I see a lot of 5 star ratings wihtout any description at all. Did standards have plummeted or something?
My first impression is, to put it lightly. It's probably just not for me. It's 1gb.
The music made me sleepy. No voice sound other than the 1 generic atk sound so far.
The font used feels so thin that it might be hard to read for some. Graphics, probably just a passing grade. Skill animation is probably average.
There's also the obligatory press this button and stuff at the beginning.
Sorry, but it just felt lazy. All in all, I can't really give this a 5 star. That's just too generous. I was supposed to give this a 3 star but it's hard to give it 3 star with this rating system.
Update 5: Game is dead. It's been months since I've heard back from tetania or Colby, so Customer Service is completely ignoring me. This game's servers got hacked twice (once in April, again in May) and there's no telling what information the hackers got since the devs don't COMMUNICATE WITH US. Go look at tetania's posted notes for how they handle their servers being hacked. They release gift codes that don't work, they don't try to fix the codes at all, they don't tell us what info the hackers got, and now they've gone completely radio silent. Even the facebook page is dead as the last update was in March. It's gotten to the point where they've even asked users to give them fake positive reviews to artificially boost the game's rating. Just look through the most recent Global comments. You'll see a ridiculous amount of 5 star scores with a single emoji in the review or one word like "fun" or "game". It's so blatant that it's actually kind of sad.
This dev team does not care about you at all. It's so obvious when you look at how they've treated their players since the game released and how they don't give a damn if their game works or not. I personally want to see this game shut down and for the devs to be sued for using the Grandcypher and other stolen assets to make money for themselves. Then again, if this really is one of those cheap Chinese booba games, they'll probably face zero consequences, then disappear and reappear with the same BS at a later date. Regardless, steer clear of this dumpster fire. There are multiple games on here with even more fanservice and actual engaging gameplay. This one ain't it.
Update 4: Still no response or status update on my account being wrongfully locked, but I did learn that this game uses stolen assets. The flying ship on the splash screen is the Grandcypher from Granblue Fantasy. This company shamelessly takes assets that other artists have worked hard to make, and just copies and pasted it into their s**t. If they sue the hell out of you I'm going to laugh. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
At least now I understand what happens when you really don't budget your game properly. You end up with 3 sound effects in the whole game, god awful music, and gameplay so boring and uninspired that you have to make your characters half-naked (or more) for anyone to even bat an eye at your game. Half the characters are probably stolen from another game that you're hoping nobody finds out about. Who can know for sure? It's not like you respond to your players anyway, especially when they come to you repeatedly with a problem.
Update 3: They've accused me of using illegal programs/cheating? In a crappy idle game nobody's even heard of?? From this nobody developer who gets off from banning accounts for no reason???
If you put even half the effort into the game that you put into unjustly banning accounts, maybe this game would have more than 3 voice lines and you'd have an actual decent budget.
Either tell me what illegal programs you detected me using, or unban my account and apologize for being an @$$ throughout this entire ordeal.
Update 2: I've confirmed that the dev(s) locked my account specifically for no reason and refuses to respond to my asking for a reason. You're really going to suspend my account when I haven't cheated at all in your game (it literally JUST released) just because you don't like the way I call out your lack of communication. Stop being a coward and respond to me: why is my account locked? Give me a reason instead of blocking my account and running away like a little b***h. If you can't simply communicate with your players, you have absolutely no business being a mobile game dev, or a game dev in general.
Update 1: I can no longer log in. It tells me "Skywalker account is locked". I've tried on WiFi and data. Either there's a new issue that needs to be addressed, or you're purposely locking out accounts that call out your crappy customer service since it doesn't seem like a connection problem. Very poor experience with this game and developer so far...
Graphics are probably the strongest suit in this gacha collection type game, so it gets a 4/5. Sound is clean, loops a lot and not much variation, but it doesn't sound terrible so it gets a 3/5. There are some parts of the game where you get locked out, especially at the 20-30k team power section and there's a massive jump to 50k without providing the level limit break materials at all, so all your characters are stuck at lvl 40 for a really long time (which is why I rated gameplay at 2/5). Storyline is ok, very generic and boring, but not absolutely terrible, so it gets a 3/5. Gacha-type games are most of the time inherently P2W, and they lean very close to it, but it's kind of do-able as a F2P. It's greatest downfall is pretty much the progression lock with characters stuck at lvl 40 by insufficient materials, and that really decides the fate of the game, so it gets a 2/5 overall until they fix this.
After playing 5 chapters, I can no longer bear the horrible experience given by the BS level design. An enemy with AOE damage is already hard to deal with, since the characters use one same health bar, but what if the enemy have life leech other than that? All I know is that I dealt damage in one round and the enemy went back to full health after one attack. That is only the Boss of Chap.5.
