Okay everyone, Im informing all and any of you saying that it wont open, loads so long, etc. Im reminding you that this is just the pre-download of the game.
Meaning we have to wait days to get the official or global release.
Please be patient, The game will surely come out any sooner i know it.
So when its officially released, Then you can firstly enjoy and play the game as you installed it early.
VPN Recommendations: For free VPNs, try VPN Japan, Open VPN (for Android) or Solo VPN. If you got some money to spare then go for the main VPNs like Express VPN. For a fast but has like limited tries and time a day for free users, try Fly VPN, for at least the data download at the start.
Now, on to the actual game review.
Graphics: The art and illustrations are amazing but the 3D models are kinda meh. Like, some are good and some are bad, which is kinda disappointing for such a popular IP and a triple A game developer.
Sound: Not much variety of bgm. Kinda annoying after a while, especially when you're doing story quests.
Gameplay: For a gacha raising sims game, pretty good. Got some well-made mechanics, though I hate the limited tries on the daily quests but understandable since you'll just immediately max out your units if it there wasn't any.
Storyline: It's BNHA. For someone who doesn't know, it's your typical shounen anime or manga about superheroes in a High School setting. It's not the best shounen but it's still a good one.
Value: Overall, it's a pretty good gacha game. I've played multiple gacha raising sims before, and this is basically a typical standard type of gacha. The UI style for the Home Screen tho is so common in gacha games that it's kinda meh but still okay. The game is pretty typical but def would recommend for gacha players even if you don't know the IP source. Also, there's a reroll system so no more convoluted way of rerolling for the game. Just click the white button I think in the tutorial gacha.
I've been playing this game from the US since release. I use NordVPN because the game doesn't work without it. Most of these reviews do not tell the full experience of the game and are honestly a little confusing considering I have had a different experience than what they believe is true.
Gacha: The gacha in this game is super addicting and fun to play. The UR drops are generous and it's easy to gain free gems, there is one free roll everyday for any banner you may choose. I've managed to gather over 4,000 free gems from competing story mode, quests, and other stuff. So I'm always hype to roll! I have currently 7 UR characters and 10 UR cards and alot of SR characters. This game is very awesome with its first re-roll method as well.
Game Play: The game play can be a little slow after a while but I'ce had fun figuring out which characters can do great combos together or which cards are the best for certain situations. I've completed the entire story mode and I especially like the chat log quests. The gameplay is repetitive and very easy at times if you know how to utilize your characters wisely.
Upgrading Characters: The game is very generous in giving you items for level upgrades for your characters or cards. There is a tab where you can win these items everyday as long as you complete 3 quests each for Power Up Bars, Power Up Drinks and Coins. Very cool because you can also earn gems!
Sound: I've been having some trouble with the sound because it does sound scratchy sometimes. It's a shame because the graphics and unique voice lines make it worth it!
Im not gonna lie I bought 2,000 gems once and the roll did not come out in my favor after i rolled the 7 UR characters. I think I used up my luck? Haha, I'll try for Todoroki next time! Have fun playing, it's pretty cute!
So, the highly anticapated game has finally come out. Introducing... My Hero Academia: Ultra Impact! Some of you may be wondering if the game is worth it. Well, after a couple days of playing, the short answer is yes. The long answer is YEEEEEEESSS. But, in case you don't believe me, let's go a little farther in depth.
Graphics - Now, the games not the prettiest. It's no flagship console game. But, it's actually suprisingly good at what it does. The character models, while not super high-res, look nice, and are accurate. The place where the game really shines, however, are the animations for Plus Ultra's and Special Skills. The cutscenes for these are just beautiful.
Sound - I don't play any mobile games actively with sound on, but from the few times I've flipped it on, it sounds pretty nice.
Gameplay - The game plays exactly how you'd expect from screenshots and trailers; you go into battle, select skills, (maybe do a little minigame), then the turn runs. It's nice to do in the background, (maybe while you catch up on anime ) and if you want to you can sit down and focus for the harder content.
Storyline - I have to be honest: I can't read Japanese, so I have no idea what the dialogue says, but from what I actually see in cutscenes, I'd say the games story mode is a good refresher for people who've seen the anime or read the manga before, but isn't a good replacement for the anime.
