I don't care about a lot of the critiques such as censor and slow servers. But playing this version compared to JP, along with how they reduced rewards in SEA servers makes me feel like Kakao is trying to nickle and dime (rip off) it's players for this game off the bat in order to try to hit sales goals, at the expense of providing value and enjoyment to the player. Kakao has betrayed it's trust in the gacha game community after a stellar guardian tales performance. Get your act together kakao if kakao wasnt piece of shit this would have been an easy 5 stars, but any person wanting an uncensored review will look at qooapp and not gplay also kakao deleted my negative review on gplay for the 3rd time now damn you kakao, This isnt how you do PR

just a headsup for people planning to play this. be aware that kakao games removed the account delete function from the GL version of the game, making it really hard to re roll . to make matters even worse, the GL version is stingy with the amount of currency it gives out, so go figure why they removed it . terrible disappointed with this release. despite preparing myself for the shafting to happen, this really stings as i was excited for the game because i hoped kakao games would have some decency to not go too far with it, but here we are. (NOTE:Seems like kakao games a are busy doing damage control on the game google playstore page right now deleting 1 star reviews that points out the stunt they decided to pull off...)

delete account function has been removed. game still forces you back into the last used guest account if you log out or delete cache. you have to reinstall the game to reroll. art is censored despite being the global version, players are assigned to separate regions and are region locked meaning they cannot add or play with friends in other regions SEA gets 300 gems for one of the pre-reg goals while NA gets 1000 1 star reviews are being deleted from google play truly the world flopper

After all this wait for a global version kakao games f*cked up. - Censorship, even though I don't even consider JP lewd. Also, seleton's skin was modified it means we got the f***ing CCP censorship. - Easy reroll removed - Skills and weapons machine translated - App refuse to start in Japan (I don't know if there's other countries), unless you remove you sim card and use a VPN. And you need to do that each time you launch the game. At least Guardian Tales only require you to do it the first time you launch the game - SEA got less preregistration rewards than other regions - 50 beads compensation for maintenance, which is 1/3 pull i had good expectations because I play Guardian Tales and played jp version, but Kakao Games disappointed me. Inferior version and greedy publisher.

Idk about the 2021 reviews talking about being unable to do the easy reroll and anything else theyre talking about. I dont really care much about easy rerolls or anything, I just love this game. Lots of diversity in the characters, and a lot of them are SO PRETTY. Love the graphics so much, I love pixel art + anime. A really unique way of fighting, with using your characters like they're in a pinball machine. I like the storyline but personally it gets a little boring to keep up with at times and I skip some of it, intending to read it later. I do love collecting the different characters and upgrading them. It's not too difficult to play for free and still get a lot of lodestar beads, which help you summon characters, and it isn't too difficult to upgrade them either with time and effort. Sound is nice, nothing special imo but I still like it.

[開心]World Flipper it really flipped me over with just how enticing it made a simple pinball game feel. I used to play pinball in arcades when I was still a young padawan. I always found it fun but not something that'll I'll want to play more than once or twice. World Flipper has stellar character designs and a very pleasing and polished UI making navigation easy. The Gacha rates aren't the best but they're okay just reroll a few times now since there extra compensation and rewards should get you around 3 multis. The story is very engaging and short precise cute bits are geeat! The scenes don't feel lengthy or dragged at all. Enjoying the story so overall. The fact that the game plays vertically is a major W for me! For some reason vertically games make me feel like I don't have to make a major commitment to the game and can be enjoyed casually. I understand there's a lot of controversy behind the difference between other regions but honestly that's a regular thing for gachas rn. Especially considering laws and regulations diff globally than Japanese/Chinese/Korean laws concerning games and gachas. I'm enjoying my time in the game playing it for the great artwork music and story the gacha is a side hassle thing. Worth trying out for anyone especially pixel art enthusiast! [哇噻]

