So, let me start by saying I actually really enjoyed my time playing Red: Pride of Eden. However, I can no longer support the game in good faith because the developers of this game are shamelessly plagiarizing animations from other games.
While many compare this game to Priconne (I also did this since many systems are similar), I initially passed it off as mere inspiration from Priconne's set up and if we're being honest, Priconne isn't the only game that utilizes thos type of set up. However, I am led to believe that this wasn't an attempt at inspiration, but merely a copy cat, not because it just bears similarity to Priconne, but because these devs have repeatedly stolen/traced animations from another RPG-type game: Epic Seven.
I play Epic Seven as well and one of the first similarities I noticed was the copied animation from Lidica's (E7) S2 on Isabella's special skill. Since it's a minor similarity, I didn't think too much of it. But after the release of the Orca idol, Lisa, it was clear her special skill was a complete trace/rip off of Seaside Bellona in E7. It doesn't stop there though. Their newest unit, Sherry, copies the spin and lunge animation of Ravi from E7. Alongside those, there have been 10+ additional copies located by myself and some members of the JP community.
Additional similarities in animations include: Sloth Girl (Red) = Silver Blade Aramintha (E7), Mei (Red) = Spectre Tenebria (E7), Ninja/Samurai girl (Red) = Charles (E7), Ravi (Red) = Luna (E7), There is an NPC enemy w/ a scythe that copies a portions of ML Kise's spin attack, and many more. Sara (Red) = Fallen Cecelia (E7) as well. Some pointed out that the Horse lancer (red) also = Cecelia (E7) and Noel (Red) = Tamarinne (E7), but these are a bit more of a stretch.
Smilegate, the developers of Epic Seven, have been notified of these similarities and are confirmed to be looking in to it, so I honestly don't know if Red will even last once confronted unless they agree to redo all the copied animations (which frankly is a very large portion of all the 3* units in the game.)
The JP community has been voicing constant concerns about this under tweets about the game, esp those showcasing copied animations. Its such a shame that a pretty nice alternative to Priconne turned into such a plagiarizing shitshow uvu. If you still want to play after this, I won't fault you for it, the game is pretty solid, but I just can't support developers that so shamelessly put plagiarized content into their game, especiallh when they are plagiarizing from such a well known title like E7.
Red : Pride of Eden aka Pricone w/Animal Girls
I've hit lvl 34, and unlocked all the features so I feel its time to write a review of a sort.
First and Foremost if you played Princess Connect Redive, this game takes heavy inspiration from it.
Red however, does have many of its own features to set itself apart, that being said, it has many similar features as Pricone.
Firstly the Graphics, in my opinion are Better than Pricone, from the way the sprites move to the overall artstyle in the final ranks of the girls. Not saying Pricones bad, I personally think Pricones looks perfect for its overall appeal. However Reds Live2D CGs for the final ranks are quite beautiful.
Sound, not much to say here, theres a decent number of well known VA which is nice, nowhere near the number of Pricone. Sound overall is fine, nothing amazing, but nothing that will make you dislike it for.
Value, Well I think Value, I think how fair is this game for F2P compared to P2P and W2P(whale2play).

i'll make it short. every thing is GOOD and DECENT. time from beginning to free 10 roll is around 2min.
-easy reroll, you can delete guess account in the login screen. the game also F2P friendly, you can get 2 free pull from weekly quest and grind char piece in certain stage.
the problem is on free gacha, the rate is A BIG LIE, i spend all my free crystal 15000 crystal = 10 times on 10 roll, not a single SSR and only got a single SR in each roll. i got my SSR only from free 10 roll and PAID GACHA.
another problem is the different status from SR to SSR char, its around 2x-5x times why the big gap ?? thats because a few broken SSR char that have a huge progession stats in each upgrade and increase star. how do i know ? i have a 4* star SR and have different of 4 times on my 4* SSR in the same level and upgrade. you can quest the rest and, what will happen if u fight with SSR full team in arena.
PVE, i dont really know maybe you can clear it with the starting free roll if u upgrade.

