Although the game has trashy rates in the gacha system, the game isn't as bad as you would of think. The 3d art is pretty meh its not really bad but not really good at the same time, usually when I see 3d characters in other games, they would be very sharp and very detailed, but what do you know, it's a game made in 2015 so obviously the artstyle would be pretty bad. The gameplay itself is plain and simple which gives me vibes of specific gacha games that isn't anime related, but has almost the same gameplay style as this game which was years ago. The storyline is skippable and nothing special, sometimes i would read the story if something interesting sctually happens but that's only at some point in the game. Now lets talk about the gacha (the point of every gacha game), the gacha rates are bad for specific characters whether they're limited or not (events, collabs etc.), i'll give you just a tiny tip on the gacha, always save ur gems for a specific character, or you coukd re-roll which takes like 10 minutes (if you have a good phone) I think everyone knows this, also I would recommend doing the step-ups unless there is a character that you want whether you want the Idavoll heroes or the Scion heroes, and if you ever get those shameful regular 3 star heroes, at least the devs made it easier to upgrade characters potentially at 6 star, the last time i've played this game was probably many months ago and it was kind of moderate to upgrade heroes to a 5 star which was the meta before, but ever since i've started playing the game again, i'd say they were pretty generous with the amount of soulstones you can collect, plus (prove me wrong if you can, i've only started a few days ago) the regular characters (well some) can be awakened which coul probably match up to the new meta characters (if i'm wrong) so that's an extra for the old characters. Overall a decent gane with a lot of stuff going in the menu screen and events that are currently going on (like the 5.5 aniv. event) and the 3d art most likely needs to be more fresh and new to the current gacha or anime games that are as well 3d (this review is long as hell and hopefully it makes sense and doesn't combust your brain).
I don't get why people say catalyst and apocalypse heroes rates are bad and you have to spend 24k+ on it I mean ARE YOU RETARDED. I got Valtus on step 2 and my Elineige and Omnicatalyst Sortishia on step 1 but well of course not on the same day.......but people need to stop saying things like that because they are bringing down vc of literally no reason.
VC is one of the best game i've ever played.
The dev always give free summon everyday for a week every now and then, and they always gives free dias every event( Raid, Rank CB, Coloseum, Arena of valor, scenario quest, Event Quest, Anniversary) and every day( Log in gifts, arena & grand arena, Daily+Weekly Quest).
The summon event for OP heroes ( Apoc, Alter saga, Idavoll, and Lucky) often appears more than once a month so the chance to obtain them increases ( although the chance of getting them are very low about 0.08% and they got 3x or 5x higher for selected heroes). I also love every time they cross over with some anime( Black clover, overlord, etc) and when they add new game feature always makes the game more interesting and hype me up. Long story short, this game always light up my day and i really love it :)
There's not much that is wrong with the game with the expection of the biggest issue that I have. Idk what happened when updating this game recently but the amount of crashing that it does is overwhelming.
Crashing every 2-3 mintues is crazy, I've been playing this game since it first came out. I've been off and on with it due to the issues that it has been having. This has yet to be fixed and I cant even enjoy the game anymore like I used to when the crashing and freezing wasess fequent.
No where and from what I download this game from this has ALWAYS been the biggest annoynce that I had with the game. I would like to enjoy the game again but the crashing is just to much.
VC is better than in the past, especially after the amount of orb acquired from main quest is increased (orbing was hell back then). I got most characters that I wanted, but I see that they had implemented step-up and guaranteed summons to increase the chance even further. The "rate up/chance increase" summon is still a bit annoying and disappointing sometimes though. Nothing is really new about the gameplay, but the developers begin to put more efforts in adding new events, side stories, and characters. For your information, VC has gone through many collaboration events, but there is no rerun from any of them yet. I don't play in other servers, so I don't know if it has a different case there. i really think this game is an underrated gem. most people overlook it cause of the poor gacha rates but they also forgot that we get a shit ton of free diamonds and free summon everytime. there is one big ass problem with this game.. and that is the loading times.
the engine in this game is so poorly optimized. loading times from screen to screen takes forever, watching ads for free summons can never go smoothly due to random bugs and slow loading times which forces u to always reopen the app. i would rate this game so much higher if they just fix the goddamn loading times
i like this game but its so hard to get diamonds unless you pay it's easy in the beginning but when you reach further in the game its becomes a nightmare because you need 3000 diamond to summon but if you complete all daily quest you only get 30 diamond i wish they makes it easier to obtain more diamond
Loading time could be solved if you D/L the whole content. I hv made a bit of in-app purchases; some options are $$$ but their diamond & premuim passes are reasonable. They hv collabs every few months and it is so much fun leveling my favorite character and building my team with their VC ones. Its a gacha; so, reroll until u get ur favorites and start from there. Learn to save diamonds.
