I have absolutely loved this game since I found out about it. Mechas and Waifus? Yes please! I had to get it as soon as I saw it combines two of my favorite game elements, especially for mobile. I'm a huge waifu collecter and this is my number one now, for I love robots almost as much as Waifus. while I absolutely love the Gameplay as well, it's super fun to play and has a great combination of gameplay elements imo. it reminds me a bit of GFL and Azure Lane. While I absolutely love it, I feel like it is lacking in end game content a bit. I do all possible missions everyday and wish I could still play more, but there is a bit of a stamina system for most missions.
There's a limit of 3 daily missions, one of each type (Defense, Offense and Escort) plus 1 urgent. you can run any type of mission up to 20 times in a day as well, or 40 if you buy a pass. You can also run character specific missions 4-5 times a day I think. There's others but I can't remember it all fully, just that there are limits. Still I would definitely recommend giving it a try if you're a mech/waifu fan!
An interesting take on the Azur Lane-esque side scrolling waifu collector, absolutely mired by a myriad of overcomplicated systems.
The game's hook is interesting enough, but after making it through the first few hours the absolutely ridiculous amount of systems to manage was just too much.
Overly-complex meta experience aside, the actual combat gameplay plays well enough, and each type of mech has an interesting dynamic to them. Unfortunately, even when it comes to mech customization, you'll be hardpressed to compete strength-wise with the pre-designed set mechs, especially if they're the unique character mech.
Lots of promising aspects, but an entirely overwhelming experience that just makes you want to play something else instead.
. After testing d game out for 10 days+ (during d evangelion-mari&kaworu dec 2021 collab event, d simplest i can say for this game is ....it's an afk mecha gacha game with anime waifus + sim-rpg + all servers' item in usd cash cow mode. You either like d genre or you dont bother.
1. Auto cause u'll hv most battles done this way. Fights r lengthening n arduous n meaningless.
2. NPC AI Foes can link up into battles when engaged close enough, but urs dont despite hving multiple teams. Other than needing them to open doors here n there, your 3teams/4 formations x help one another(link up like d foes). Each are mutually exclusive n on their own in-battle.
3. Each bosses n stages are HP sponges n to get through them, you'll either need to grind d many components needed to slowly obtain them 4 free, or just folk up the USDs.
4. Most chars hv their own mech suit (4 parts), but d better ones r locked behind paid-crystals 12,000 crystals min (1.5k per banner). A good surplus is hving 22.5k crystals b4 gacha-ing 4 favs/meta. You'd need char copies 4 their "genes" to trade 4 d mech parts, to complete all 4s to get the mech's full power. U'd also need genes 4 their skills, traits, n char power ups. Expect lots of dupes.
5. The game has tier listed characters, if u x hv certain units, best re-roll or to play it on hard mode self indulgently.
6. The game only feels opened up after lvl 40+ (around 7-10 days grinding). Even then, you'd begin to understand what i meant by auto-afk-mecha gacha game grind if u had persisted.
7. Free resources (only if u keep grinding daily n repetitively). it gets boring real quick. And is only f2p friendly if u spent d 4-6hrs on afk auto-battling.
8. stop n reflect. if this is what players need to do on a daily basics now, then it'd still be d same on later levels. Just keep grinnding-afk. Battles r afk, but u need to guide them to atk post interval battles or they'll just stand still while d timer ticks down.
Overall, not my thing. d grind isnt even fun. just imagine a tier SS, grade SSR unit can output 4-6x the output if u hv them. If u hadnt selected them from newbie-selection/ paid to get them, ur experience w greatly differ than those that did.
2/5 for me.😐😕
This game is very much great in terms of the gameplay and the graphics, The main story is pretty average as compared to the story in the events.
Graphics: you can pretty much control the quality of the settings from low to high and you can turn on/off any spFx make it not too laggy.
Gameplay: farming of crystals(currency for rolls) is pretty muc moderate, so you can save for 10x in less than a week (for f2p); the mechs you can aquire better ones slowly while the customs for certain chara are some farmable some not yet available. During a sortie the mechanics is pretty fun but you can auto them if you just want to play leisurely.
so this is a nice direction for games. there is no cap to missions that can be done and the ability to control your units and make a impact gives it a none gacha feel. the art is cool except the battle art. i am not a huge chibi fan. the music is catchy. the game is fair in gacha and the story is decent. as a whole its really fun and has lots of variety. it reminds me sort of like a modern day azure lane with front mission lite customizations. maybe are are one step closer to a solid gundam game or such
Some part of the game menu layout is whack such as the expedition. It adds something a little extra in the game but not in a good way. Double to quadruple speed is available for routing only but not in battle. It would really help a lot when people are doing auto battle since the animation at the start of the battle is really slow and repetitive. Removing it entirely would also be great. The storyline is really good and a lot of animation for fights. The skill usage are also animated and I would rate it 7/10 of fgo NP skill animation.
Side scrolling action video game.
You can set the character mech whatever you want.
But the character has their own costom mech, So they got bonus stat when you got their set.
For me, it was fun for the first week but it got boring quite fast.
Good game overall.
it has p2w element (lol growth packs and the usual stuff) but if u strategize ur units loadout and the timing u can win just fine.
the Gacha is generous and currency is kinda easy to earn.
Overall this is quite good Mecha game, you get girls to pilot a robot with 4 selectable part to change from Weapon, Body, Leg and Backpack(?). Most of the play through can proceed with auto mode after clearing Mission 1-3.
But the translation is a bit bad interm of the words length where some dialogue out of the frame, that cause me change from English to Chinese after few hour of play.
Now for the Gacha part, the *crystal* is quite easy to get as your proceeds the game. Rate quite good for me to get Gold rarity Girls(not sure about other).
1 word to describe this game: meh. Its your generic Azur Lane style shoot em up where you are most likely to win 99% of pve battles.
Gacha has an interesting concept, 1 being the Azur Lane construction system and the other your classic gacha 10x rolls.
Gameplay is painfully mediocre. Move forward, backwards, attack, skill, move in map to beat enemies. The gear system is there, so expect this game to have double gacha too.
Character aesthetic wise, eh. Not the greatest looking, not the most sexualised, not the most kid friendly looking. Like its gameplay, its ok.
Yeah this is the definition of ok.
