dvertising and greed.
Because this game has nothing special to talk about other than butts shaking but it is censored so you can only see, coat and hair cover all butts, no butts for you to see as them said on twitter "no censorship" it's a cheap lie to attract players, and what they achieve is the player's trust at the bottom of the well. Along with a bunch of bugs that will follow you day and night, causing even the most patient to give up. I have to say the difficulty in this game is the most ridiculous and stupid thing the development team does well. On the same map, two enemies stand next to each other, but one is destroyed in 20 seconds and the other is 3 days later I still can't win, even though my team level is 80. And that's the difficulty for Chapter 7, these are the beginning chapters, it should have a relative difficulty for players to get used to the game, and on Hard difficulty, they should change the name to "ridiculous" or "quit game". So far I still haven't finished Hard chapter 1 with level 80 squad. Is the game development team making a joke or do they not want anyone to play their game anymore? Or do they think players will spend money to get through the ridiculous difficulty wall they put up. So I'm going to tell those who have the idea to play for free to forget about this game, because I'm stuck on chapter 7 and can't see the way out.
Greed is as bottomless as Doraemon's pocket. In addition to creating difficulty, Tom Cruise had to say " is this game impossible ?" to force players to recharge to upgrade. Then gacha is a combination of deception and greed. Banner Helm (new character) has a drop rate of 2%, which means 100 times gacha will give me 2 Helms right? i gacha 120 times and no Helm. Should I give up on Helm or this game? And the price for each 10 gacha is 3k Gems, 6200k games cost 100 usd, that means each 10 gacha cost 50 usd, Final fantasy 7 remake costs 60 usd, are you kidding me dev team . 10 gacha costs the price of an AAA game. In the end, it takes 200 gachas for you to exchange for Helm if you are unlucky. You know, Azurlane also has to gacha 200 times to get the Ultra Rare, UR is something extremely special, not an SSR, which is okay to have, or it doesn't matter without it. The items in the shop are extremely expensive but the benefit you get from it is very little. Most other games sell Mission pass for 10-15 usd, but this game is 25 usd. And to level up in the mission pass, you must complete a series of Tom Cruise's missions. And after 9 days of phenomenal effort with this game (something a mobile game shouldn't force players to do) I've reached level 7/15, and I'm stuck at a lucky 7, this means if i spend 25 usd on mission pass i can only get half of the reward,and the last reward (one SSR ) is unreachable so why should i spend 25usd on something i can not be achieved.. Finally, Gem, it is divided into 2 types, Charge and Free, really dev? it's 2022 now, no developers do that anymore, do you know why? because players hate it. There are so many good things on this earth, you pick the thing people hate the most and bring it into your game, well done dev, well done.
In short, do good gameplay, no bugs, the game is easier to play so players can breathe, then they can stay with your game or recommend it to their friends. for more new players. Then think about the player's pickpocketing, but they don't scream "greedy - liar" and vote 2 stars for your game. Finally, the free player, delete the game and play another game, here is no butt for you, but there is a very high cash wall.
Too many ptoblems with this game
1. Anti re roll practice
2. No selector ticket
3. level cap meaning if u do not meet the power requirements you will lose 25% stats on all units while battling.
4. Very unbalanced Skill set of SSR units. some SSR sre too op and some SSR dog shit ...worse than SR units.
5. R units are not usuable since you cannot limit break them nor you can Evolve them to SR.
6. No way to farm normal summon tickets, whatever we getting are just launch events.
7. 4% rate is a scam .... its more like 2%
8. Too many bugs some units doing too much dmg ehilst some units are bugged to the point tgat their burst skill only dealing 1 dmg.
9. Simulation is tedious and boring mode, we need QoL changes to it.
10. Requiring dupes to Limit break units... the pool is too big so getting specific ssr unit is gonna take too much time or money.
pros:
nice jiggle physics
good story
