Another day, another gatcha. The story is the strong point of this game. It is well written (although still have a lot of typo and translation error in English). The gameplay is unique and fun to engage, but gets tedious after awhile. They do have auto with a slightly above average (still crappy) AI to help you, but no skip ticket, so you will still waste lots of battery. Game also have mode for hardcore players, and a casual can somewhat play through everything with ease (except that little event where they ask everyone to sacrifice your sanity. Thank god it gets better).
It is hard to raise a character to max. And there are a lot of character to choose from. However, the core gameplay actually limit your choice in character choosing, and makes you want to have dupes for a handful of useful characters, instead of using the new shiny characters they introduce every update.
It is a good time waster, and you can definitely play it as a f2p.
for F2P like me, my opinion about this game that the gacha rate are better than FGO . even tho i always get dupe and recently got Raphael but i will stay with my account . not gonna make new account 'cause its PVE not PVP . you just gonna make through by your on pace . trial and error on your team mono . even if anyone had A3 certain Aurorians and flex about it, just keep steady on your composition on your mono team . have fun play this game not judge anyone that have better Aurorians than you do . its your style on what you gonna do about it (bruh) . so anyway, good luck have fun everyone if you wanna pull your husbando/waifu . peace out ✌️

The game is really good and the animation is really amazing.
On early game the battle aren't that hard as its just the same time over and over again
But after a certain stage the tile will start to change as well the enemy
The enemy is not that hard to deal with but until like stage 5 you will start to struggle a little
The colossus is important in the game as there extra prism regen, quest dispatch and all

The gacha rate is honestly good enough but there not really a pity system here tbh since its too far away
But the rate is just enough for you to get a 6* in in some multi pull
The currency for gacha is lumamber which can be used for refreshing prism.
I did some calculations
On daily basis for 1 month we will get like 9 star flare and 3300 lumamber. Including the secret territory monthly login and daily quest
So that should be enough for 20 pull per month.
Idk im lazy so it should be around that

In this game is surprisingly great with the characters abilities even for 3 star
I mean there no real big gap between them so far
The gap between 6 star to 4 star is no huge gap
They all have their own advantages
Support was really useful in this game
At least for most stage
But well i start seen a lot of player start to use full dps team but mostly on boss stages
Some 6* what i can say not that better from some 4* so yeah

Well the grinding on this game is fairly good ig
With the colossus extra regen which is a really helpful thing
The workshop also one important thing since it can craft for your ascension material
Until A2 you will not really see any struggle but for A3 you will start to farm for some days for it
I suggest to just Let them stay on level 1 A3 since there nk really use of it anyway for now
And A3 the dps on your team

The game is pretty much f2p friendly so far. You not really need to get breakthrough to get a strong team. But you know a game always have those monthly stuff

So! Alchemy Stars... I will point it out.
This game has a lot of waifus and husbandos. There are human looking ones and animal looking ones if those are your type. All of them are drawn quite well and worth checking out. My problem with it are the voices. Some characters just doesn't have this feel of the voice fitting the art. I can't explain it that well but I guess the VAs for this game are quite new on doing VA work. It's not game breaking or bad but it can be improved.
Alright! Gameplay... This game is like Final Fantasy Tactics merged with some casual mobile game where you match tile colors! A puzzle like game! But with.... wait for it....
WAIFUS! You've guessed that right! What is a mobile game without anime waifus anyway? Everything revolves to anime waifus now! The future is now!
But enough kidding around, while the gameplay elements are quite easy to navigate to, assembling a team for stages makes up for it. It makes the game have more depth. Makes you think for possible combos or speed runs you might be planning on the stage and to be honest I really enjoyed the gameplay despite being turned off by it at first. All of a sudden I have spent a lot of time on it.
This is a gacha game. Of course you can choose whether to spend or not but at least the game gives you a free 6 stars if you will keep on playing.
Did I managed to get a 6 star on other banner? I think I did! Or was it just 5 star? That Uriel really was quite elusive if you ask me.
Do I mind if there's no guarantee counter or not? Nahhhh... For me gacha is fun. Despite winning or losing.
Story? It's quite interesting. Dialog has humor on it on some parts and sometimes there sad parts as well.. And Just as I have pointed out, needs improvement on some VAs.... but maybe it's just me. 4/5

Gameplay is line puzzle, ref from Pocoron Dungeon and other games. Basiclly each turn you move a line with 1 of 4 colors.
Story is slow, and a chore to read. Lost memory, sole survivor, etc,...
Gatcha is bad. 300 unit for a pull, 2%, shard (duplicate) system. I am in the honey moon phase and already the rate is bad ( around 50 pull with 1 max rarity unit, and the game have alot of them already).
Overall. I think it so so. Compare to others new release game, and this release in 2021, the game is way below stardard (30 fps locked in 2021, hello?)

