First of all game is not optimized and clunky. It's like unfinished game. I dont mind the ping because of overseas server but as i already played tons of games (pc and mobile), I'd say this game is "hard to play" or to enjoy at least for me I'm using emu bluestacks 32 (RTX 2070) and OnePlus 6T,so far "good" games are working smooth on both my devices such like Genshin,Honkai,PGR,Arknights that needs good phone/pc to run and I'm running with high-end setting for those games - Gameplay : I kinda like the TD gameplay but camera angle is lil bit weird, clicking the characters is way to laggy Idk why most of ppl got bugs but i never find any bugs so far - Sounds : I like characters VA but ingame sound is lil bit luckluster - Story : I don't understand Japanese - Graphics : Well this is OK i think similar to King's raid (same dev tho) Gacha : SSR 3% kinda high, 0.1734% each character and 0.4% for rate up. Have character and equipment gacha both have 300 pity. Idk in the future but the rate banner only last for 1 week. Fcking RIDICULOUS The mechanic ingame is kinda p2w,i didn't expect that from vespa. I just finished ch.2 using base characters but the system to reach endgame upgrade is to get dupes You can feel the power spike after ch.2 The resources is really limited in this game and makes the game kinda unbalanced Maybe it's still early game At least at Arknights i can clear annihilation 1 on day 1 and some story chapters Edit TLDR : So i decided to drop this game because as a TD game, this game require you a lot of grind to keep up and to make it worse equipment system. Means you cannot use low rarity characters to keep up the difficulty As the times go on you need full SSR team with their signature equipment to keep up the hardest difficulty. I mean come on DON'T make it like King's raid equipment system to a TOWER DEFENSE game If you enjoy the game then good luck. I have real life so i don't want to waste my time to a bad game that i can't enjoy If you think this still a good game (copium),just check other reviews (playstore, taptap, appstore)

Tldr it's Aegis but 3D, or Arknights but harder and with higher difficulty ceiling. Graphics and Sounds are very good, the storyline is animated, which I personally like, just that it can't be paused right now. Okay, but then it takes a nosedive in gameplay, the game itself still has a ton of bugs which will affect your experience and force you to restart a lot. And then they had to remove a bunch of stuff from chromium shop like exp and skill cards which helped our progression a lot, and now we progress like a snail. (Let's just hope they're revising the shop). Overall, it plays like an unfinished game, but it has a lot of potential if the developers properly fix the issues and revise the shop. The gacha rates are quite good, I've been playing for 6 days as a f2p and used about 260 pulls.(Have gotten 12 ssrs from gacha in total). Even tho i have a lot of ssrs already, i find myself upgrading SRs a lot more just because they're wayyy cheaper to upgrade and some of them are really good too. Even some of the Rs like Krsnik and Robin Hood are very good and dirt cheap to upgrade. I'll continue to stick around and see how Vespa will address all these issues.

From my point of view, this game is easy to play and easy to understand. Sound and graphics are good. But the storyline is a bit stiff (but it's fine for me). Plus, it's a bit difficult to get some items and also some of the items sold are expensive (of course I won't use my real money), such as skip ticket. Character level follows the main level, can't exceed it. Don't forget to upgrade skills too (3 skills for each character). There's also a kind of gem forging like that (I don't know what it's called yet, but it can increase character strength). Like any other game, the tiers/grades start from N to SSR. Oh ya, 2 more, be good at strategizing and the size is almost 4GB. Overall, this game is pretty good too.

