One of my favorite rpgs my only real issue I have with it is finding time for it as even just the dalies for it take longer then some other games but on the few days I'm able to do every daily at least I enjoy it a lot.
After trying for some days, I can share honest opinion about this game.
1. This game is in english but they sometimes play korean chat to mess with us. It's like a secret chat to negate spoiler on story mode.
2. Graphics is good , game is turn based with speed as dominant attribute to get turn. Item has set bonus like MMO. Pretty standard with upgrade and so on.
3. No character gacha but u buy straight. It's super expensive. Some need other currency like real money or other in game currency.
4. At first it feel nice. but at some progress it feel heavy. Your unit will be severely underperformed and need to upgrade to prepare for next level.
Level up is slow. Exp potion is given a lot but it's still slow. Very slow. Awakening material also slow even for ur 3* unit at the beginning. The progress on ur team building is slow.
5. Awakening a character doesnt give much benefit. Your character will reset to lv 1, again level up is slow. Very slow... Your skill wont get much upgrade from awakening. You need skill upgrade material from a separate grind.
6. I abandoned this game because it's slow. Sorry guys..
Love this game.
I kept playing this game because I was amazed by Lord's character, the storyline is also interesting. The choice of placing the speech bubble in the middle makes me feel more comfortable reading the story. The font size is very suitable, and the length of the sentence per bubble is not too long.
The story is very interesting and I can feel the emotions of each character if I read each sentence carefully.
Another, each character has good visuals. very good to spoil the eyes. If you build some heroes well and correctly, they can be very helpful.
I've never been this interested in a game's story.
Usually they put the sentences below horizontally, sometimes the font is too small, and the sentences are too long, making me lazy to read it.
Story is one of the aspect getting hooked to this game
The graphic is good, Nanjo as voice actress? awesome, Sound quality ain't perfect but they are very good. The only thing i could complaint here is the value, Paid units are okay (Not friendly for pvp f2p but well there are many meta w/o paid units), but the bundle real money currency are kinda bad, you ought to purchase a lot in order to get decent amount of in game material.
-The gameplay is Turn based RPG
-You play here as a monarch of a rural region "Avillon" in the west to save world order against East empire "Gallus". 5/5 the story is awesome on par with E7
-Every single characters have unique traits, even there is this girl who always break the 4th walls even breaching into the game system (well, ofc it's just text and voice not an actual "DDLC Monica", sorry to get your hopes up lol) 5/5
-Sound system are very neat, with so many all star va (sugibro, nanjo, erichin, kayamom, you name it) and rising va like Akarin
-Graphic wise...the character models are incompetent sometimes (especially for astrid) compared to 2d splash art. But they are still acceptable
-The gamr itself aint too focused with waifu collecting, the male units are also strong as f
-Currency wise, it's bad. It's not aboud the paid units (well there is that too for some people, i know but as i said above, meta never cycle with paid units ) , but the in game resources you get after paying are just that few.
-The game is F2p friendly, but it is too slow with progress, by slow i mean REAL SLOW. You need to endure for 44 days to get 2 new units outside from story (well you can get 10 or more units within story which is a lot) and bought with In game currency or cash. The pve is hard, in case you ask.
-Luckily, we got a lot of Referral (redeemable) codes every weeks
My current no. 2 game. Very story driven. The battles are great classic turn-based, with elemental advantages near guaranteeing critical hits.
You can buy some characters outright, but MANY are given to the player as they progress.
I haven't really felt the need to spend money on anything, but have paid for a few items to make things more convenient. Definetly not p2w.
Some characters are given after checking in so many days in a row. 15 days for the first, generally 30 afterwards. I missed a day here and there and I paid a small crystal penalty and all was forgiven, no progress lost.
The story, while typical, is enjoyable. The characters all interact in their own way, fulfilling most of the typical rpg tropes. Although this may seem like it might be dull, I would advise caution in writing off a well thought out story.
My interest in this game has been consistently curious. Ive probably downloaded and deleted 12 - 20 other games in the two months I have been casually playing this title. It has never been my main, but I havent ever considered deleting it.
1. The game is very similar to Summoners Wars in regards to being a turn based game with speed determing turn order. It is not as broken as SW because there is not violent and swift set. In PvP, there is a rotation where certain units will get a speed buff so I guess that changes how you fight end game. Battle is much more fun compared to SW with the Burst mechanic. Graphic is top notch for me. UI is very clean too.