The game is really good ngl
The battle system work wonderfully as a match between idle rpg 5 team star while still need some strategy since we need to drag where to move and what element to use their skill on and not just leveling them up.
The music is fantastic, definally remind me of some of the bms of fighter song.
The artstyle is quite good , with all character having their own live 2d , which is nice.
The gacha is not that bad , the rate is fair and the game do reward player regularly.
The story seem kinda generic , which make me kinda skip all the main story and just focus on the character specific arc instead which is still generic.
Overall this is quite good , a 👍 from me
Edit : I forgot the multipllier system, basically you can multiply for 15 time max based on how many block you drag through
Each block will give you 0.1x increase in dmg
At max block you can trigger Aurora mode, which is like a bonus round for you and doesn't affect the round counter
After 15 block, you can still continue it, the multiplier just stop increasing at that point
And no, you can't do aurora time on top of aurora time
Edit 2: The game get stale pretty quick so i recommend you to stop playing after completing the 8 days growth quest then comeback

CLOUD GARDENS: 3/5. Rarely played it. VERY LAGGY. Fun thing is u can interact with ur husbando/waifu in 3d chibi🥹🥹 U get xtra lumambers by completing missions there
IN-GAME CURRENCY: EZ to get, needs alot of stamina o do it lol. Very generous with rewards. Alot of ways to get'em. Spire (4 diff elements), CC, Secret Territory... U can get coins, gacha currency & upgrade mats

i've been wanted to play this game since they announce english release but was unable to since my old device can't run this game. I started playing after i saw announcement about 1st anniv so i missed a year worth content. This is my review after a week playing.
The illustration are beautiful, they picked good artists. Although i got new and way better device to play games but somehow its always laggy when i use live2D in homescreen, and the animation arent that great compared to other games where they can even move limbs and do complex movement with live2D.
Musics are really good, i really love the piano since its also related to the plot.
Story is cliche, in a good way. Its a fantasy world where "boy meets girl" going on adventure around the world on a flying ship while making friends along the way, it's a plot that already used in numerous video games and other medias yet it still gives me excitement. i really love this kind of story, if it's not because i need to grind for level to clear stages i would already binge reading it all in a day lol.
Gameplay is amazing, i love this kind of strategy based games. it feels good when i manage to pull out highest possible combo in a turn xD. Also the auto feature have pretty decent AI, too bad they spam skills as soon as possible lol.
my only complaint is the GUI, its awful to be honest. I often misstap in many places and its kinda annoying.
-Worth trying?
Short answer: To be simple, it's a bird's eye view perspective of 3d anime chibi on a swipe tile match up game that has turn based combat mechanics added along with turn countdown and a feeling of a random tile generator. It only has auto for farming. I think all units have a base live 2d art and higher rarity has an additional one live2d art after max limit breaking them.
A player can possibly reach chapter 10 (where I'm currently at) with just the free starter units. If you like the description then you should try it.
Long answer:
-First: The Gacha, is it good?
For me, I think I'm kinda unlucky. But I think I only have bad rng since the rate is kinda similar to Arknights. If you don't know what it is then we need to pull for 50 to start the pity.
The rate of getting a 6* will keep increasing until you are guaranteed to get one random 6*. Which is probably 80 pulls. If we fail to obtain the main rate up unit then we'll need to get 2 random 6* before we are guaranteed to get the rate up.
There are 2 banners, which is: new rate up and regular rotating banner. Those 2 banner have separate pity count.
There's also 1 unit per color that are suppose to be very strong that can be obtainable for free after doing their specific quest which will take awhile to finish.
-Second: Is it grindy?
I don't main the game but like I said, there's only auto for farming which can take awhile, you can only unlock auto after 3 starring a stage. And I'm not sure if it's possible to lose due to the random tile generator. So far I haven't lost an auto yet.
-Third: The gameplay.
In addition to what I stated in short answer, we deploy a squad of 5 units and the first unit you put will be the leader that will show as the squad anime chibi, you can switch leader up to 3 times. Each one has a basic attack (They will of course only attack when in range), active skill, chain combo (It will activate if you match up the said amount of tiles) and equipment. Don't worry, the equipment is fixed. We just need to level it up.
You match the tile color and if you match up to 15 in 1 go then you'll activate this Aurora mode where you can do an extra turn immediately, I don't think we can do it twice in a row though.
It has the typical unit color strength and weakness like yellow is strong against blue. Blue is weak against yellow. That kind of thing.
In addition, only those units with the same tile color you match up will attack and do chain combos. This is why we have leader switching. Because no matter what color you match up, the leader will always attack and do chain combos. The active skill can always be used after cooldown.
Also the tiles that the game generate feels random which can make your playthroughs easier or harder.
For now I guess the only thing that might be bad for me is the "Breakthrough". It's a way to improve a unit's stat and skill. You'd need dupes for higher rarities. Some Breakthrough is kinda good, just by making an active skill to be able to use on the first round makes stages feel easier and making some units need those Breakthrough.
And again, the tile generation might make you lose on some stages. It also might not be possible to redo what you did on a stage because of it. And there's no skip on grinding. There's auto but I'm not sure if it will always let you win.
Rare not boob-centred characters.
The character illustrations are awesome but this game is graphic intensive. UI and animation can be heavy making device slow.. but the illustrations are amazing!!
Only drawback is there are characters other than females so it hurts the gacha system. No point in spending to draw for this one if you try to collect girls only. go play AZ for that. (Mah personal opinion)
To complete the story you'll need those weird characters abillities, which is the opposite of what I do (by force), and now Im slowly getting stuck 🤪 but it doesnt matter.
____Login, finish dailys, do secret territory, complete daily dispatch missions and side event missions to get free lunamember(exchange coin-whatever its called). Then exhange for gacha coins, around 4000 for 10 gacha coins.
Any of the two coin types and then draw when reqruit rotation of your liking comes. Chance of getting the reqruitable 6/5⭐ or random 5⭐ is I'd say 30_35% less (usually more than 5 draws then its luck). So stacking is a great option for f2p player. Hint on draw, the colour of lever pulls indicate there's 5⭐ above or none. Gold 5⭐ above, purple 4⭐ and below ____
Got Angel and Uriah at very start of game so else doesn't matter. They're both kyawa!!!