TL;DR this is a complicated version of arknights edit: there was a performance update, although it made the game smoother, they removed most of the things you can buy on the chromium shop (using currencies based on gem spent). Some of the items are super useful, so this looks like a bad sign for me, for a game that resources are rare and you'll need it from the get go. Production quality is over the top. Each map is unique, and using basic every day life map is interesting. I like the classroom battle, as cramped as it is, it's super amusing to see one of my assault unit rides a horse inside the class. Voice acting is good, not a lot of well known seiyuus but they nailed the characterization so thumbs up from me. But some voicelines sometimes doesn't play at all. The 3d model and the 2d sprites are nothing but excellent, as expected of Vespa. The enemy design is quite generic and or basic. It is hillarious to see one of them uses a painting as a shield. Current game engine is quite janky, i have to restart every 2-3 battle (using bluestacks 5.0). The game sometimes pauses itself when you cast a skill, cast it again to resume the game. Gacha rates aren't so bad, 3% for the highest rarity is quite generous compared to some gacha games. Although apparenlty dupes has a significance towards character growth. I'm not quite sure what it's for so i can't comment any further regarding that. With that being said, from now on it's my rant towards this game. The game is a combination of TD (tower defense) and some bits from their previous game, King's Raid. Is that a good idea? For now, no. Characters are really fragile. A mob can kick your assault, the one that regenerates your "vitality" (or command points like in arknights), in the ass. Imagine getting hoarded by those bastards. The healer only heals half of the damage my units suffered. There are so much stats to consider, like crit, crit damage, elemental damage, resistent, p.def, m.def, etc. These stats affect the consistency of your auto battle, and my auto can fail for each 2 of 3 runs, despite it is based on a recorded sucessful run.Upgrading characters goes from leveling up, to limit breaking, to skill upgrading each time the character got a level up, and equiping with equipments (rune-like things) that has a stat and substats, that can be rolled. There's also unique weapons for each character that only available from gacha. And for some reason they made a character (Beatrice) a unique SSR (her icon glow red+yellow) and her rate is lower than other SSR, despite also being SSR. These are signs that might lead the game being a full blown p2w, and I do hope they don't put too much characters like this, or just balance her out. I feel it is super complicated, more complicated than the run-off -the-mill tower defense that is already hard on it's own. Difficulty spike in this game is hideous, you get gangbanged straight up on chapter 2. All of these can be accounted to me might be just bad at this game, so take it with a pinch of salt. The game is new, so i will give it time to improve. Would i recommend it now? If you don't mind playing something that quite challenging, up to the point of not being fair, buggy, not available in english, and quite the performance issues, then yes. Outside of that, no. Just wait for improvements. Or just make an account and gacha for Beatrice, and keep that until the game improved, at least performance wise

The game is pretty fun and challenging. Each character has a class of sorts, from being a tank, a range unit, a support that can't deal damage, and so forth. Its a tower defense game mixed with gacha. It is pretty generous with currency for pulls, and getting characters can be pretty easy. Each character has their own personalities and strengths and weaknesses, and while some characters are very strong, others feel like they dont have presence on the battlefield or that they die too quickly. The gameplay can be hectic with a lot of stuff happening at once, and keeping track of everything thats going on and what character has their ability ready to activate. The placement of characters in stages are important too; you don't want to put your weak support units in a spot that they will get easily killed, but also almost every stage is a trail and error of sorts. You'll need to see how the stage plays and where enemies are coming from the most, or the more dangerous enemies are coming from, and plan accordingly to it. Units can be only placed in spots they are allowed in, such as ranged units on the sides and close combat fighters and tanks on the pathway to fight. Overall, the game is pretty fun, but since its fairly new there will be bugs or issues here and there, just takes time for things to be cleaned up and fixed. Im looking forward to more characters being added, additional story or side missions being added, and also costumes being added (at the moment, only 1 costume is in the game, and not sure how its even obtained atm)

First of all I like to appreciate the Char design which looks amazing whether its 2d or 3d, the voice can be upgraded a bit especially in main screen since the character will always says the same thing unless u click it after Its not an easy game per say since you either need good team (lucky) or overlevel some of the stage but the good thing is you better bring various kind of class since its needed to be balance here and some of the stage encourage you to fail first to see the enemy pattern but overall its a tactic game , i dont have any gripe with it Howeverrr, the game feels restricted... the character placement = restricted, the camera = restricted, the dispatch = restricted to x100 (damn i got 3k stamina i want to waste everything), skip stage = restricted (skip tickets needed) This game had so much beauty and content but all feels restricted, I hope it can be upgraded with the flow of time since this game have huge potential Overall just try it and expect nothing (dont compare it to other games coz it will never be the same)

-Worth trying? Short answer: If you like tower defense and grinding then I guess? Personally, I'd say no because the grind feels overwhelming for me. Long answer: It's a tower defense game, just with a different camera angle. We deploy our 3d units on a 2d background art environment. To make this shorter, I'm stopping already because I can already see this being too grindy. Sure, there's skip, but you need tickets. There's auto but I'm not willing to waste my time on those. And what you need to do is: Level units' main level(120 max) Level skills (3 skills per unit (possibly 120 max)(Also needs a skill mat starting from lvl 10. Possibly need 120 skill mat or more for 1 skill) limit break ("possibly" needing to limit break every 20 levels which is x6 with each mats being different from each class.) Equip gear (Which I did not tried anymore because I'm not fan of gear system) In addition I'm pretty sure I have not unlocked everything yet, so there might be more grinding than what I just mentioned. Also, unit level cap scales with player level. Max awakened units might be necessary since the normal stage feels more like a hard stage. It's possible I need higher levels but I'm sure the stage will be easier if the units are max awakened. To have a clearer comparison, I have 1 ssr unit as an example. They at least lay out the info: Awaken 1 specific stat(seems to be hp and atk) increase by 20%. Then full awaken which is Awaken 5 increase specific stat by 170%. That stat difference is pretty huge. Not only that, it also increases active and passive skill.

