Sound: It has various themes, but mostly with happy/comedic vibe.
Gameplay: Auto shooting chibi game, no manual movement and with slight control of skill usage. Every charas has a rich combination of environment speciality - attack type - armor type which are crucial for high difficulty quests. It has other features like idle cafe (stamina & money resources) and affection leveling (stats & unlocking l2d). Swipe method is very generous, no ticket only stamina.
Storyline: About sensei & his students' school life. Besides main story, every chara has their own story which makes the relationship & plot map pretty solid.
Value: Gacha has 200 points pity/spark that will reset for every banner change which is horrible, but that won't be a progress wall because low rarity charas are upgradable and in fact usable.
You need many dupe shards for increasing chara's star/rarity level (with unique weapon bonus at *5). With efficient farming, shop checking & planned gacha, you can raise all charas you have to the max potential. Slow but sure.
Update: I'm new player, but already slapped with a terrible gacha rate :v
My rating is between good and bad.
all characters are cute and they become chibis in battle, cafe etc. , one thing i notice is first roll gives you 3* like hey rate aren't that bad then next few rolls gives you 1-2* like wtf and promoting characters takes many shards.
Gacha rates is really really low. prepare for the worst.
the battle is auto, they move automatically wheever they want, skills is the only thing you can aim at. even focusing target first doesn"t exist. there is auto battle for those lazy manual skillers, fast battle up to x3 speed and sweep for instant clearing when you already 3* the stage only.
what else Ui seem nice but i notice there so much loading happening in game. it takes like 3-5 sec. (not sure if my phone but i already using poco x3) graphics and max frame rate can handle yet loading is my problem. everytime i go there is loading loading screen..
It's not that bad or good either, everyone talking how bout nexon handling the game, hopefully they don't mess it up sooner. i want to give it higher rating but the value and life span of this game might die soon.
there is no chat screen, the game is really quite for time being, just have to unlock Club to interact with others (maybe). there is no add friend too. basically it's like single story game most of the time. i haven't play japamese version i might wrong.
best try and see it for yourself before judging too. not all people sees it the same way. 👍
this game is low key kind if fire. some great things it does off the bat is presentation. The loading screen music is pretty nice and i love the art style a lot. this game also does something that I've never seen before, and that's characters saying your in game name in voice lines... or more like 1 character, Arona. I guess they doing it by using some sort of vocaloid like software. I dont know but its cool regardless. I also like the chibi art style of the characters, just wish the special animations would be a bit longer, and frequent. In my opinion there is nothing blatantly wrong with the game. though some nitpicks are the loading screen comics could use variety, and they have these little things on the side that look like some cropped the picture though it could just be me. the gacha is pretty alright, though expect to get a 10 pull and only get 1 2 star. One last nitpick! This is just a pet peeve of mine though, i really dont like it when they show you the characters you havent unlocked, especially when there arent a lot of them. I get it. This can be because of story reasons or the amount of work it takes to make one, though im just hoping they plan on adding on to the game....

graphics are really great and detailed, also a bit much of a glow, and i like the modern, clean and sleek ui
sound is great but not remarkable tho
gameplay is your standard idle, and you can be super pro player with manual skilling, or be a potato couch and let it auto (or pressing quick clear (?) button)
about the storyline, from what i've heard, is pretty enjoyable and interesting, spoiler: it has a kind of a dark twist/setting/backstory you'd expect from games publised by yostar. basylically, the premise is all of the school clubs (factions?) fight each other and all of them are based on different ideology/religion. And you just landed yourself into a kind of bankrupt almost dissolved kind of school clubs (your typical mc in a almost bankrupt organization)
value: ehhh, it's safe to say it's a bit similar from priconne, pull count resets on rotating banners, gives you elephs (or milleage points) to get your favorite character's shard to upgrade or unlock them, you can pull gachas with pyroxenes, which is pretty hard to grind unless you do pvp, event or the money pot, Raids shadow legen-
it's a pretty fun game i'd say but ehh, it's just your another kind of ordinary priconne gameplay but you are in future instead, also, just put your relationship to "big booties" not small grils, cause they might be special bodybuilder agents in disguise that capture you the moment you touch them. Also the reason you cannot be able to play this because either your country put a taxed regulation that made some game publishers afraid or they hate "sensitive content" or "super anime" games. So it's not really nexons fault, but you can't change a country's rule so what can you do about it.