In short, they nailed the aesthetics as well as the gameplay, and I feel very comfortable in spending money on this game. Priden has totally won me over.
Priden is stunning, visually. The character designs are totally on-point, and while many are definitely erotic, I still find Priden's illustrations more tame than Azur Lane's, to an extent. The world and background designs are very bright and fit perfectly with the game's lighthearted theme; there isn't much doom and gloom to be found. Overall, it's very high-fantasy and I eat that shit up.
In general, the voice acting is great and nearly every scene is fully voiced, including several character-specific dialogues which can be listened to at any time from a menu. The music and sound effects add significantly to the fantasy theme and it leaves me feeling soothed whenever I open this game up. If there were a soundtrack with a compilation of the game's music, I would buy it.
There's always a grind in freemium mobile games, but Priden at least gives you QoL tools to significantly ease the pain. The feature I like the most is the one-tap battle completion. It saves hours of mindless grinding for character upgrade materials. You literally just press a button and get the mats for 1x or 10x stage clears instantly.
I found Priden extremely simple to understand all the basic concepts of gameplay. It follows traditional mobage style, but is also much more simplified than most traditional JRPGs.
I can't read any of the story, so I don't understand the plot. I can't give an effective review of the story because of that.
You can buy pretty much anything with gems, which can be purchased with real-world money, as usual. There is also a separation of paid and free (earned) gems, meaning some things can only be purchased with paid gems, in order to get you to spend money. There is no mistaking that this game is pay-to-win. With that being said, I feel comfortable playing the game at my own pace and spending money when and if I feel like it. The game being one of the top 20 grossing on Japanese Google Play Store currently gives me hope that this won't be a flash in the pan.
I have over 10k gems and am level 30 at the time of writing this review, and rolling the gacha once costs 1.5k gems. I haven't earned all the gems available from character stories, so this seems like a pretty agreeable amount of free gems, to me.
Something I dislike is the terrible balance of characters. SSR being extremely overpowered compared to SR, R, etc, is nothing new for me, but I feel that the current pool of SSR characters is unbalanced and just leads to whale-centric gameplay. The reason for this is that only a small pool of characters (roughly 10~20 out of the cast of 100 or so) are actually useful. What's the point of the other 80% of the characters? They definitely serve as eye candy, but I feel that it will have a negative impact on the game in the future depending on what kinds of characters they release. I don't expect them to nerf or buff characters any time soon, so this is something you'll have to live with when playing.
One thing I wanted to add is that Red: Pride of Eden does NOT feature the type of character you'd expect when you hear the word "furry," at least in American culture. It features your typical animal ears, tails, and sometimes paws. All the usual kemono features of many things in Japanese culture. If you were expecting actual furry characters, this game does not feature them.
Also, there are genderbent characters (once a male, transformed to female.) Just a warning.

But aside from that tutorial stops at 1-3 where you can do anything the free ssr banner has 3 char that are decent and getting free gems is easy auto play unlocks at around 2-5 sweep is further but at level 30 it lets you do 10 sweep and draw rates as far as i can tell every time i don't get an ssr the next pull i'll get one maybe it's just me but the way the duplicate one's you already have pleases me cause if it's an ssr you get enough shards to rank up to 4* like 3*+3* to four and the R characters are strong if you know what you're doing especially the cat girl April her attacks and ultimate crits alot
Edit: tutorial stops at 1-3 but as you level up they'll give a cutscene introducing a new mechanics but since most of us can't read jp and you can't skip it kinda makes you feel it's still in the tutorial zone

when you raise your character to rank 5 (i think thats what you called it?) it gets a live2d of it normal art and raise it to 9 you get a new illustration with background which is pretty nice

its a turn base game with priconne system where you can active their ulti when their gauge is full so other than that theres nothing i could say about it since theres still many things to research about it before i can judge it further

the rate for a SSR is 3% which is decent but its all personal experience for everyone so cant really say its good or bad
during your first time playing it'll give you free 10x for a specific banner where it'll guarantee you 1 of the 3 SSR which is nice when you first start

