A very high production value game, but it feels very unfinished for the following reasons:
-Frequent crashes from character skills, enemy skills, UI options(daily dungeons), and cutscenes. These crashes ruin the overall experience of the game. Especially considering that after the game crashes reopening the app leads to enemies regaining ALL their health while your units do not. Now this wouldn't be a problem except that if you used 100 crystals to continue the stage, and the game crashes now both you and the enemy are at full life and any progress you made towards beating the stage is effectively reset with the player being down premium currency. (personally I have lost upwards of 2000+ crystals from over 100+ crashes while running the game on my 512/12 GB galaxy note 9)
-Gameplay bugs such as the targeting stuck on an enemy that has already been deafeated and enemies repeatedlly healing to full HP after using the 100 crystal ressurection.
It's always freeze when first cutscene play after the downloading clear. I can even play the game and it's always get stuck everytime i tried to open the game again and again. I'm using mido with android 9 btw
*edited: Now I can play the game smoothly. Lemme explain lil' bit about this game, this was an example if someone did really good advertising for a really boring game. It has similiarities from FFBE but with ATB combat I think? artwork it's very good and glowing live 2D animation but combat feels meh... It's kinda boring and no strategies at all. All you have to do is tap tap tap, cast spell tap skill button and boom you win. Also skill can be stacked and you can spam it like a mad. The good thing about this game it's only the BGM, it's very matching to the game and also you wanna hear that more and more. But seriously, Aidis... I wanna know more about potential of this game
An excellent real time action RPG fitted with likeable heroes and a good handful of unique characters to pull for. The graphics, sound, and music are all amazingly crafted and thematically meshed together well. The story grips you with a good amount of both comedic relief and tension to throw you off the same ol' hero must defeat god and save the girl shtick.
The ark system allows any unit nearly to be usable in PVE content. There are some balance issues especially for older characters, but I can forgive that if there is more attention given to them in the future.
The graphics of this game is superb, the developers utilizes the 2.5D environment the best of mobile phones can handle.
The music sounds interesting and good, some of the pieces remind me of Nier.
The gameplay is okay, there is alot of depth to it but I'm still early in the game. Movement manual is locked behind an item you can purchase in the shop, this should've been a feature from the start..
I cant read Japenese, but the story so far is interesting. The main cast, duo of man and beast travel through the lands to seek something, the conflicts of the empire and devilish creatures block their path to which our main characters must overcome as they venture to their journey.
Overall, I'm enjoying this game and I'll continue to play it .
Overall, a quality game I will probably stick around with and see how it develops going forward with regards to events, gem earning, etc. It does the character+items in one pool thing...normally I hate that, but it seems the game has a smaller pool of characters, so it might be that the Relics influence stats and teaching abilities and could be the true difference-maker. IF that's the case (and remains so going forward), I will be able to tolerate this gacha style more than usual. Graphics are well done and animated and the sound is great. Opening cinematic is exciting and cutscenes and combat are done in good sprite art. You can tell the game devs put work in crafting the game. Combat is on an open battlefield though I haven't found a way to control movement - just skill use. This creates some timing in using skills to make sure your foe is in the AOE. There's some bugs like not being able to hit the [Skip] option, but I've not had a crash yet, though others have it seems.
this game is crazy good. the gameplay is action bassed RPG. the customized for the character also very nice and deep.
in this game all Chara is 5 star, means they all rare. chara wasn't everything in this game, in the contrary The Ark is. Ark work like equipment or such where Ark can give active and Passive buff / skill to your character when you equipped/Mastered it.
all chara is more or less like blank canvas, means, they all can learn many passive and active ability that given by the ark, so you can make the character you desired to be what you want, there is no more character dupe in here, because, no matter how under developed or some skill of the certain chara is suck, you can always make them learn useful skill from ark to fix this. but since Ark playing a big part in the game good luck pull them in gacha then.
there is no stamina systems, but each ark you equipped need certain amount of blue or red orb to use, therefor these orb becomes more or less your stamina
I like it even though the game needs more polish. Would have been nice to have some voice acting during the story scenes and battles are a bit bland considering there are no real tactics involved besides waiting for specials and ultimates to gain enough meter to launch them then waiting for them again...rinse and repeat. Storyline is great and even has good humor thrown around to show comeroderie between the main characters. I just hope the antagonists aren't all one-dimensional cliches. I'm looking forward to seeing what else the devs bring to the table on the short-term.
New patch came up before I called quit...
Well, after the optimization, the game runs smoother with no crash so far for me now. Kudo.
Took back my earlier words. It's better now, and it's more fun than their other title, GS which I still playing since Dec 2016.
Unfortunately, it's still a gacha game and will be as grindy as f2p... but as casual player, should not bother much.
Without the crash from some skill animation, I enjoy the battle system, it sorta cross between star ocean+ 2D final fantasy. Thumbs up with the improvement
it's similar to FFBE. the game has a persona, character gacha which is fustrating but at least it gives us the ability to build on certain characters. I got the samurai demon Hunter from the free summon so I'll keep playing and see how it goes. it has potential so I can see collaborations in the future and other nice stuff , I highly recommend keeping your gems for future characters. overall it's a great game if you like Sprite combat with those final fantasy brave exvius cut scenes and story. MC reminds me of rain
Game is amazing. The content whether its an anime collab or not it really has its moments too much to count. Although the rates could be better, the challenge has never been a dull moment. I for one like the thrill of it. I feel like yumeko jabami sometimes every summon feels like a gamble. But regardless of my opinion This game deserves more love!
