I had played so many gacha games, and this game really refreshing. Not like any other gacha games comes out in early 2021 (English ver.) which is all the same, Nothing new , same gameplay, same mechanism, Just a different gacha rate and IP.
The gameplay is great combining City building and RPG. The Character and Building design are very Beautiful and cute at the same time.
The story also good ( have a skip button IYKWIM ), Music good , VA good.
The new update had added guild and guild boss which is very good. You can make a Guild with your friends and get strong together like i do.
This game also have a Pvp Content ( Arena ), Mostly p2w like another games of course. But you can still reach high enough tier as a f2p just enjoy the game.
Overall the game is good, Worth to play, worth to spend ( the Monthly pass is cheap tho )
great game even though its laggy as hell but PLEASE stop making every single update so big whenever theres an update its like 2gbs. but i also want to add here that its so f2p like whatever you do it gives you enough diamonds (or whatever theyre called) for atleast 1 pull
edit number two: i installed the new update but the game literally wont open im decreasing the score my phone aint even that bad this game is heavier than genshin goodbye
edit 3: THIS ISNT FUNNY ANYMORE i dont remember if i linked my acc to googleplay or email i hope i did but the game wont open and i am So Stressed i have 4 madeleines all the cookies i ever wanted i scream hard when i got licorice please i dont want to go back to genshin give me my accpunt back. plea
edit 4: heyy i got my account back like two weeks after i posted this, i mean obviously its been months. thank god i wouldve cried so hard wow todays date is the exact opposite of when i posted the og review
size about 1-2gb (if you often update without uninstalling it again maybe it's more than that)
often lags & crash because your phone/device must be 34bit atleast,
the storyline it's pretty neat,
the characters are cute,
luck on gacha? mine was sucks, but crystal for gacha to get new cookies are easy to obtain,
it's pretty hard to get rainbow cube unless you buy from milleage thingy (it's pretty expensive if i must say)
what does rainbow cube does?
yes, the same as cookie run : ovenbreak, it was for costume,
the gameplay are easy, you could just level up the cookie
and use auto play lol,
but, star jellies.
it's easy to obtain but if you alrd in high level 1k it doesn't do much, even for +1 more level,
you could use magic powder & cookies toppings,
magic powder could obtained from daily bounty,
i forgot which day but there's a chance you get many mgc powder in that day,
the voice are amazing, except...
if i could say i didn't really like the sound of moon rabbit cookie on english lol, but it was just my opinion.
so, yea, i rarely play so i have tons of stamina jellies, it's about 1.5k lol, not really much but it's usefull to send balloon expidition to get more cookie toppings
gosh, i think i'm writing a whole essay,
okay, that's all i guess, you could check my profile to play crk without downloading the game, but you'll need the luck, sometime i takedown the tuts lol
It's a fun game.
I don't crash, but why is the update bigger than my mom?? (I remember stacking it up to 12gb then I had to delete it.)
The gacha is alright, I guess.
The bundles are really tempting but eh, you can just pray for rewards after maintenance stuff.
I'm crappy at organizing, but the building feature is good. (devsisters please shave the damn grass)
I'm a huge fan of espresso and the va.
(Oh man.. the va also voiced Chesed...)
But that doesn't mean I dislike everyone else.
I think the VAs did pretty good.
I honestly think that PVP can be pretty great if you managed to pull enough braincells out of your ass (I haven't been able to 🥲) and make great teams.
The story is.. interesting...
Overall, it's pretty good.
The cookies are cute and pretty.
EDIT: Okay, maybe getting up everyday to do the same things becomes a chore sometimes..
Edit: my mom's definitely 12 gb
I would honestly give it like so many stars. if it weren't for the recent update problem which cause a lot of hectic to the CRK users using QooApp. Was a bit dissatisfied in a way that it did made me go through 5 stages of grief if you know what I mean.
In any case, the game is still something I want to play. would be ashamed not to really. But yeah, you need to work on your re-downloading/updating thing because sometimes it does make some users be heartbreak over a game. Just saying.
If you are a SamSung User/not a samsung read this... :
Go to your galaxy store/google (search for galaxy store apk), and then try searching CRK there. Uninstall, then install it in the via app. But I do have to remind you that you need to make an account there first. So yeah, your choice. Well, have a great day now.
Just straight to the point, without wasting time on words to describe the imbecile things, this is legitimately a free to play, reasonable game
The sole aspect that must be highlighted here is the prizes are rewarded based on percentages. Thus, the prize pool for the first place is labelled as 1% and this indicates that even if you aren't in the first place, as long as you could reach the top 1%, you will be rewarded the same prize as the first place's prize too.
In the pvp section, unless you're trying to climb the leaderboard for fame, or else there is no reason for you to feel like paying money to reach ultimately high ranks. The prizes are rewarded on the top 1%, 10%, 50%, etc for the highest ranking and the prizes are just slightly different from one to one, there's just no vast difference on prizes that will make you feel unfair on the prizes given
Another point that this game offers a lot of free gems, and technically, having free gems is better than having free ultimately overpowered arsenal. If a game offers free ultimately overpowered craps for everyone, it would be horrible as everyone owns it too, it won't be unique, but instead of being common.
I'm not interested in commenting the game designs but I like the decorations for kingdom so that's it
this game is really fun!!
you don't really have to worry about not having enough diamonds and stuff.
the characters are cute and cool!
the storyline is interesting!
Oh! and this game is really nice !!
well, i remember i liked espresso cookie so much and i really wanted him.
BUT INSTEAD OF HIM GUESS WHO I GOT.