its a pretty nice game, full of cute kemonomimi waifu, since the game is still quite new so cant really pick on it too much since theres always a place to improve (quite alot of UI bug here and there but its not like this is new)
so kindly give this game a try and you'll maybe like it

for me as an Android user its pretty easy to do since it only needs you to download 6mb when your in the game first time so its very quick to do reroll
do the tutorial until 1-2, collect your newbie reward from mail, do the guarantee gacha
if your not happy with your result then just delete data on the app and repeat
edit: the game can be pretty boring as there's no skip option for some daily stages like dungeon and equipment stage, no animation skip as well
you can skip the tutorial similar to Arknights it is long though similar to arknights
having SSR omega stronger than the rest of the rank doesnt even matter cause at mid to late game you can farm SSR characters once you get 55 shards(so if rng drop is nice you can get SSR in like 11 days) you can summon them free there is also a skip option that require stamina no need for tickets
the only real problem here tbh is stamina if you want to go full free to play once you get decent starting characters(like maybe 1-2 SSR and the rest SR) stick to it and never roll again the only decent use of gems is ether stamina refill or limited banner units that you have no way of farming the shards to get the unit for free.
tbh just never roll you can get your SSR by farming shards like just dont unless you want to support the devs or want to whale and have super fast progress than the rest of the player but yeah if you play just farming the character shards(that map also gives the rank up material) and leave the game you'd be fine. maybe do arena cause the do give nice gems. this only works if you plan on playing this as a side game but there are other modes like guild or that dice thing in this game you can play but yeah if as a side game/casual farm shards and arena is the way to go.
though you might think thats kinda boring just doing 2-3 modes of the game if you want to optimise id this is a side game but if you think about it this is like 90% of the gameplay of a gacha game any devs that makes farming really easy like this game is a huge plus unlike say arknight where you have to stay for almost 1 hour in that 1 mode where the english translation was wrong. arknight needs skip option tbh
that thai guy didnt even try the game cause most of his complains doesnt even exist

I love the character design very cute and very sexy reminds me of a certain eroge. Story is fully voiced.
Battle has auto and double speed much appreciated.
There is no sweep tickets but you can sweep stages for free only using stamina and item drop rates are 100% so far.
Characters have rarity but every character can rank up to 7star using fragments which you can farm or get duplicates, you can also farm materials to limit break them to bronze, silver or gold which at certain points change their appearance.
I really like this game as much as I like Princess Connect. Give this a try if you like priconne too.
Nah, dont listen to the long ass review which mostly inaccurate, there is auto ultimate casting after a few story stage and also have sweep ticket clear for resource stage.
The only concern I had is about the game optimization which costing phone to heat up very fast, I am using honor 10. the game on every basic normal fps normal graphic its fine, but when you try to run in either high graphic or fps the problem came.

1: my first review is about tutorial is bit long not like other games when you clear first final chapter and then you already done tutorial in game but this game is bit different you need to open all required for example like after you lvup certain lv this game automatically go on mode tutorial to go there , do this , do that and etc..so far for me im not rush player so i think still can enjoy the game without rush when do tutorial but some player maybe will think this annoyingly when playing this game because everyone have different styles play right?
2: the next is about quest system ..this game no have sweep tickets when do farming quest many times you want only depend on stamina players ..
3: yeah finally most important for f2p players is about GACHA system..when you done tutorial this game give free 10x draw gacha depend on luck .. after that when you already login 7 days in this game you got free 30x draw gacha tickets .. don't be like me at first im not realize can save to 30 i already using it for 10x draw each time huhuhu damn im sad ..so total this games give for free players draw is 40 free draw ..if you want to get good luck just save more than 10x draw maybe 20/30 to get good card..10x draw is totally sadness depend on luck player But if don't like waiting to long its ok that your choice ..
4: even this game look so simple but this game animation battle is epic ..SSR when skill ultimate open they have anime effect animation style look so sexy and cute and fiere when they do skill ..SR and R have good animation too but not to superior like SSR style effect still can enjoy SR and R..