World Flipper is a new spin on a very niche category, pinball RPGs. You might be familiar with sling RPGs where you either flick (pull and release) characters or a ball at enemies/objects, but a pinball RPG is mainly different in that it has real-time gameplay—like with actual pinball machines. World Flipper differs from pre-existing pinball RPGs due to its focus on characters, skills (that can gain additional effects based on your backline characters' skills), and status effects. Yes, Kakao decided to censor art, initially remove the infinite reroll (this has been added back after the pre-registration rewards have expired), separate regions for co-op, and have separate reward campaigns for SEA. I certainly think that global versions of gacha games shouldn't be shafted on rewards in general, but that doesn't warrant an overall low rating (at least compared to the majority of global releases that've been shafted). Outside of Cygames' usual character balancing issue, it's still a great gacha game. What isn't usually mentioned (exclusively about the global version) is that it has a charming translation and has been giving players at least 150 orbs (single pull) per day for logging in. It's better as a side game because of its 2× speed auto feature, (generally) quick dailies, and low stamina bar. Although people say that World Flipper is best played with auto (with the reasoning being that the AI has better reaction and accuracy), it's still a great visual experience. On that note, the AI is far from perfect; for example, it doesn't time skills and will just activate them immediately or whenever they get within range of an enemy.

Okay, so to rip this band-aid off right away, gonna say right off the cuff that a bulk of these reviews don't actually have anything to say about the game itself, but about kakao and how they limited rewards and made re-rolling hard to do. Yes, these affect the experience, and yeah I was pissed about it too, but I'm just gonna say this (you can call me a shill if you want, I give absolutely zero f**ks): 1. Re-rolling is, and always has been, an EXPLOIT. Aside from the handful of gacha games that allow you to re-roll your first 10-pull until you like what you see, it was never something you were MEANT TO DO. It's something people LEARNED they could do and it spread like wildfire. Re-rolls being made harder to do is NOT A FLAW WITH THE GAME. Is it frustrating and kinda greedy? Sure. But it is, by no means, a "removed feature" or unfair. Gacha pulls have always been about luck. If you get some unlucky pulls, then it sucks to be you. This isn't new. This is how it has always been. Not being able to easily sidestep that problem isn't a failure or a transgression against the player. You just hate that you can't trick the game into giving you tier-list-toppers from day one. 2. If, between different versions of the same game, a reduction of the rewards you earn for playing makes your rating drop from 5 stars to 3 or under, then I don't think you actually liked the game. I think you liked the free stuff. I'm making the choice to bite my tongue and keep it bitten regarding censorship, because I am neither informed nor invested enough to comment on it. Now, for the game. Graphics: the character designs are clean, stylish, and cute as hell. The pixel art is super charming. if there's one thing Cygames knows how to do, it's how to make their characters and worlds look good. Sound: The music is bouncy and fun, I've always been a sucker for chiptune. Sound effects are punchy and satisfying, character voices are solid. Gameplay: There's a lot to like here. Amid the vast sea of turn-based RPGs that get power-creeping out the wazoo, the pinball combat is a really nice spin on the gacha formula. Weaker units can still have a lot of utility through the sub-character system, and I personally never noticed a wildly significant difference between low-tiers and high-tiers, beyond passives and skills. Then again, I've always just picked characters I liked for teams instead of playing to the meta in most games, so maybe I'm not the best judge of min maxing. Don't get me wrong, the gameplay is a refreshing change of pace and has a lot of charm, but I wish it was more involved, and that the arenas you play on were more complex and interesting. Storyline: It's... there. the characters are fun to watch interact, but for the most part, this is just Granblue Fantasy Lite. there isn't a bunch of deep interesting lore, and as cool as the each of the characters are, there isn't a lot that makes me want to learn more about them. Value: This is the aspect of the game that harms it the most, all things being fair. As many have said, the JP version of this game is far more generous and you get a lot more bang for your buck in terms of gacha currency, levelling/manaboard resources, etc. it's never impacted me all that much since I've never been a big spender when it comes to gacha, and the characters I have are enjoyable enough to hold my interest for a while. But at the end of the day, the global version is getting less than the JP version.