Rates - The rates for the summons, from what I've seen, kinda vary. Now, you actually don't have a horrible chance of pulling a UR. My current account even has 5. The issue comes in when you're hunting a specific UR, because out of my 5, only 3 of them I came into my rerolls wanting. (I kept the account because, well, it's 5 UR's. Come on now!) You have roughly a 2% rate of a UR, but each general pool UR has a 0.187% drop rate (or something like that). So, if you just want any UR, you'll probably be happy. If you're planning to hunt for a Kirishima, though, maybe brace yourself for dissapointment.
Overall, I'd highly recommend the game to any fans of the My Hero franchise. And hey, it's not a siper large game in terms of storage space, so it can't hurt to try it for yourself!
This game belongs in the same category with Crash Fever and Tower of Saviors, with some aspects done right.
Graphics:
Heats up your phone when 3D models are present even in lowest settings
Character models are alright, bigger head (and arms on some characters)
Sound:
Audio mixing could be better, some sound effects are significantly louder than others
Gameplay:
-Replaying stages are kept to a minimum thanks to the sheer amount of skip tickets you get everyday (Only event stages require replaying)
-Character exp materials, Memory Card exp materials and Coin stages are limited to 3 clears per day but dosent use stamina
-Progression is a slow curve at start, but its a 3-lane highway after roughly a week
-The things that take the longest are awakening and limit break, one requires materials from normal stages (also sold in Coins shop for super cheap) and the other requires character shards from Big Success on errands and shard shop (where dupes are automatically converted to the shop's currency)
-Daily free 1x pull on a banner of your choice
-No normal gacha banner, only event banners
-Each banner features 2 characters and 2 memory cards
-2% for UR, which is split among the pool, 0.7% for the featured character/memory card (might be changed as UR pool increases)
-A pity exchange is 300 pulls, a 10x pull (one SR guaranteed i think) is 500 gems
-15k gems for a pity is very steep, feels like it only happens to the most unfortunate, or when you're missing one character/memory card from the banner
-6 minutes to refill 1 stamina
-Errands gives a lot of stamina ( 2, 4 ,8, 12 hour errands gives 10, 20, 40, 80 stamina along with other rewards)
-Optimised gameplay would be playing on 3 occasions per day, with 8 hour errands
Storyline:
It's BNHA's major arcs
Value:
I'm not sure, its a game where banners are direct counters to event stages like Crash Fever and Tower of Saviors. With a pity that steep, saving for collabs and banners that you really want to pull seems to be the better play
Still early to judge how good the game is, power creeping and gimmick counter are not present as of the time of this review. Hopefully it won't be that bad considering the time it takes to fully max out a character.
ME AND LOT PLAYERS CAN'T LOGIN INTO THE GAME IT KEEP SHOWING MESAGE PHONE SECURITY TO LOW after last update PLS FIX IT IAM DAY 1 PLAYER IN JP AND GLOBAL VER WHY TF YOU DIDN'T ANNOUNCED ABOUT IT AND SOLVED IT IT BEEN 3 DAYS NOW L QQAPP DEVICE TEAM 4GB USELESS IN MY PHONE AND THAT SHIT NOT FIRST TIME IT HAPPENED
the summoning cost is astronomically high in comparison to the drop rate for ur characters. and to buy gems is very expensive and only gets you 1 - 3 multi summons. the multi summon has a cool feature that the more you summon you collect points and use them in a special shop, however the amount of points needed in the shop are very high as well. game play so far has been fun, doesn't feel grindy follows the story and overall is pretty nice to just casually play ( until you need ur characters to progress) has some good potential to expand on future content as well. overall free to play will be playing for a while before they see progress.
update: energy costs are high and energy regen (currently at 3 minutes for 1 energy) makes the game unplayable. i understand that there needs to be some "restrictions" so players arent blowing through content but as it is right now you can only do a few quests before having to wait 8 hours+ to do more content. you can get more energy by doing the farm missions, however those take 8 hours (the shortest is 4 hours). and refilling energy costs GEMS, the already expensive currency is being used for something as basic as energy.
also something i have noticed but you are unable to dedicate an attack to a specific enemy. if you tap an enemy to focus all attacks go to it, there is no attacking 2 or 3 different enemies with different character skills or basic attacks. definitely something that needs to be looked into to improve gameplay. also not sure if order of skills is determined by the speed attribute but not being able to use a certain skill in the order i tapped it is very annoying.
To be honest, the game is overall very good. Gamplay-wise not too hard. Both SR and UR can play huge role in clearing a game.
The downside is that the game is kinda lag sometimes, so pulling a 3combo is difficult. Also, some features on the Hero is on the art but not on the model, whick is a bummer. Definitely recommend dev to work on giving the hero full costumes
