its a tower defense game. i dunno if those type of games even survive long enough to make it to their 1st anniversary.
the WHOLE, tutorial is about, 15mins? (skipping anytime when present)
and its forced tutorial. the most and stupid part of this game, is setting up your party. they make you LITERALLY, chose 5 units, and do the same thing, 5 TIMES! when in reality, your just gonna AUTO PARTY SETUP.
you only got ONE, gacha roll for a possible 4 star. other than that, good luck trying to re-roll a long stupid forced tutorial.
i honestly dont see this game lasting long, at all. With FF7 EC being out. this games already good as dead. because fact, if this wasnt Code Geass. i doubt anyone, will bother to play this game.
It's an amazing game for people who love not only Code Geass, but also interesting strategic gacha-games. Everything looks pretty and high quality. Plus, with more time it will be more like japanese version, which means a wide variety of activities you can do and more and more characters.
Additionally, we have side stories here. As far as I understand, those are canon extra stories about some characters. Also, here we see that Lost Stories decided to put a new character in the story, so it's interesting to read a "new" story and see more characters.
ALSO, tomorrow is a new game update in japanese version for the anniversary, and they are adding characters from Akito the Exiled!!! I'm so excited.
Even though I'm not a fan of the popular tower defense gacha that we know, the gameplay is looking cool. I'm not very far into it, though (will update). For now, I like that KMFs are separate from pilots and expect this to make team composition more interesting.
I am unsure about inserting a character (us, the player) into the story. But I like that story is separated from story missions .
I did get a good roll on my second attempt and I'm going to give it a chance over the popular title that just came out.
Unfortunately, however, it doesn't look like they're trying to impress the global audience too much, what with the sloppy integration of the translated texts (they get cut in places), the unhappy decision to exclude certain markets (I would have spent a dime too, but the "item isn't available in my country"), and to go far and beyond with trying to prevent re-rolling (no guest account and even checking that you're not salting your email; you can delete your account, but there's a 7-day cool down during which you can change your mind; long unskippable tutorial before the re-roll 10x summon).
On top of a difficult reroll, the initial x10 summon is also not weighted, meaning you can get just your guaranteed 4* but you can also get more. I know some people appreciate this, but I'm not one of them.
Then, I'd say on average you get enough currency to go to pity in one of the first 2-3 banners as f2p, but not in this game. I haven't spent anything since the beginning, now we're 3 banners in and I'm half way to "first" pity (there's 2 levels; with 100 pulls you can get the on-banner 3* and with 200 the 4*).
I think only die hard Code Geass fans can appreciate this game since some unique gimmick only be noticed if you know most of the francise so yeah like FGO.
And good enough too pilots and KMF stat moreless near the reality, like Suzaku and Lancelot really OP while most Lelouch/Zero stat somehow soso (lol)
For storyline it basically same like anime with a bit MC things included while just like Lost Colors, MC can't impact much for actual storyline, but then again as Code Geass die hard fans (lol), it's so enjoyable !
If I need to complaint, I guess it's just why chapter 8 Suzaku won't come home !? I already do 80 pull and only bring me the other Suzaku !
great game. its very f2p friendly and you can collect all the cool code geass character and kmf for free. also it expand the lore by giving more detail in the code geass story thru the main character
