The game is ok. Not superb tier, but not bad either. After I played for several hours (now my game account lvl 21) didn't find any bugs. Gameplay is good, character design is very good. Character development system is ok, especially the part where player can upgrade b-tier character to sss-tier character, but half of the characters roster are those 'upgrades'. Storyline of the game is ok, a bit similar to Cyberpunk 2077 story in the beginning, but after some chapters it will change. Sound is the weak spot of this game. Soundtracks of this game just average and characters lacking some good voicelines. Overall Cyber Rebelion is a good game 7.5/10
Good thing that it’s on beta. Game has a decent base but lacks a lot of fine tuning in some parts, and just core elements in others.
Graphics are odd, as they seem to always be blurry, no matter the option picked, plus there’s a lot of optimization to be done. Some parts nuke fps for no valid reason (units details, units xp training...). Overall average, lacks polishing. Style is similar to dislite but cyberpunk. Also the girl you have in your head looks awful.
Sound is average to absent. Several parts lack sfx, and the overall sfx lack smoothness or transitions between them. It’s a bit hard to describe, but basically, it’s rough too, or clunky.
Gameplay is a bit akward at first, since you can’t manually chose the target to attack, you have to quickly pinpoint it before your units auto attack. Otherwise it’s fine, not amazing but not bad per say. Just a bit clunky again, not smooth etc...
Story is very lacking. You’re pretty much thrown into a world with very few explanations, which means you won’t feel much interest in what’s actually happening. It’s too barebone, way too little depth to it, and the relation between each character makes it very confusing.
You have 7 base characters, 1nd each of them has several ”evolutions”, with a different appearence, but it’s still the same character. wbut the story uses variants of a same character and acts like they’re different, which is pretty confusing.
Also, the evolution system sounds nice since it guarantees to get what you want eventually, but it also makes anything lower than ss rank eventually irrelevant, because of upgrades limitations. And it means the number of characters, and most of all unique characters, is very limited, since it’s always from the same ones. I don’t see the gacha doing very well with this, unless they make the few that can’t be gotten via evolution stronger than the others.
Overall, score is low cuz it’s really rough, lacks tweakings and polishing. It might get better through the beta. I really don’t like the characters evolution system though, feels random for the design changes, limiting for the choices and makes no sense when you can have several versions of a character in the same team.
Yet another qooap quality game, but it’s not the worst. Just wish they went in another direction...
Rates are abysmal. Sound is lacking. Graphics is okay and the story is pretty good. Worst thing is energy to do everything in game and sitting and waiting for it to recharge...I thought those stupid kind of implementations were behind us... guess not.
