I still find it really hard to believe, that the people behind League of Pantheon, a game with no substance, made a game of this caliber, to be fair idk much about the devs behind this game besides the LoP, but anyone who's been around playing more games will see in an instant this game is pretty well made and polished, this is just me finishing the tutorial so idk how monetization goes but seeing at game of this quality in the sea of, bland, generic and even AI prompt games, feels so fresh and good 😊👍
Edit: Past a week and here's what I scoped of the game so far.
The early part of the game gives you a lot of progress, you get lot of free stuff for leveling and upgrades, energy from leveling which catches up to itself, and kid you not, i manage to rack up 300 draws through the rewards of stages, which made me get the 6star of my choice reward, which is a fun blast pace to play through.
But, after the honeymoon phase, after the 1st week, around lvl 50, the game slows down, almost to a full stop, you will be grinding for the awaken/leveling/upgrades after all the free stuffs are gone, which uses the few energy you have in the game, and leveling/upgrading char will easily take you days of energy, which easily puts your game's pace to almost just the daily or a few blitz runs, fortunately games got full skips, game needs a lot of grind and days to get even a single char to max lvl awakened.
Gameplay wise, it's its own thing, Boses is what i find the highlight of this game, when you fight a boss near of your level, more than having a good char, getting the Boss' gimmick matters most, which kinda sucks, there are fights where I have to bench out some of my strongest units cos they wont contribute anything to the boss fight. And when i say gimmick, there's even a boss fight which you can beat for just deploying pure defensive units, and the other one where you just simply need to keep more than 2 buffs per ally till it kills itself, else it heals in an unkillable pace, you really have to read and be perfect to your team deployment where even a single wrong order of deploy will often means losing the fight. And when you do pull out a win with those bosses, its quite fun and satisfying.
All in all its a pretty solid game for me, defenitely will keep playing it and slowly build my team of my own style and composition, which would'nt work for more than half of the bosses mechanics for sure XD
people keep comparing this game to angry bird, but as weird as it sound, this game is more similar to arknight, you don't simply launch your girl and just let it on the field to be forgotten, most stage has different gimmick and mechanic which forces you to change your tactics on how you deploy your girls, and there is also turn limit which make things more challenging.
the game is also generous enough to the point where you can consistently farm gacha ticket daily and there is also gems farming content similar to annihilation mode in arknight which reset weekly, the rates is 2,5℅ which is a lot higher than many recent gacha games who completely copied genshin gacha system with their sh*tty rates.
the overall tone and theme of the game is relaxing and the art is eye catching, the story is also fun and light hearted, if you're a long time kemono friends fans like me, I'm sure you will just ignore my review earlier and just play the game because its tanoshii!
I know nothing about the anime or established title, but the game doesn't feel like I'm getting a washed down version of something.
All in all it's been a good experience so far, game is gorgeous and runs well on my phone. The quality of the assets is high and everyone and the story are fully voiced. I haven't encountered any bug either, even playing since launch, except the occasional missing translation.
I'm not usually a fan of Qooapp's account link model, but it wasn't an issue in this game. It's probably an issue if you want to reroll.
The store has some good deals for low spenders.
I have a few peeves even though the general picture is good.
The story is cute but feels pointless. Though I'm not very far along the adventure so maybe I'll be surprised. But so far it's 2 or 3 chapters of "well let's go ask in this other kingdom if they know who you are" (yeah sorry, spoiler).
I don't like the gacha model. You're encouraged to pull once everyday by daily mission and daily discount, but your're not really saving by doing this because it's depleting your resources for "the big banner", or the banner you actually care to pull. Same for the guaranteed 5 stars on your first 10 pulls on any banner; yeah it's good that it's guaranteed and I'm not saying that you shouldn't do it necessarily, but it does limit your hoarding. All of this looks generous on the surface, but it's really just trying to make you spend more.
I'm liking the game because it seems to reward team composition and make it possible to stray from the meta, but as a casual I'm finding it hard and can barely do the easiest difficulty of the most recent raid. Powering up my characters isn't helping me much either, and is also limited by player level, which depends on energy/time/money spent. Of course I don't expect or want it to be so easy that I can just go through it with no effort.
I don't like that the interface is all over the place. Main page is a mess with quest and rewards buttons spread all over, and you're made to look and click everywhere before you find what you're looking for. Also red dots all the time, some of which will never go away because you're not going to give them your phone number on top of your email. And the season pass page has loud annoying music.
I like the feature that allows players to review characters in game, but nobody actually writes anything useful, and being multi-language most of it is not even English. It needs some moderation to work in this context.
Finally something that isn't your generic cash grab turn based rpg that ive seen every single day, its not one of a kind of course but it still way better than any newly released game that i see everytime.
Based on a week that I've been playing , The game had a charming list of characters , great voice (albeit it does get repetitive like every mobile game ever), and most of all the angry bird x rpg like gameplay, i must say i like it a lot especially when i hit those juicy cerulean core then dealt like million dmg (not really), game is extremely generous aswell since it just give you alot of currency and resources right of the bat , a guaranteed 6 star after you finish ch0-10 which essentially is the tutorial and a bunch of ticket after every 5 stage , sadly qooapp version had a really rough reroll pathing so probably just settle for a decent ish account if you couldn't bother less.
That's probably it i guess, other than the fact that every girl here is a kemonomimi, if you liked the series this game is definitely for you, if not? probably still for you as well, since game do guide you on whats this and what not based on the mainline series with the exception that the old mc get replaced by you the player, welp thats probably the summary of the game i like blabbering about a game that i enjoy and thanks for reading if you even still here, good luck on the gacha~

