Been stuck with this game since its first release. But, the more I get into it, the more i realize that gacha is the key to everything. And gems, of course. At first, the game was friendly enough to free players and it was so fun. I got to play with my fave characters and I could finish any stage with them. But after a year, being a free player means little chance to finish a stage. Tell you what, the gacha rate is horrible.

As the game progresses, you will be introduced to Ex weapons. The later an Ex weapon is out, the more broken it is. In which these later Ex weapons murder Ex weapons that came out earlier (and also murder the characters).

Rebalance is real, but some are rebalanced lazily (they still suck even after rebalance) some are too crazily (which makes the character so broken like a brand new character).

As a fan of the Dissidia PSP game since young, I've been playing this game since last year and I've had my fair share of enjoyable and frustrating moments! Nice graphics (love the chibi-ish style) and awesome soundtrack (especially if you're a fan of the many FF games).
Gameplay is turn-based, and I love it. You'd need to strategize your attacks (especially for the harder quests), but what I like about this is that you get to enjoy the gameplay in different ways - you can simply enjoy flexing your favourite/strong characters in Co-op with other players, or waste your brain juice planning your strategies and teams for those frustrating Lv 180 quests. My personal favourite kind of quest is the COSMOS Lv 150 kind, since they pose a fair amount of challenge and yet aren't as troublesome as CHAOS Lv 180.
I'm quite fond of the storyline as well, I really love the 'all-star' idea going on. Act 2 onwards has been really interesting for me so far! They regularly have events introducing new/old event characters and I really love farming Gems from them too :P
As for the gacha... The game is very generous with free Gems, you can save A LOT of them as long as you have the patience to accumulate them. After all, you really need patience if you want to guaranteee getting something you want from the banners. That's at least 75k Gems for one EX weapon, and 100k for a BT. I'm advising this based on my own experiences - please don't trust luck, just save and be safe 🙏 You will definitely have lucky gacha pulls every time now and then (10% for 5☆ is honestly really good for a gacha game IMO), but just save those Gems if you don't want to end up getting disappointed. Just whack those Draw Tickets if your hands are itchy.
TLDR: Nice graphics, awesome music and pretty entertaining story and gameplay. Gacha is nice to you as long as you have the patience and self-control to save your Gems.

also. you can change setting to "high performance" mode that enable 60fps but it can't change graphic quality.
Sound - 3/5
I mean. the bgm is good (as always since FF never failed me about soundtrack) but why 3? Some of FF game (FFRK) or even dissidia 012 / NT. They rearrange some original FF soudtrack for their own game (in FFRK there's already release 4 soundtrack album and most of them are arrange ver. of FF soundtrack) but this game.....no. they didn't rearrange that. that's a bit sad for me and I still hope they will do it in the future.
Gameplay - 4/5
I think most of us know FF10 because the gameplay is similar like that in terms of "Turns" with dissidia element (BRV attack-HP attack) somehow it's hard af, somehow it's easy af. the boss one. I think they're almost "out of idea" about the boss mechanics/skin since I found that they just change color to another color and yeah! it's done.
Storyline - probably skip that since no one care about story anymore lmao (mainly because of wall of language)

If you come earlier like around 1 year ago. I will rate this 4/5. I will tell you why 3/5?
First. Is this F2P friendly? probably yeah IF you manage the gems/resource very well. The game gives you a lot of gems (not really that much but it's not hard to manage that) What you really need to do first is do some reserch about the current gacha banner. some people translate about their skill/weapon/boss mechanics/everything on facebook group and reddit. (For me. I think you should make 1 tank with full kit because they're useful in most of high-end challenge. First phase I want you to make 3 full-kit characters that "useful". (If you really hate to find about orb condition in Lufenia stage, just built Eiko(FF9) full kits and bring her on your team...and it's done. You can clear almost every Lufenia stage in this game)
So you gonna think. "Damn. this game is really F2P but why you give only 3/5?" well. the answer is the gacha.
Before I talk about gacha, let me tell you about something.
In this game. you have to roll gacha for weapon for the character. to enhance the skill you have (improve the character). and some type just give you addition of skill. (like in FFRK)
Here's the thing. As I said before. if you come earlier like a year ago. the gacha is more friendly than nowadays. Why? because you can use the character "EVEN" you don't have his/her full-kit (but s/he still useful to help some battle) unlike this day. when you HAVE TO roll for full-kit or your character is useless if one of their kit is missing. and the rate is a bit low but more painful. so that's why I have to give that 3/5

