So, this game's alright. As a beginner, you are given a surplus of materials to start with after clearing and claiming rewards from missions. Like, a LOT of materials. It's really generous! Gameplay is pretty simple, but graphics are nice (when you activate the Burn boost). You tap skills or you can let autoplay do everything for you (unlocked later, after you clear up to a certain point in the plot.) Progression in the plot is pretty fast, not much grinding for me. The tutorial then leads you to the summon library where it'll give you one free draw daily and a Selective Draw. The selective draw is a one time thing only, but it gives you the option to draw for heroes up to 30 times a set. The first draw is the best one, naturally, but you can keep drawing until you hit the max of 30. The things you draw can be human or creature. You can get a lot of both, and it's possible to not get anything higher than a 3 star in some sets. (usually you get a 5 star or at least some 4 stars).[懵懂] The drawing animation is really pretty. Shiny and sparkly, with lots of spinning. The characters (those of higher star rating, usually) have nice design and are a variety of faces and types. You can also get heroes from finishing story stages and getting acheivements. The lore is interesting in my opinion, but occasionally I do skip past it, haha~ the main characters are cute and I find their exchanges fun to read. It doesn't bore me, which is good, and I can see myself playing it on the standby if I'm idle. I think it's pretty low-demanding as a game—so you can play on your own time, whenever you want—so if you want something that's somewhat low-dedication (but is still an interesting game), you can try this. I haven't progressed too too far yet, because the game didn't capture my attention for longer than a few days. I still log in to get the sign in rewards, but it's not quite attention retaining. It's not very exciting to me, unfortunately.

Yuna engine is insanely good, it runs the game so smoothly. Character design and ultimate animation looks very good as well. Really love and enjoy the game. The downside of the game is equipments. Like every other game with equipment. You can spend one month grinding materials to craft equipments and if you're lucky, you may get one or two good equipment. If not, congrats you wasted your an entire month worth of grinding. Like every other gacha games, play the game without the mindset of beating the game and you'll have a great time.

Its pretty f2p but there is going to be a cash wall if you want to be hardcore in this game. Its easy to get good units but its super hard to get good units that can clear end game content. Super grindy and not for people that have low attention span. It takes real commitment to get good in this game and truthfully even more commitment to retain your excitement for this game. Honestly, after the top guild quit in 2019, the game has spiraled into depression. Alot players quit because they grinded too hard and became exhausted and had no motivation to play anymore. The new gear bosses only make the game more grindy and honestly I don't even feel like playing this game anymore if I only have to leave my phone on pet mode and auto all the gear grinding. My guild left as they thought playing E7 was a chore. Honestly, I wished they had more content and not just grind hell with getting the highest speed possible as a meta.

There are a lot of nice characters and a lot of stories. Some things are a little confusing at the beginning, but they will explain it with tutorials. I got very quickly addicted and it's f2p what I like is it doesn't matter what stars your fav character is, since you can farm for promotion and give them max 6 stars anyway. The story is also darker than I thought and there are short clips and pictures to be seen. gacha is also not so hard as other games. Also enjoy the voices of the characters (I use the Korean voices, since it's the original) The pain is just that a lot of options are available slowly when your lvl increases, but overall it's a very nice game. This gameplay is similar to Lord of heroes, Cookie run kingdom, Tohou world. And I really enjoy such gameplays.

This game has absolutely incredible graphics and is very f2p friendly, though it is a bit grindy. Waifus[色色], edgelords[開心], english[委屈], japanese, auto walk without auto is nice too and I love the weaker and older units getting updates and becoming strong/sexier [哇噻].girls are top tier and there are badass looking dudes as well so as far as characters go they're stacked. the rates are very good and its incredibly easy to gather the 50 marks u need to summon so getting what you want isn't stressful [耍帥]. Gear is very important though and farming it/maximizing it all takes time [鬼臉]. really good voices and combat like I've already said, and it is much more complex than what it might appear to be at first. There is a lot of story to go through and that'll give you lots of rewards as well as just a good time since the story is enjoyable and I read it all even though I normally skip mobile games story because they're trash[發火]...but not this one [微笑]

