It's been 5 years since I played this game and this is the 2nd KEMCO game that I have played! I'll start with my complains about the game first. The Harem. I genuinely dislike Harem tropes so that one of the things I dislike within the game-- of course there's the option to get the True ending without the Harem option which makes it a bit fair. And lastly, this has been bothering me 5 years ago and still does today-- what's with the random difference in name? It's not exactly random because base on my experience-- every Izayoi character are OP! Still, Izayoi felt off because it's a different name, and you will understand how odd his name is when you play Dios' sequel, Menace. Onto the objective review! The illustrations of the characters are pleasing to the eye, the animation of the character movements, npcs, battle sprites, and cutscenes are well done and pretty amusing. The world map is pretty simple but includes the necessary details to represent some routes. The battle scenes are detailed enough to make the environment clear to the player despite it's simpleness. KEMCO did well in their game. I haven't heard much music because I tend to play with no music but within the Yggdrasil stage of the game, the bgm was on point in keeping the fantasy feeling but also has an ominous tone to entail the dangers of the stage. That experience alone is enough to tell their efforts in the bgm. The gameplay is rpg-maker-esque and pretty simple. All of the know-hows are taught in the tutorials but it would definitely take time to get around the equipment and enhancement system. The battle system is turn-based, and follows the rules like Preemptive Strikes and the character racing to unleash attacks kind of system. It's pretty simple if you got used to it. The storyline is the classic dark gray and light gray fantasy story. The twist is easy to see it coming but character births and other character relations are very interesting and it can be emotional.

aaaaa nostalgia time! this is actually the first JRPG that i've played, i remember loving it a lot in the past soooo i decided to replay it 5 years later [開心] i..... don't remember that there's a lot of fanservice here and there lol, i was too pure back then. but i think the story is still pretty good! Izayoi is a pretty interesting main character, but i feel he's better in menace than in here af. combat wise... well, it's your usual JRPG, with mechanic similar to FF. music is kinda memoriable??? like, i still be able to recall the music even though it has been a long time since my last time hearing it. overall i think it's a solid 7.5/10, if they focus more on the character developtmen it could be better