And the power system. I got 38K power, and I have to beat levels recommending 50+K to get materials & stuff. Just delete the power system, doesn't have reference value lol.
Graphics are fine, but the sounds? Despite the absence of character voice (which makes it look like a semi-finished game), the BGM just makes me sleep.
I'll avoid speaking about the gacha part, for I've seen people arguing that some game's good only because s/he got good gacha while ignoring other crappy parts. This is just a matter of luck.
In all, unless you really have no games to play, do not download this. If you disagree with me, I welcome rational discussions on this game.
Not much to say, lmao. Gift codes dont even work, what more to say about the game.
Grpahics are horrendous
SFX and character VA is non-existent
In-game UI is a literal mess
Character design is the only redeemable point of this game.
Quite obvious from the rating of this game that the developers are requesting the assistance of players to falsely rate the game highly, despite the abhorent quality of the game.
So, for those considering to invest any amount of time in this game due to the high ratings of this game given by players, please do not.
The customer service is shitty, that's the first thing I gotta say.
The line "Wow, your hands look like dad's hands" kinda creeped me out a little bit.
The storyline is like from any other game I played, well almost at least, not that bad ig.
Graphics are good. I like the colorful theme. But you should work on the chibi in-battle designs of the girls, some of them look kinda bad. The animation is pretty smooth tho.
The game looks a bit rushed.
It's pretty easy to get SSR cads, not complaining tho.
Didn't listen to the sound since I don't play games with sound on so I can't say a lot abt that.
That's all I have to say for now lol
(Edit found below which includes some thoughts after 1 week)
Visuals are the game's strongest points which I do actually like quite a lot, though if you dislike chibi, it is some form of that. Otherwise everything else is about average or lower. There are A LOT of deals and packs going on, if you've seen it before you'll know exactly what I mean. The story seems like it could be interesting, MC chasing after the stories of adventure his family left behind, however, the rather poor translation really makes me not even want to follow it. I'll stick around for a little while to see where it goes with future content and changes
Edit 4/11
Upon playing for another week I've had a lot of issues such as losing currencies, game getting stuck and requiring restarts, daily events not properly refreshing and losing out on those benefits, and more. Combined with a distinct lack a updates/communication, I have no idea whether these are problems for everyone, just me, or even intentional mechanics. Beats me.
Further, some core mechanics are just frustrating or indecipherable. Relying on absurd amounts of rng just to clear difficult missions is unbearable because of the "burst" mechanic, which is the only way to actually deal damage to anything that isn't superbly weaker than you. Of which, you can't force your characters into burst state, it's chance besides a very few select characters which are either SSR or require being further into the game and winning some of this RNG that can force characters into to a limited extent.
Now along with entering this burst state you also have "chances" for some of your secondary effects on your abilities to activate, some still only have a chance even if you were lucky enough to enter your burst state when you needed to. What is this chance? Hell if I know, they don't use percents, only descriptors. "Small chance", "Fair chance", "low", and "high" chances. Not to mention many attacks are balanced around their secondary applications, barely even taking into consideration the chance of it even occuring. So many characters are straight trash since you already have to worry about your other layers of rng that dealing with more, as well as weaker numbers because they have it, another pain.
Also, hopefully you get a solid single target damage dealer, preferably also having one for every element, because otherwise you're in for even more misery as your aoe characters will be near worthless against every boss that doesn't have minions, which is a lot.
Graphics: Pretty nice, some designs are like that r18 steam games. Animation is smooth (for l2d & sd form), except for that starfall gacha animation, it's like lacking of inbetween frames.
Sound: I hardly hear anything, but at least it has sound & attacking voice
Gameplay: It has AP consumption, so at least you must slighty think about party composition (every unit has different AP consumption). HP stat from every party unit is basically summed as 'one' party HP so it's no matter whomever unit get attacked (meanwhile, attack stat works per unit). It has an auto-battle system anyway. You also can enhance overall party stat with equipment & potential stone.
Storyline: Dunno, everyone is a pilot. Sky adventurers likely.
Value: There are many newbie gift. No reroll. Unit rarity isn't that significant, because stat of low rarity unit with high bond level can even outclass ssr unit with low bond level (you can increase bond level by using exact unit dupes).
Man, unit slots always full with exp fodders.
Just heard about this game and when I came to the home page, boy was i disappointed, not because the game, as I didn't even open it yet. I am disgusted by the customer service as I just read a review of an unhappy player who's account was locked by the game dev for no reason and the dev refused to communicate, just because the player called them out? That in my opinion is already a red flag, implying that if anything happens to your account (whether you got banned for cheating or not), the game dev couldn't care less and will refuse to cooperate. I'm going to pass on this game, as I'm not joining the bandwagon of shitty customer service.
