Yo don't listen to the older comments that said the game's easy. Sure some of the older songs are, but they definitely step up their beatmaps game with the newer songs! *Dotsuitare Hompo dreamin night expert can kick my ass 9000*

The cast are very colourful, most loveable "idol boys" cast. Seriously, had a hard time pick a faves and this is coming from someone who finds idol anime pretty cringe. They have boys for everyone! The story's alright (Fully voiced btw). Not really here for that, I'm here for the raps!
And some of the songs are straight fire my dudes! If you don't think too much about the lyrics that is. It's anime song, cmon'. Vocaloid have tons of whack lyrics too alright. Ngl, I would blast some of these raps at a party.
Fun rythm game. Enjoy the husbandos. Don't think too hard on it. And hopefully you'll have a great time.
Edit: Forgot to mention, you can play this game with 0 stamina and all the songs are unlock from the get go. You mean to tell me, that I can play a mobage like a normal console rythm game whenever I want for free?? Unless you're planning to play this for 5 hours straight, the one hour gap isn't even a big deal. It cost like 1 of 20 stamina per song, which is super cheap. Plus you get refill if you just play the mini game and they give free stamina gift almost everyday.
I've played Project Diva for hundreds of hours with zero events and gains whatsover. I'm here purely for the musics!

The highly awaited Hypnosis Microphone game has been released and...I'm disappointed.
First, let's tell the things really good about the game, becausr there are nice qualities in the game. It's HypMic, the music is either hit or miss with you and well, if you love it (as I do), it is really good and the gameplay is fun, the green scratch note that disorients your game is a bit of a b**** though, but it is still really fun.
The rate is good, 3%, and the SR having backgrounds and being new art while not being static sprites (cougha3cough) really incentivizes getting the SR of your boy.
The main story being mostly (from what I have seen), is fully voiced and that is always a good thing, as an indicator of a good mobile game is a voiced main story.
But, that is where the positives end for me, because I can look through the positives of this shoddily made mobile game. Because holy crap does this game look absolutely like s***, for a game released in 2020 among its contemporaries.
The UI is so bland and basic, that not even MY MEN could save it, the gacha screen is annoying to do (this problem also persists with Enstars!!) making you go through an annoying animation before you inevitably get another R card, it feels clunky.
HypMic is so colorful and has a charm, yet the UI feels so bland in comparison, and forgive me for being spoiled by other games but there is almost no incentive for playing other than it being a way to play through a fun rhythm game with Hypmic songs in it, while having the L O R E that fans were craving for.
No affinity system, no room system, no character stories, with the addition of its bland and archaic UI that belongs in 2015, makes this experience, as a HypMic fan, as rather disappointing one. But, a mobile game goes under revisions, some games, for example I-Chu (rest in piece) undergoes revamps and updates that overhauls the game, but we have to just wait and see before if it survives until then. (Who am I kidding, it's HypMic of course it will last)
Just go into this game as a playable Hypnosis Microphone discography with you getting the cards or your oshi and nothing else, and then maybe you will not get so disappointed.
I adore HypMic, I really do. But they should have expected that non-Japanese fans would want to play and put in translations, even if it meant pushing the release date back a bit. I hate having to poke around just to see what things do just because I can't read. And doing the storyline is basiclaly just pop in and skip the chapter because I can't read or understand them so what's the point? Other than that I love this game, but they really need to work on making it more accessible for fans outside the country.
Love the gameplay as it's challenging (the green scratch notes are fun)! Also no bonding stuff (yet) which I don't really care for, don't want to waste my time collecting even more resources.
The UI is not perfect, you have to go back to the home screen to access the actual gameplay, I do like the dark colour scheme though!
I wish you could set the character on the home screen separately from your main team leader, I still have an SR as my main because I didn't reroll until I got my fav guy as an SSR. I'm also laughing about how the tab with your cards is labelled as "MY MEN" ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡ °)
The number of gems needed for a 10x pull is 2500 which I find weird, the in game shop doesn't look very tempting so I'm not whaling (yet).
