I'm not a Disney fanatic lover, so I can't say anything regarding that aspect, but it's a nice game a bit on the hard side.
There are lots of pretty boys that you get to know as each dorm appears. And between the chapters, there are events inspired by other "minor" Disney tales.
The gacha rate is not the highest out there, but the diamond pass is not that expensive. (So rather than just pulling every time, just wait for your fav characters)
The BGM and little hints here and there to Disney are nice, as well as the fact that the boys are not your usual Bishounen, as the title says they all have a bit of a twisted personality, which is differend and nice.
Last but not least, I like how it's not your usual otome game, cuz as for the setting you're a boy, so no romance and overdoing sugar-coating, but I assure you it's cute and exciting all the same!!!
I wish I could play this game! But I can only play it for a certain amount of time till the game lags, then becomes heavily glitched. Recently during a rythmic mission I couldn't see the rythmic icons because they turned into black squares to the point it is just impossible to play any further and ruins my perfect score. Even when I am not playing a rythmic mission, these black squares would show up when characters interact with me blacking up half my screen. I can only play for 15-20 minutes and it would crash. I dont want to lost my progress but I really cant do much. I want to be fair with my review, honestly. This game is nice and I wouldnt mind spending money on it when and if they would have an English version. But until then...I may have to get a new phone or just tolerate these unforgivable crashes.
the thing I love about this game is it's not otome game, you can hear me screaming Finally in the distance. Also because the MC is genderless despite how people speculate the MC is male, I like that and I prefer when the MC is genderless rather than be in a female. The story is good, the gacha rate is pretty bad for me, but it's easy to earn gems as long as you do the mission, you can earn gems from reading card story etc. the music is nice, the game play is interesting and a bit challenging for me despite how it look easy to the eyes. overall I really love this game.
Everything about this game is so good!! anyways, the storyline is superb and the characters are very interesting , as expected of Toboso-sensei , good work !!
Rhythm games are fine except that there are other levels that I can't tap the notes properly even though I've tapped it hard lmao . Battle part is okay as long as you get to level your cards .... the lesson , flying and alchemy part can be grind with the loop button so I have time doing something while the game is still going (it's a good thing they have it in the game )
EDIT: I hope twst would let me in the game the next time they have an update because I keep on having the notifications about my storage being full even though it's still at 14.48 GB .... please please please I don't wanna sacrifice my other apps anymore and reinstall them again ....
EDIT 2: I FINALLY GOT SOME SSRS AFTER SEVERAL MONTHS OF PLAYING??IM CRYING DFGJVHVBBNB
As an avid otome strider, I have had my own share of course and it is safe to say so far whilst playing this game it is awesome.
For a few months now, I'm still having extreme fun with the game (especially story and voice actor). The updates are steady and with it developed by big companies and legit illustrator and mangaka (Yana Toboso). It's non stop fun for me, the contents are fresh with no whatsoever collaboration...yet..
Gacha aside, depending on each and everyones luck. I won't put in too many words on this department, I mean they still need to make money. And i still see some F2P hitting the luck bar like there's no tomorrow. Also major whales buying those gems nonstop just to get the latest characters.
I personally a grinder type of person and I wouldn't mind grind to get my way, or save my gems for the limited edition only characters. So depend on how everyone wants to play the game, I wouldn't mind not getting the latest but at least tried to get the limited ones.
To sum it up, it's going well as it is still new and backed up by big companies and great talents. Fresh ideas and so far characters from the game itself are very much sufficient for the game itself.
If anyone looking for fun story, fresh characters, easy game play for fighting and rhythm game, or collecting hot boys this is good stuff. I recommend it.
Stuff you need to do in the game is easy to comprehend so you don't need to know Japanese for that - Just Google Translate some stuff and you're good. As for the story (main stories, card stories, etc), there are peeps who translate them on the net (Twitter, Tumblr and even Youtube) so you'll have no problem with that too.
I love the character designs (I'm a fan of Yana Toboso), I also like the premise and even the rhythm and battle aspects of it. Special mention is the loop feature that you can do when the students take their lessons - It's great for busy people like me!
Events are fairly easy as well and event cards are easy to obtain.
Overall, this is a great game to try. If the gameplay turns you off, stay for the story and the characters - They're great, even the event stories are great.
Hmm, okay. So.. (This is only my opinion and sorry if my grammar and vocabulary choice is bad, my mother language not English)
• This game is great. There's battle, rythm and multiple choice story (?) So it's not boring.
• For the gacha.. I don't have much experience, because my first gacha was at Jack birthday this year.
• For the farming thingy, it kinda easy (for me) to farm the item. But the daia is.. difficult
• And.. For me the main problem is the size of the app. (I- I want to hear Jack and Sebek voice, but the size to big for me ಥ‿ಥ)
Maybe for other people it's not a big problem tho
Okay, that's all what I want to say. (っ´ω`c)
I have been playing this game for quite a while, the graphics are absolutely mesmerizing and the fact that the characters do small movements while speaking gives the scene a lot of depth.
The voice acting is amazing and the fact that it is included in the mini games also its a shocker.
The game it self requires a lot of grinding but in the end it is worth it.
I am not a big fan of the type of animation they used inside the minigames but that is my personal opinion since i have seen it in many games.
I can not comment much regarding the story line since the game is in Japanese, and i couldn't understand much. But as far as i grasped it, it was a little bit cliche but in a good way.
overall this game is worth a try
If Twisted Wonderland doesn't work for you on a tablet or phone, you can emulate it onto your computer. There's free emulators such as Nox or Bluestacks (I use Bluestacks because Nox bugs out a lot) that you can use. All you have to do is download any one of those and then download QooApp to your PC (the emulator will do its thing and allow it to download to your computer). You can then open QooApp using the emulator and it'll look exactly like a phonescreen but just on a PC. Search any games (not all will be compatible) and install them. Twisted Wonderland works just fine for me but be aware it may not for you, it is merely a suggestion if you can't make it past any loading screens. The process is very simple and if you need visual assistance there are videos explaning it on Youtube. The games may be a bit slower but it is a free solution to the problem.
Note: Since there are notes in the game that need to be clicked on at the same time, it is a bit hard to play on PC but again if you are desperate to play the game I guess you can overlook this small setback.