2. After the first week you will realise there is no real place to farm gold (you need a lot of this), and exp (you also need a lot of this) - like Faimon (in SW terms). What made this grind worse is that the energy system will only allow you to only run maybe 6~8 runs depending where you decide to grind. And due to the Burst system, the auto play will never be good. They need to add an instant replay feature once full cleared. At least they have auto repeat for now, you can gatcha for decent equipment set to help with the grind. It is a way to "push" you to resort to gatcha though, or use real money for decent gears. Otherwise, progression is just so retardedly slow.
3. Skill up is another long term grind. You need 25 stones for each character, but you can only get 6* of these a month by grinding dungeon milestone + daily login. You can purchase ($$) 1 per week, or more if you pay much much more. But the problem is actually gold for skill up. You will understand poverty.
-The game needs some real QOL improvements, something to help with the battle AI or instant clear feature. If the gold, exp, drops can be patched, then the grind would be easier too. I feel like it takes too much time to play the game at the moment. Overall, I'm looking forward to the global release very much. The game is the true SW successor for those who is a fan. Progression will be very very slow, but if you like the game it should still be a very enjoyable game.
So apparently if you already downloaded this game, it automatically counts for Google. I just checked the pre-register for global release and it just says "open" this is good for people who don't want to lose their progress. HOWEVER, I write this review in hopes that the developer sees it. please add Quality of life features! raid tickets or some kind of auto or idle function. the grind really takes down this otherwise beautiful game. please believe me that if you don't, this game will start to tank after a few weeks after it's global launch. even without the gacha, people won't stick around for a game that demands so much repetitiveness
the exact opposite of my experience with PGR: the gameplay is easy to bore one out while the story is molto al bacio, i miei complimenti allo chef. a volte, un'anima italiana mi possiede e non ho idea di come liberarmene, quindi, sfortunatamente, devi sopportarlo per un po'. anche se, non sono così sfortunato che sono nato italiano
I'm not very keen to collect characters so those behind paywall don't bother me that much. my favourite guy must be the reigning monarch because even though he's overall a pretty nice guy my GOD is he a bit of a douchebag. we have the option to change the motto so I can also make him a sleazebag ("Now is the time for a nap.") though now that I think of it, that kinda sounds conveniently menacing
(just in case some of you recently started playing this game, use my code LOH1184693333 for the UNICEF invite code thing!)
Might not be rpg, but the gameplay is suuperb n yes its a strategy game with lotsa simp- no i mean a bunch of heroes to be raise n build! there's also daily equipments gacha to help u boost ur heroes potential! the storyline is not something to be messed with either! xD tbh im not usually the one to rate the game i play which mean this game is that good. its true that sometimes u need to wait to get some heroes, but all of this worth it. and most of the in this game community is suuuuper nice! ask us anything u might be confuse with, and we'll try our best to answer ur questions give some tips~^^
trust me and play this game~! welcome to LoH n gudluck to all newcomers!
After a long time, ive decided to finally say my opinion on this game:
The graphics are beautiful and I'm happy for having character customization options, however due to having such high quality modules, the game can get very laggy and on personal experiences, has crashed multiple times.
The music/sfx are decent but get repetitive once you've gone through the story multiple times on each difficulty, however I'm letting this slide since its a mobile game.
The gameplay is one to be expected and is basic at-best. It has an auto-play feature which is good for grinding or if you're lazy (like me), however sometimes you have no choice but to play it because the game can't play itself.
Getting characters and levelling them up takes time and is a little tedious but rewarding once you get it done, for f2p players its a lot more difficult but p2w players can easily shove money into the game to get what they need for ascending/promoting characters. You do, however, get given characters monthly using contracts, which also gives you materials per day until you recruit the character and move onto the next, which I personally think is a good way to keep players coming back and help them through the game.
The storyline is fairly interesting but is hard to get through due to the enemies getting extremely strong after a certain point in the game. The characters are wonderful and the Lord is better than most player-characters because they actually have a personality.
The updates, however, have been game breaking recently. I've not been able to download them and when it finally DOES download, the game will refuse to open.
You need patience for this game and a lot of space, because it will chew up your storage in no time. Sorry for this being so long, if you read this far, thank you for putting up with my rambling.