PURE VANILLA COOKIE!! LMAOO
back then i was new so i don't really care abt pure vanilla cookie, so i was kinda dissapointed getting him. ( i already have espresso cookie now btw! i decided to just get his soulstones)
my luck back then was pretty good if i have to say so myself, since my luck now is not that good
ah and the game for me is actually pretty laggy! maybe it's just because my phone.
but because of the lag it really annoys me and i can't decorate my kingdom because of how annoying the lag is.
but after all this game is fun, cute, and good!! i would love to play this game without lagging when i buy a new phone
story is good just not really a game that needs much plot imo (im pretty into the cookie run franchise though so i still read it lol)
good gacha rates and VERY easy to get gems for the gacha especially early game (got like 5 epics my first day playing)
cute characters with personality and queer rep (some cookies give me gender envy)
the prices in the gem shop are really high considering how easy it is to get gems BUT they do event deals all the time like theres literally constant deals so it doesnt really effect the value
so yeah fun game idk maybe im biased cus i like cookie run and theres literally no lgbt rep in other games (ESPECIALLY TRANS REP) but yk
Hello again, Seiyuu Otaku here!
I've been playing this game for a long while now, and only decided to give a full-length review/gushing here, so sit tight:
This was actually the first gacha game that I have played the longest, and have not un-installed after the first week, so that's already good in my books. I've also realised that it's a game that many others have said to be very generous with their rewards, and they're right. Cookie Run Kingdom is by far the one game I know that won't be too steep a challenge to grind materials for- okay, saving up coins to level up the castle is taking me too long, but I guess that's only fair.
STORY - The story is simple and cutesy in the way that they really put their writers to work to keep things related to cookies/bread/pastries.
CHARACTERS - Absolutely adorable, all of them- even the erm, older ones,, As I am a self-proclaimed Seiyuu Otaku, the moment it was announced that there will be a Japanese voice dub available for the game, I immediately downloaded the update! I instantly fell in love with the game even more- - there are a lot of veteran voice actors in the lineup, so given this knowledge, I am crossing my fingers and hoping that new cookies will be voiced by them (OnoD! NamiD! Yuuma-san! Ucchi! Hosoyan! Hanaechi!!)
GAMEPLAY - I think I've already mentioned it that the gameplay is simple, and easy to understand, and get the hang of. You'll just have to make sure you level up your Cookies from time to time so you can beat more teams in the Arena-
Honestly, World Exploration, Tower of Darkness, and Battle Arena are sure-fire ways to grind for rewards. (There are guides online so you can figure out which levels you can mine Soul Stones/Toppings from.)
DIFFICULTY - Okay, I'm only saying this because I'm in the Pure Vanilla server, so idk how folks over at the Hollyberry server are doing, but sometimes I don't even do Arena when I log-in because the teams available are like 200,000 ATK points higher than my level, so instead of trying, and risk losing more trophies than I was hoping to earn, I just end up re-decorating my kingdom instead. That's why you gotta grind for those materials and gems and coins so you can do aome gacha pulls, and even if they're duplicates, it's fine because the Mileage points are worth it.
F2P? - I've heard some players say this (and OvenBreak) are 'pay-to-win' and while I'm mostly free-to-play, I can't say that I am denying that claim. I have never bought any of the game/level up packages outside of the daily free rewards, and the occasional Kingdom Pass- - actually, I've a checklist to share as an F2P player: 1) buy the Kingdom Pass if the Landmark is for producing something I'm sure will benefit me a lot, e.g. Star Jellies, Topping (things), the Architectural thingies, and Soul stones. (Some of the materials I mentioned have landmarks available in the Build section!) And 2) buy the Kingdom Pass only if you've already unlocked at least 25 levels(?) of the reward, and that the Pass is closing soon, like a couple days before it closes so you can be assured that the rewards will be worth it, and you don't have to work double time- and just do as you normally do. Anyway, that's just how I do things, you don't have to do it, too.
BUMMER - Guild Alliance (?) takes too long, and you can't even exit out of the game screen to do other things, like, it can't just go on in the background, smh. I hope future updates will fix that. Also, collecting Rainbow Cubes for the Costumes really suck- and no, I'm not saying this bc I'm bitter over my bad luck at my pulls, and for still not getting Madeleine's skin yet.
OVERALL - A nice game if you want a change of pace. Decorating your kingdom is both a delight and a chore, especially if you're a perfectionist like me, but that's not stopping me from just about putting down whatever I want.
TL;DR - Fantastic game, fun gameplay modes, generous rewards. And seiyuu. Lots of amazing seiyuu.
I originally played crk 2 months prior to it's release and I've got lots to say.
It was a fun game at first, but now its just a pass-time for me to fumble with when im bored, not that there's anything wrong with that. It's just the game overall is quite.. boring.
CRK is a great game with amazing graphics and a great storyline- the gameplay however lacks compared to other aspects of the game. I had to uninstall it multiple times since there was nothing to do other than sit there, press the auto button and watch biscuit go pow wham pow to some cake hounds. It's really just saving up diamonds for a 10-pull, it's very grindy.
The art is *chefs kiss* super cute and pleasing to the eye, the plot is interesting, the gacha is quite generous and devsisters are nice with rewards, it's just the gameplay thats uncanny (for me at least). The events are okay, but usually I just get bored of them, the events that i did enjoy were the sonic collaboration and the one prior to the cake tower addition.
It's also very buggy and laggy.. it might be my phone but I don't really think its that, also the building/decorating mode is nice, however it does not give you alot of creative freedom since you can only put the decor in 2 directions and they always take up so much space and get in the way of other decorations so its quite minimal what you can do to decorate.
So in conclusion- great art, storyline, generous rewards and gacha system, mundane gameplay that you will get bored fast and easily of. I recommend CRK if for gambling addicts and people who just want a neat little game with some eye candy art. ・ิ≖ ω ≖・ิ✧