[GLOBAL/ASIA VERSION - 5TH MAY 2022] So basically this is a story of a buffed man, a child and a robot whose mission is to....what? Wrong series? Isn't this Time Sq-oh, Time Defenders. And they uuh defend time? How? ...They have Paw Patrols? Oh Time Patrols...Huh... we'll uh get back to the story later. Anyways and as always let's just jump to the pros and cons I've gathered so far from playing it. Pros: - Amazing graphics and character designs. Essentially an upgraded version of Arknights - Fully voiced story, with dialogue skip, looking at you Genshin, even Honkai thinks (jokes) you should add skip function - Combat environment is amazing - Story telling is mure fluid than King's Raid - Combat is essentially like Arknights, strikers/assault has a unique command that let's them charge ahead at opponents (like Kingdom Rush's melee units) - Combat also has a unique system, that is, the "defense gate" has life bar. So it won't immediately lose points when enemy passes, rather enemy must attack first,. chipping away the HP. Cons: - The story... oh dear the story..... it's my personal opinion but, I'm just so so tired of this trope. MC is a genius, can fight but can't do a thing when enemy boss attacks, he didn't even try to...you know what, I'll let you see it for yourself. The Paw Patrols, I mean, Time Patrols are cool though (yes the cops, not the ones with powers). It's just, King's Raid story is much much better then this. This one, like Arknights, isn't really all that good. I know I'll be "attacked" by saying this, but I still think Arknights story isn't actually that good. If it's story you want, try the likes of Counterside, Honkai, Epic Seven, King's Raid, Blue Archive and Priconne. No I don't recommend Genshin for story... - The story telling, while more fluid than King's Raid, is still stiff. It's not as smooth as Genshin nor Lord of Heroes or Exos Heroes. - Response time is still a bit slow. Like Pokemon Masters EX, each button press takes around 0.5-1 second to process. Not in combat though. This particular points leads us to... Extreme Cons: - This would've been a fine game to have if not for this FATAL MISTAKE. The growth system design. Like Honkai, it locks your character levels behind your account level. Meaning you have to upgrade your characters everytime you level up. Not just characters, but also skill levels (also locked behind account level). Why is this Extreme Cons? Games like Priconne and Honkai still works with this system because you only need 3 (for Honkai) or 5 (priconned) characters to focus on. So it's not a big hassle. This game though, good luck upgrading 10 characters, or even more. Combined with the slow response time (not as snappy as E7), it's a major hassle. Overall, it's a good side game, or main game if you want to invest more. Now, I know some people will say don't spend money due to Vespa's current situation, but honestly it's up to you. If you want to support them, go ahead and spend some money, the starter pack is a good investment. That said, for myself....I don't think I'll play this for long. Even though I got Beatrice, the first chaos character in the game, the story is just not appealing enough. And I mainly play mobile games for the story. Also, just like Arknights, this is not for fans of TD games. Kingdom Rush and even Field Runners will entertain you more than this. This game is for fans of anime art style game, and fans of live2ds. Because the character designs are amazing. When was the last time you see a football player in gacha? What, Madden? Noo, that's not gacha, that's a "surprise mechanic". So never right?? ...Oh right, Gate Six.....anyway, give it a try, you may or may not like it. Thanks a lot for reading~ ...... I literally have no sense of attachment/interest to any of the characters....Non of them appeal to me like Iroha Tamaki, THE Administrator, Ras Eclare, Aldo, Flame Chasers, Shiroko and Urias....

Alright, been playing since soft launch and I must say I really wanted to keep this game. BUT... This game is making it really hard. Value for money: Very Bad With in-app purchase, they are really expensive and not worth it either. I usually buy packages for games as long as I find it worth it, but I just cant find anything for this game. I was expecting something for it's battle pass, but for 1300PHP / about 25USD You dont get anything special, no exclusive character or artifact at least. Instead, you will get a random SSR ticket and a couple of shards. If you are F2P, you wont have any source of gems in the endgame. This game doesn't give you any gems on daily or weekly missions, they dont even give any of that for maintenance compensation either! 🤣 You will only get them on achievements, meaning if you are on higher level, a lot less source for that. Good luck getting new characters for future banner with pity of 300! 🤣 ****** Gameplay: Lots of potential, but needs a lot of balancing. It's okay for it to be challenging, it's what made me keep on playing the game tbh... But to make it difficult to an "unfair point" is no fun at all. This is in regards to the newly added training room event. I mean, I love challenges for tower defense games but for a "Recommended Level 60" stage, you will be greeted with the weakest mob to just one hit delete your hero. To think that my assault type hero has full Tier 6 Equipment and at level 67 to just get deleted like that isn't fun at all. It's not even a boss 🤣 I tried checking those who have completed it on the vid recording and all of them have to be 90+ in level. And guess what, lvl 90 recommended stage? No one can beat it yet 🤣 Please do some balancing. Hoping for the best for the development of this game.