Dissdia final fantasy is a pretty good gasha game for those fans of final fantasy or new to final fantasy in genral. You don't need to play all the final fantasy games to get to know all the charters in the game since this game has its own little story using those charters anyways.
As for gameplay its pretty easy to understand once know what to do even if this the japanse verison should be able get to grips on how the game works and what charters are best for what.
For the gasha side of things i say its pretty f2p friendly tho at times you will get shafted from time to time but thats normal for gasha games like this. Over all i say this a gasha game should give a chace if final fantasy fan or looking to try out a good game.
Played this when it 1st come out. Then I stopped, and recently went back. And the QOL improvement is so much better.
Auto+ makes grinding easier, by a mile.
10x free gacha tix per use, saves a lot of time.
My tips for F2P players is only use gem, on the gacha that you want the BT. Incase you didnt get the BT on pulls, you can use token to exchange for it.
For other stuff, spend like 100~200 free tix then move on. If you get the stuff you want good, if not STOP and move on. No unit stays meta forever, there's always a buffs for other units.

Se você não conhece a franquia, este jogo pode ser uma boa maneira de conhecer alguns dos personagens e ver se a franquia interessa! A história é bem divertida também, e não consome energia, então tem umas boas 10-20 horas de Final Fantasy de graça!!! Sem falar que isso é pra jogar a história uma vez só. Se quiser desafiar os outros modos de dificuldade o jogo rende mais!
E quando acabar a campanha principal, existem eventos (missões em co-op) e missões de recursos, etc. Existe um modo automático, que não é muito inteligente, mas cobre as missões mais tranquilas.
O combate é bem digno de um FF de estratégia, tem ataques diferentes com resultados diferentes (break) pra elaborar um pouco a estratégia então as coisas nunca ficam chatas!
Outra coisa muito legal neste jogo é a possibilidade de inclusão de TANTO material e conteúdo, com mais personagens, eventos para apresentar-los, mais história… O jogo vai render MUITO!
O jogo não tem PVP, o que é ótimo, do meu ponto de vista, porque o jogo não se transforma em pay-to-win nem nada do tipo! Sem falar que isso permite que você jogue com seus personagens favoritos, independente de meta e etc!
Uma das grandes dificuldades deste jogo é escolher apenas 3 personagens pra montar o time! São tantos personagens legais, de tantas versões de FF…! E eles são todos gratuitos, dados pela história ou por eventos! Não precisa de Gacha pros personagens! O Gacha aqui só dá armas e equipamento, mas honestamente dá pra terminar a história principal inteira sem isso!
Recomendo muito o jogo, especialmente pra quem curte FF!
Opera Omnia is fun as long as you can bear the fact you can't win using your favourite characters.
It utilizes a gacha system, meaning only the characters you can pull gear for will be useful to you. Ultimately, some people may see this as a turn-off, and I saw it that way at first.
But, upon further inspection, and giving the JP servers a try, starting another file once I already had a grasp of what was going on felt so much better.
I don't recommend keeping your first file/data, as beginners to this game are prone to simple mistakes that cost you later on down the line.
If you get the chance, get your bearings on what you're doing, and then delete the game and restart your download. This sounds like a bit of a chore given the amount it downloads, but it's well worth it if you want a file free of blemishes such as spending crystals on characters you don't have gear for.
Anyway, if you don't mind a gacha system and like FF? Try this out.

Fill up FR hp dmg bonus 999%, counter to death.
Enemies cannot be killed when their FR is up, and you have to wait 10 turns or just gacha to get new FR.
No lvl 100 awakening.
Multiplayer is no more.
Ultima weapon is whale weapon.
Update so slow, too much unused characters.
Unlimited Grinding Works.
I love this game its fun i also love the Global one to but my luck is no't so good on global i can't get Burst or LDS but i get lucky with the burst and LDS on Dissidia final fantasy opera omnia JP so thats whay i play JP More and i got Terra's Burst and EX in the free multi i was so happy so i did more multi's to try to get Terra's LD but i didn't get it in the other multi's but i did have enough Mog coins so i used the Mog coins to get Terra's LD if you want to add me on JP or Global my id for JP is 539262916 and for Global my id is 859408107 for JP my useing Terra and for Global im useing Rem but you don't have to friend me on JP or Global
I got Global DFFOO which I play for more than 2 years now pretty satisfied with the game but the drop rate is not so high.. Then this Jp version which like 2mos old.. I say the Chance of having Burst and LD is higher which is good.. but the Lufenia Is really hard if you are a starter.. So.. grindy game..
