ZZZ is extremely stylish. It has an animation style that may and may not turn it away for some people but personally, I like the exaggerated, goo-ey and bonebreaking animation. The game is very optimized despite my pc hardware being a decade old (Nividia Gtx 1050) whilst still looking great. The game is also just very casual. It usually takes 8 minutes to finish all of my dailies however I can see that it can be a little monotonous. I wish the environment wouldn't be super limiting. The city itself doesnt feel that huge and grand as it presented itself to be, from the few areas you can explore. it lacks an open-world aspect that I honestly feel like it could be fleshed out. The combat is super satisfying however I think it could be improved by adding verticality (Jumping, air-combos and etc).
I appreciate and accept the flaws of the game. I love ZZZ and I am going to last preferably until 3.0+.

edit: actually decided to give this game a proper try and here is my honest opinion as someone who dislikes the weird type of fanservice in games
i play on phone so the graphics aren't really good for me, but the gameplay is *chefs kiss* only hoyoverse game that requires skill in endgame content, i really like the character designs especially miyabi, lighter, von lycoan, seth, though some of the newer upcoming ones i dont really like
also zzz is probably the second least toxic hoyoverse fandom, while yes there are still toxic people being rude for no reason but its less than in other hoyo games(ToT being the most chillest as they are just playing an otome self insert game, chilling liking their 4 characters in peace with no fighting)
also would like to add, the fanservice ingame is very ignorible, most of the weird fanservice is found in trailers, another add is that fanservice isn't always weird designs, it can also be fan favourite characters interacting with eachother, or a popular pairings the fandom created, like argenti and boothill for example from hsr, they only made them interact because it was a fan pairing, another example when robin and boothill interacted because they were popular too, the meaning fanservice lost its meaning because of peeps that think its only weird designs, when the actual meaning is serving the fans, or in other words adding stuff that the fans like
Just started playing this game less than a week ago on my desktop computer. Don't have as much experience with this game on mobile, so review will be based on cpu version. Although everything besides for lag or download speeds should be same no matter.
The graphics and artstyle are superb. Gameplay is nice with it being a roaming game instead of just left to right or turn based type games. Characters are very nice looking and very diverse in regards to their personalities. Upgrading isn't too bad so far. Very easy to understand and maneuver. The ui and menu's where a little confusing for me at first, but with experience not so confusing. There's a lot to do as well. Not just story mode, but other modes as well. I like the story so far. Not boring. I haven't tried the gacha yet as I am happy with the characters they give you from the start. I did receive another character, although don't remember how. Plus I have decided to save up on gacha materials for the time being.
All in all a game I will definitely make one of the main games I play. Highly recommended to try out, for sure.
alright time for a proper review, I've been playing this game for two weeks now so i have a more proper opinion kinda
pros:
- a well polished and perfectly executed 2000s nostalgia asthetic with an absurd attention to detail
eg: cds in the shop all have illustrations, you can see what a character is doing on their phone or pc,the tv in the menu is interactble and some of the ads are referenced in game .etc
- very immersive world , thanks to the social media (interknot) feature and npc interactions you can get a very good idea of what the world is like despite the small scope.
- characters have different animations that fit their personality as opposed to cycling through the same five animations like some kinda of gacha life video,npcs and playable characters look like they belong to the same universe so it's makes the story a lot more immersive compared to hsr or genshin,if you don't care about the story,certain parts of it,or just want to do it later you have the option to skip through it and button mashing actually works this time(cutscenes aren't skipable for the first time tho)and the story is replayble so no need to make a new account to play it again,thanks for such a basic game feature hoyo🙏🙏
- wacky characters,if you enjoy a silly cast of likeable goofballs than you're gonna like the characters in this game a lot,belobog industries and the cunning hares are the best example of this.
-unique 3d animations,i don't need to explain this one
- banger soundtrack cus this is mihoyo we're talking about
- the combat is easy to get into and looks cool,i haven't gotten that deep into it so i can't say for sure how complicated it is, especially since i don't Play that many fighting games,tho if you're expecting a souls like experience than no this game follows a pretty traditional difficulty increase,things get hard when you reach higher levels,the hardest content is higher levels of hollow zero but i haven't played it so idk.
- not as grindy as something like genshin ,ascending a character/weapon only requires one item as opposed to four/three,all level up items are obtained from the same location so no running around and crafting can be done anywhere,leveling up a character/weapon doesn't require money it's only required when ascending them, ascension material (or rank up as it's called) is open on all days of the week, stamina is 240 and you get 60 for free, dailies can be performed in like a minute and you have options.
cons:
- if you hate rng gear (artifacts,relics,echos) or just can't tolerate dealing with multiple games like this then this game has it too
- the smaller scope of this game and movement might come off as restrictive
-the tv puzzles are kinda bland but they've been improving,plus the devs said they'll be working on it
- 19 gb (android) and 110 gb to install (pc) on launch is craaaazyyy for a game like this like what??😭😭
any way that's kinda it,zzz is a very polished game with fun but casual gameplay if that's you're thing then you're gonna like it.