Friends (character) were designed into specific classes
The classes played a HUGE role during a battle
Its Tank makes team almost invincible for 1 round
And a Debuff is almost always a must have
Same goes to Buff / Dps / Healer
U can have anyone as long as u have all classes in a team
Friends were also designed into combo
If u managed to place the combo Llama+Ibis out
U'll get a bonus buff from their bond combo
Plan your turn of placing a friends become part of the play
For that they also provide many ways to collect characters
So if u planning to get someone specific for the combo
U have a Party systems that has a small chance getting it
An exchange system 100% getting it with dupe currency
Also a 300 pity that can exchange whoever u want
I love this game since it's SEA released in 2022
Ended up the game stop working i was forced to quit
They changed a few thing added some new thing

This games been a little time thief for me. like ive literally forgotten to do my dalies from other games since ive been playing this. the music and animation is what sells it for me, ive found myself just idling to listen to the tunes when ive been playing much like i did in Nikke.
game play is simple, and the 2d live from our kemono friends are cute. ive found myself staring at weasels and chevrotains hands alot while on lobby screen
can definitely say this games gotten me to look into the IP and random animal facts, kinda made me feel like i did when i was kid

I LOVE the fact that before you enter the game, you can setting the Graphics and Quality first! it reaaly helps me alot who played in a quite old piece of hardware!
The game is Fun in general, the gameplay is not so bad, the gacha system is as usual as any other gacha games, the artwork and artstyle is cute too.
So basically, i have nothing to complaint, the game is fun enough to be playable.

I don't know yet, if this is officially licensed Kemono Friends IP or not, because it look like bootleg game lack of Japanese language option, but maybe just my imagination, but the Voice actor really good.
I just hope this game didn't close it's server so quick, because of copyright or a quick cash grab.

Shouldn't the character's refer to me as him

I looove this game so much, gameplay wise, graphics wise... And it's so easy to get tickets for gacha, it's literally so f2p that it feels like a dream. I think the only downside is the translation, cause the story seems cute but sometimes it feels weird cause of the poor translation but honestly, compared to other poor translation I met, it's definitely not one of the worst so it's okay. I'll have to watch the anime next cause I really want to know more about the characters.
Oh also I wish there was a way to get more skins other than buying the "battlepass", I know they give one for Common Dolphin but I think it's the only one