The game is okay. the story is interesting and they keep updating. I love the graphic, the anime character style and the skill animation. The character voice is okay. from all the choise i choose using jp dub. the collaboration character only speak japanese and sometimes the new character only speak english since there's no jp dub yet. i don't quite like the gatcha. i only pull if i had enough bookmark to pull 120 times, because the pity reset when the banner end. the game is sidescrolling game and each character has 3 move (kinda like "basic, skill, ultimate"). easily get bored if you keep using the same character, i usually trade artefact between character when there's a "free unequip" event or item, just to change the pace. pvp is hard, specially if you a f2p player. the game is quite grindy, sometimes it's take some time to get a spesific drop from spesific enemy.

Epic Seven has some of the best art Ive ever seen from gacha games. But it has major problems that hinders players from progressing during endgame. The biggest problem in this game is RNG. Of course RNG in games are normal, but Epic Seven RNG takes things to another level. Evasion, 15% to resist, Crit chance, Counter, Effect proc chance all determine the outcome of a battle. And we havent even gotten to the gacha RNG yet. There are 4 types of hits in this game, those being normal hit, crushing hit, miss, and crit. If your character has less than 100% crit chance you might miss the crit, resulting in significantly less damage. Heroes with evasion have a chance to evade, which allows them to take the least amount of damage possible. Crushing hit deals the most damage, a 30% increase. Why these types of hits are so important is because they can decide whether or not a hero survives a hit and take a turn. If a hero survives the enemy's attack and take a turn, the entire battle can turn to one player's favor. My point is this entire game is a gamble. Resources are scarce. To get a guaranteed moonlight hero(best type of hero) you need to spend $720. not exactly friendly to spenders. Gear grinding is another major problem. You need to spend a lot of time doing hunts to grind for gear. If you dont get lucky you can spend your entire life grinding and not get anything good. There is no "pity" for good gear. What happens after getting good gear? You roll for substats. A perfect piece of gear can be ruined by low rolls caused by RNG, meaning those 2 months of grinding just went to waste. Not to mention powercreep is happening now. Many heroes are getting insane buffs leaving older heroes to be nowhere near as good as buffed heroes. There is nothing in this game that is unaffected by RNG. Do not play this if you are planning play casual. A game that looks beautiful on the exterior, but ugly on the interior. Don't play Epic Seven, look for a different gacha game.

Seen this game picking up a bad reputation by some players, so I thought I'd throw in my two cents on this game, since I see it in a more positive light. Obvious terms out of the way, there is no denying this game visually is beautiful and appealing, with most- if not every character receiving their own unique idle animation to be played in cutscenes and in lobby. Audio-wise, its nothing to write home about. Its not horrible, but not revolutionizing. Now the Gacha, which a lot of people are complaining about as far as I'm reading. . . Long story short: It is gacha. You either roll good, or you roll bad. It's literally just Luck. And Rate-wise, the rates are not unfathomably bad as people make them out to be. Some games carry worse rates but the game is still beloved despite that, so I don't see why this game can't be any different. While I don't actively grind this game anymore, I will say the experience was enjoyable while I was still sucked into it. If you're able to stay committed, I gurantee you this is a solid Korean Gacha that will keep you going for a while. EDIT: Talking out of my ass for half of this, so take this rating with a grain of salt. The amount of time I logged is probably much less than some people, but enough that I have a grasp of early to mid-game content.

This game has one of the most forgiving Gacha system I've known to date. If you don't get a certain character after 120 tries in a specific character rate-up, in the next try (121th) the character is guaranteed. I'm a F2P btw and currency can be hoarded with enough patience and diligence. Grinding is on par with Disgaea series when it comes to mid-game and end-game equipment and it takes time to get there but not a bad game if you decide to focus on having fun. the music is amazing, the stages' environment / backgrounds reminds me to Odin Sphere (which is beautiful and breathtaking), story becomes deeper bit by bit (not to mention side stories), great fanservice for both genders as well if you're into that.

For JP players, don't waste your time on this game. The gacha doesn't stop at character summons. There is gatcha when u get pets (auto system), get gears (rng everywhere). First chapter story was okay, second chapter is forgettable. The developers don't respect your time and money, so why should you respect them. Save your money for fgo instead.