Pros:
- The graphics and animations (include the combat) are top notch , i mean it's expected.
- I think the story does get interesting in chapter 2. Also, i think most of the characters have a really good personality. Its like the devs have really thought out about them.
- The character designs are really good too. Especially bangboos, they're adorable.
- The music is amazing though, or maybe because it's my taste. Either way i like it.
-The gacha system was within expectations honestly.
- Doing the dailies on this game was probably the easiest to do compared to others.
Cons:
- I think the tv thing take up most of the gameplay, it would be good if we have a lot of combat stuff as well.
- Idk but since i play on a out of spec device, the game takes too long to load. But i also heard the same thing on others that was not out of spec.
Overall, i think this game is really good, i would recommend it to my friends. But then again, i think it could be better, especially with the optimizations.

here we go again with so much hype finally zzz is live. lets starts off with gameplay which is in my opinion good yet simple no rocket science or combo which kinda makes pulling ssr must i mean 🦈girl lol. currently they are making things simple. story, mats, challenge etc barelly 10-15 min screen time if clear story and all.
Lets do Pros and Cons in my opinion.
Pro
Graphic are very good and smooth on even mid phone on ultra not a single lag.
Story is very promising, voice actor did awesome job.
Combat & game mechanic are simple except HDD puzzle mode.
Cons
Useless Puzzles in story mode HDD which waste almost 70% of time and buggy at times.
after playing for some time combat becomes boring yes its fast pace but one button smash gets me.
Music kinda disappointing was expecting more considering game theme.
Rewards/daily grinding in my opinion are not enough. game is leaning towards Pay2Win initial release rewards are not attractive enough.

So my Day-1 overall impression so far :
First from Graphic
As Overall Design from Maps, Chara until Enemies design has been well-made and now be more motionic compared to other Hoyoverse games.
Second from Sound into Gameplay (Maps until Battle mode)
Start from Maps Soundtracks so far quite enjoyable, relaxing and good-matching with vibe. You can even relisten all Soundtracks on MC's Room but kinda wasted that beside the game consume more battery as usual you can't even listen the soundtrack on background for Mobile if u want to do multitasking but PC you can just let it loop on Client itself. Meanwhile Gakumas had done better in Mobile.
Soundtracks on Gameplay can match with your taste if you are into Urban Genre with High-BPM but shamely there's only few only them and I personally can't match myself with the tense that I was hoping for. But anyway the soundtrack itself still good and some of them have a good match with Story you're working for or the Cutscenes that you pay attention on. I put my score neutral because there's only few song that I was looking for.
Third from Game Stats (from Gameplay & Contents until Endgame)
The Gameplay itself had done better compared to Honkai Impact though it work slightly different but it has it's own kit like Parry with Assist button, Chain Attacks, Anomalies.
But I have worse experience for that. Start from Auto-focus which super annoying especially facing Thanatos which if they always Dive back and you can't even hit em properly, more worse if there's more mobs which will messing with your Camera focus unless you play safe with Perfect Assist. Then the Character Display if you are on Mobile against Big Enemy like Nineveh, it's hard to tell which pattern they about to go unless you wait for Perfect Assist mark, PC won't have this issue though cuz you have better Display . It's hard to tell if such pattern can be countered or not like one pattern you can counter with Perfect Assist but that same pattern couldn't be countered with PA at the same time even you still have PA point. Last one is if you switch unit during Attack Motion, that last unit still vulnerable to get hit if the motion itself hasn't over yet until they gone, so that unit still can die if you're not carefully on switching even some pattern can make it invulnerable but still can't help that much.
For Content, from Hollow Gameplay kinda meh especially if you try to clear The Prophecy quest which will take hour to clear it without Battle Gameplay which for me definitely boring to keep because it doesn't feel like how some Rogue-like Gameplay should be. Some of quests has something like that, well the Speed itself already get better but still there's big minus like the button can be very sensitive if you are on big map even with High FPS it still annoying even if you drag the camera by hold press on blocked object like wall I could say more worse experience but mostly directed to similiar statement like this.
Battle Gameplay is fine but Hollow mechanic is meh, which I scored neutral for this.
Another like Event that had been held so far (until 1.1) is less related to Battle Gameplay, it's relaxing which less pressure to clear but there's none for Battle related only. There's some New Content for Battle Gameplay like Disputed Node & Inferno Reap, I appreciate for New Node for make it harder and not being Speedrun related but just wish there's limited event similar like this with same if not harder Difficulty level. Inferno Reap could be potential to be season content as Hollow Zero so far is finest Content for both Roguelike & Battle Gameplay but need something that can motivate me to play & raking more beside grinding for Denny. Once you done with Inferno, you had nothing left and back to be 2 Hollow Run/week.
I'm not going to talk about Storyline but my score stand my overall impression.
This game is good and bad, impressive and not, matched and not at the same time for me.
