Edit: Well it has been 3.5 years since the release and now the game has announced EoS it has been a wild ride hands down the best gacha mobile game I had played I will keep this review and I'm going to miss the game the moment it goes down, this is just the words of a day 1 and a will be last day player. ONE LAST HURRAH FOR DRAGALIA LOST! The game we didn't deserve but the one I needed. It has been 2 years already i think is time for me to write something here since the game has change so much is no longer the same Dragalia Lost during the initial release. First of all, i'm a day 1 player so yeah i had been playing this game everyday since 2 years ago and i had been enjoying every day of it but i will not lie this last few weeks i was thinking in giving this game a break and focus in other games but after the big update 2.0 that come with the second anniversary suddenly everything felt so fresh and new again. This game is an action RPG from cygames and nintendo so i was really expecting a quality product since the beginning and they didn't disappoint me, the game visual are amazing the music is phenomenal, probably the weakest point in this game it is the story which is great at their high and really bad on their lows. This game receive some updates last year in the gacha aspect to reduce the original cost of summoning from 150 per summon to 120 per summon, also removing an aspect of the game called wyrmprints from the summoning pool something some games should do to make the pool result so much worthwhile. This game also had receive some huge overhauls in their core mechanics making it a great game for both solo or coop players, things i can't really explain unless you had played the game. One of the biggest parts of this is the fact that if not a 100% of the roster, i would say a 90% of the adventurers roster is viable to play endgame content, specially now with the upgrades from 2.0 where all the elements receive a huge buff to their attack power to balance the game elemental adventurers since before this the dark element was the dominant across all the leader-boards. Another big update that to be honest i was expecting this since the beginning is that with the 2.0 update the gacha aspect of the game receive the spark system (like in GBF) where every summon give you a point if you use free currency or 2 points if you use the paid one, to summon a rateup unit guaranty, but to be honest the game already have great rates from summoning i find this a great safe net if the banner have more units and one escape your grasp. Idk what more to say but to thanks cygames and nintendo for making such a great game with a really nice community from which i had been part of an alliance since a year ago and i can see myself keep playing this game as long as cygames and nintendo support it, thanks for reading and try it you will not be disappointed. PD: at the time of writing this review the anniversary event is ongoing and we will receive 10 free summons every day from today to the 29 of october receiving in total 330 free summons, so it is the best time to start playing.

So game recently announced EoS, but I'm still putting my review to let the world know. This was a great game, a diamond in the rough. Sadly a nintendo ownership was a double edged sword, but you can tell the developers definitely cared for the game. It was a good run, and this is perhaps my best game ever. Never forgetting Dragalia. Pull your magic Cygames, make a Re:dive for Dragalia.

A story that talks about a twin sister that gets kidnapped and taken away which the twin brother tries to take back while also trying to make peace across the kingdom if Alberia. I personally feel that this game is f2p to a certain degree, where you can get almost every unit and dragon in the gane without paying a cent (saying this as a 100% f2p player myself), but of course paying does come with it's own advantages such as more weekly rewards, loot to upgrade weapons faster, and access to a platinum summon banner (guaranteed to get characters of the highest rarity which is 5 stars). The character designs are pretty great, with the majority of the units having their own different variants, the voicelines are nice and match the character as well. There are a lot of events which provide you with the materials you need to upgrade characters/weapons, and also gives you the currency you need to perform summons. Some can give you a multi very quickly, while others would give you enough for 5-6 summons only, but that's still better than the events of many other games. For example, during a raid event where you fight a raid boss for rewards, there will always be a mission which gives you a multi ticket, and that helps with making the game more f2p friendly. The amount of mechanics and playstyles each in the game is just ridiculous. Pretty much every character has their own playstyle, and that doesn't mean that a character is played for offense and another is played for defense. That means that each character has a pattern for which you use the attacks and skills in order to achieve the highest possible damage in the shortest amount of time. And putting playstyle aside, there are the mechanics which sometimes characters come with completely new ones. For example, normally a character should be able to transform into a dragon, some characters have that mechanic changed for something else which changes their entire playstyle, which therefore adds more to the fun of seeing and learning how these mechanics work. And finally, the bosses. Bosses are pretty much the most essential thing since they give you the loot necessary in order for you to upgrade your weapons. They're all unique in their own way, some bosses can be defeated easily and don't have a lot of depth in their attack patterns, while some others might seem impossible to beat at a first glance at the fight. They all have different attack patterns (even different difficulties of the same boss), meaning that there is a whole lot of things you should remember before stepping into one. Overall, Dragalia Lost is a game which I definitely recommend playing, with an interesting story, a ton of characters with their own unique playstyle, and many different bosses.

