It's an enjoyable game, but if you looked at it closely, this game basically copied and pasted from Princess Connect Re:Dive (UI, ranking up system, arena system and even more similarities) other than for its gameplay. Even Kimura Yuito, the executive director at Cygames, acknowledge this and lowkey retweeted his tweet from a year ago regarding how good Priconne's UI upon this game's release.
All in all, it's an enjoyable game, but regarding the copy pasted thing, it's definitely quite insulting towards the guys who worked on Princess Connect.
is it appeared that you can't even have single thing be the same with something else anymore these days
and no! the game is not even that Identical.
you can see in the combat system. (you guy talking like princess connect is so original even though almost every system in the game have been done over a 100 time already and that is a facts)
while princess connect use 5 units party and semi auto battle system (the units move and use skills on their own in semi real time battle, you only need to press to use the active skills.....or you can just press that "Auto" button)
on the other hand Index got 3 units party and Full turn base battle system (you and enemy team have 5 block on each team, 3 of your unit can move in between these block to gain the bonus on some block that randomly (i guess?) pop up and all of the units can team up to increase to damage and etc. you need to activate the all of the skills on your own...or again you can just press that "Auto" buttom)
A Certain Magical Index: Imaginary Fest is a turn based RPG, mixed with a card game, based on the series A Certain Magical Index.
Units are acquired via Gacha. The positioning of those units on the battlefield is part of the game’s strategy to defeat your enemies, and results in a innovative and fun gameplay. The story is well told, visually, with some slides and even some scenes, directly from the anime!
The list of characters is huge and the 3D versions are really polished and neat!
A great option for the fans of the series, and still good fun for those unfamiliar with it!
All in all a very good game and great value for money. Quite unlike a lot of greedy gacha games out there like fgo and idolmaster cg. Value for money is kinda wrongly worded tho because u never really will have to spend money. You also don't have to grind several hours for materials because it lets you insta finish quests u have already done. This makes farming so very much easier. The character live action animations are also very smooth and not clunky and the sp attack animations are also really really cool. Later levels also encourage you to think about team comp and synergy very well. It's only major flaw is that the story is basically based on the anime so not much originality there. And the enemy hp and level scaling is kinda poorly paced. All in all, a very solid game with an engaging turn based combat system that I highly recommend.

A Certain Magical Index : Imaginary Fest is good best turn based card game.Graphic and visual is very good, sound is so-so, gameplay is good even though i am not like Turn based game so much but this is fine. storyline is good because we can relieved the story from anime (maybe more different if there a event story). the thing i don't like it is just every through the story mode always download the content ( it is little data but annoying ). for the gacha relative good. get at least 2 charater 3 star from the start game. maybe ill wait for global server.
IF: a amazing game.
UI is similar to princone's but the gameplay is different. in princone its automatic while in IF you can control your cards.
Storyline: its basically the anime so if you watched the anime you can skip the story.
Gacha: the rates are decent but its hard to get gekotas (idk the currencys name) but there are login bonuses that give it out for free.
(it isnt a princone copy so stop saying that!)
all in this game is just like pricone, I mean the UI, system, the only difference is battle
if you are a pricone player you will definitely find out if the UI here is exactly the same
and the story, they just use from the anime!? this is not spinoff or smething like that
It's amazing even though I found a similarity in UI in this game which is exactly same in Princess Connect but a different gameplay makes this game special for Toaru fans,I just hate the elements in this game that don't make any sense in the Toaru series .