Ok ill be Honest here! JP version of this Games is Good(Company handling diff.) since Yostar is a good company. and Here which is Nexon!(i think Most Players know this) hoping that Miracles happens.
But it is already f Up to a certain Point(Not General). Aside from the Artstyle which is Good, Characters,Sound,Gameplay(Mostly auto but i dont mind). the only thing that i Hate About this Game is THAT CRAPPY RATE UP! the Gacha system into which is not very Friendly! i play most Hell Gacha games like FGO(i gut Good on it) but this one? i reroll many times and my sanity cant handle this....i cant get what i want bcuz of that very Low chance.
and oh PVP is META reliant so to those Peeps who are Waifu>Meta (Like me teehee) im sorry....but its true

Play JP version seriously and just play Global for the story if you are interested in it. I love how a lot of people defended Nexon, and now that the whole Maple Story fiasco came to light, a lot of ppl are wary of them now.
If you still believe Nexon isn't screwing you over after all the news, you are a clown and deserve to be treated as trash and being milked by them.
The gacha rates in this version feel abysmally low compared to JP server. May be bad luck, who knows? But I'm not risking it anymore, worst thing is that I already spent some money on global and had a taste of the good old Nexon treatment.
And no, Nexon NA isn't different than Nexon Korea, they might have different management, but in the end, its the same company, stop kidding yourself.
Wanted to give lower rating, but the game devs deserve better since the JP ver is really good.
The best side gacha for me rn, game is just so good, specially the story, might be cliché sometimes but just like what Hifumi said on Chapter 3 of Eden Treaty: "I like clichés!". The gameplay, it's the problem of many players though for me I'm enjoying it a lot and never get bored, the animation of the chibis is what made me appreciate and love the game even more, they're so detailed, PvP is another problem of all and pretty much you can easily ignore it and just do it whenever you want. Started like 3 months ago and kinda regretted that I didn't start playing on its release cause you know, Nexon + the Censorship drama after some time...it made me lose interest and trust, but after months I've started to hear good things on how they handle the game and gave it a try.
Probably one of my favorites story driven gacha games right now. The game gameplay while fun it become repetitive and boring, the ai quite janky considering your glass cannon backliner can sometimes too close or standing in front of your tank and aggro enemies attack (This often happen in PVP atleast for me) but what making it bearable to me sometimes the game characters behavior in gameplay can randomly match their personality making me laugh. The strong point of this game is their Character and story.
When first saw this game animation PV it caught interest then after the game launch it was a buggy mess. The game gradually became heavy the longer you play and you need to restart it to make it smooth again and this messing with my experience. Then I find out who developed the game and I suddenly lost my interest expecting in a few months the game will be terminated like many other games that this developor released.
After a year I was surprised that the game didn't died considering their track records, and decide to come back. At that time the game while still quite buggy it better than when it launch and gradually fixing those bugs making the game bearable to me. As time goes on I starting to like this game because it really good at making you attached to their characters even the story can be pretty cliche sometime but not in a bad way. And after the 4th PV this game become among of my favorites gacha story game.
A very refreshing game with cute girls and guns! (And also hidden mysteries)
Character Designs are amazing. There are many option of waifus—I mean, students, to choose. Mostly have cute designs, JK-like (ofc), the in-game illustrations are also very, very good and well drawn.
I should say that Blue Archive have ONE OF THE BEST L2D I've ever seen so far. Very unobtrusive (without worrying about battery condition 😹), with superb art and dialogue they offer.
They also offer AMAZING BGM/music. I spent like hours in this game only to 'spoil' my ears with their in-game OST.
Gameplay wise? Interesting at first, but slowly started to get boring~ But don't worry, the EX Skill animation sometime cheer me up to continue playing.
Also storyline is unexpectedly well-written! At first I thought BA will only be one of those 'fan-service' games where lore won't be something so serious, and it's all about happiness of sensei with their students in Kivotos. But guess I'm wrong?
The worst thing ever in Blue Archive is : Their Gacha. I don't know anymore, welcome to rate-off hell of BA.
If i had to summarize what this game is about I'd tell you princess connect with guns (it reminds me of priconne a bit too much even but we're not gonna talk about that...)
firstly, i don't understand people whining about the gacha since F/GO players would ejaculate out of their tearducts if they saw a whole 7. 8% for rate ups
if you bother reading further i have but a few things to point out first being you REALLY should give it a try since i think it's pretty fun, but here's where you might get disencouraged....
i will not lie i can see how with time your gacha currency gain would drop by a lot, but by that time you should have a bunch of decent units evenif they aren't 3★, and at first seeing how damage types work you'd think the game is gacha heavy and i wouldn't pie that it is but there is a simple reason why this isn't an issue
the 2nd damage type you're introduced to is heavy which is weak to piercing damage, so you need a student with piercing damage alright but EVEN if you SOMEHOW don't get a piercing damage student by the first time you see a heavy armored unit one of the starter characters already has piercing damage
basically the game compensated being so heavily gacha based by introducing new armor types really slowly and giving you a piercing damage student already when you start , this can't be said for the mystic damage type since you don't get that as a starter although I'm finishing mission area 3 and i haven't seen a single enemy with the matching armor type
one other thing to point out but not disencourage you is how acctually tedius the menu screen is- not the design or button layout but how slow everything loads the task screen loads as fast as a mission loading screen and this isn't exaggerated at all
final thoughts: fun, try it and stop bitching about the gacha rates