Dragalia lost is a simple top down rpg with easy to understand controls. graphics: one thing I'll say is the chibi art style may not be for everyone, but I think it gives the game more character. I personally and the visual effect are very pleasing, only problem with them are they drain battery life quick if on the highest setting, but even the lower setting are made to look visual pleasing. sound: music on this game is top notch every song is a bop in this game. i don't think anyone will have problem with sound in general with this game. voice actor are there for the characters and I think for a lot of the characters they got the voices just right. overall even if you don't play this game listen to the soundtrack you won't be disappointed. gameplay: lets start off with the basics its a top down prspective you tap to do basic attacks, hold down in one place for a few seconds and do a strike attack you get 2 character specific special abilities per character you move by moving your finger on the screen. that is just the start of it like any rpg you can get better equipment and item to help you get stronger by playing specific quest and through the gacha speaking of which. gacha:probably one of the best I've experiences especially after the devs removed wurmprints a item to buff characters from it and made them attain though dupes of characters. I have go though the game and basicly got every characters just by playing through the game. also i should state yes some characters from the gacha are really good obviously but the story units and some lower star units are very much viable for quite a wile if you take your time and learn the mechanics. story: im going to keep this short, its fine definitely a fun ride with a bunch of twist and turns. something I should also mention is every character gets there own little story to unlock and read through. onerall for story just read it. overall I've been here since the start of the game and I can tell you from experience that this game has massively improved since the launch of the game. The devs are top notch and listen to the fans when we conplained about wurmprints the fixed it when we said things were a little to tough they made it easier. please I ask you give this game a try, and if you don't then listen to the soundtrack you will not regret it.

It's changed quite a bit since the game has launched, and those changes benefit those who aren't down to put 100$+ into this game, which I definitely don't recommend. Very F2P friendly, a lot of opportunity to gain materials to build up your adventurers, dragons, etc. and a lot of opportunities to save up on Wyrmite for the gates that truly matter. It can be frustrating at times, but what other Gacha game isn't at this point? To say that it's frustrating while simultaneously turning a blind eye to the fact that you know it's frustrating makes you big dumb. But it's fun, overall. No complaints here~

The best and most generous gacha game I've ever played. Fun events every other week with lots to do. Cygames (developer) listens to it's playerbase, gives plenty of free summons and in-game curreny, and has updated the game with several QoL changes since launch. It is, in my eyes, the perfect gacha and I'm so happy to have found it.

As someone who plays more gacha games than he should (About to get stuck in M2 grind forever in gbf), the game has plenty to enjoy as a game more than a gacha Controls? A little stiff, targetting can be a bit of a pain sometimes but you end up getting used to it Grind? If you pace it, it helps the game last you way more than just going hard a few days to then say "this game sucks" (smh all these reviews) Gacha? Rates aren't AS bad as people makes you believe, and you can honestly make do with some 4* characters and wyrmprints (having a 5* something doesn't guarantee you'll do good, the amount of times I have had to carry people with full 5* gear is...more than it should) Story? Nothing new here, but I appreciate the lil Cygames touch in the character/dragon/castle stories Soundtrack? Gr8, not much else to say here Summary, better than the average. Also, quality options are a plus for someone with a potato tablet

I'll miss this game so much... The story is really captivating, the art is so nice...the gacha system is even generous tbh. Unlimited rerolls at the start? Plus so many summons during annivs and other events? Not to mention you can build 3*-4* to become good units... I hope they change their decision regarding the EoL of this game...it's such a waste to end such an amazing game... This was one of the gacha games I didn't mind spending on because of how great it is...
