I thought this game will be a banger like good action fantasy game but this game basically just same auto MMORPG we used to play nothing new..*sigh* Ngl I think they should never work with korean dev, always end up like this type of game. I'm really disappointed tbh,my hype gone instanly
i believe there should be good storyline but dont expect too much from the combat system especailly if you use arrow/ gun
if you try to fall back and shoot fall back and shoot, nope sorry , you will shoot in the air. but in general, the combat system is just same as the classic online game but crappier
in order to further progress the storyline, the game kinda forces you to pay-to-win. i can understand that the developer needs to make money but the pay-to-win situation is just way too obvious. if you wanna keep the game alive, you really have to change before they lose the interests.
if you wanna progress it without paying, yes you can, but it requires a lot a lot of time.
overall, dispite the good graphic and music, this game is quite disappointing and i would rather replay Ni No Kuni on Switch instead.
Everything is fantastic EXCEPT this Red Flags:
1. The Enemy Targeting - The combat is pretty hard to do especially when your character aim and execute a skill on the wrong direction. Yes, we can use the Auto Battle System but we don't need the...
2. Auto Battle System as the main thing in combating monster. Yes, its sometimes convenience to do that especially while working but it shouldn't be always a enable option to do it. For example, we can maybe use it in ordinary fields or dungeons but not in an instance where we fight Boss.
3. Weapon Elemental Switching - Not a fan of it. I rather change that interface to skill slot switching than to implement that and just add a elemental gem or type or arrow that can the attributes of the attack.
4. Elemental Weapons - As I've said in No. 3, Elemental Weapon is big NO for me. Elemental gem or any enchantment materials is better alternative.

At first I thought this games use hack & slash battle gameplay. But I was wrong, this is just mobile MMORPG with auto attack battle gameplay like other mobile MMORPG.
But that is not all, this games graphics and characters animation are fantastic i like it. If you fan of Studio Ghibli animation you should try this games. Because this games animation was directed by Studio Ghibli.

Holy hell... The auto system just make me turn off... Well done for make this game a bit worst by that
But hey.. Aside of that the scenery is good it's probably better than genshin impact imo..
So if you like Ghibli animation why don't you grab this game even tho it have crappy auto system...
Just take it easy and enjoy the scenery..
Played to lvl 30. Thats when you will start getting messages such as your current power is 60k, content requires 70k. Unless you "buy in" powering up your character is SLOW by design.
Mazes and Timed challenges seem like a great source for upgrades but a free player gets 1 time free entry a day then you can buy 3/3 entry at 100 diamonds each.
The game is story heavy which is good but autoplay makes it a turnoff. I attempted the World Boss, the fight by design is good not tank and spank. The issue comes when you are animation locked which makes avoiding mechanics a nightmare.
Expect many shop promotions as there are lvl 10, 20, 30 checkpoints which prompts you to buy timed upgrades.
If you are willing to pay USD400 "buy in" you can get to 250k power easily but that will last you to lvl 50.
Then its summons and daily buys at USD 25 to grow your character.
Be willing to spend or just skip as did I.
TL;DR - Great Graphics. Terrible manual controls - auto battle makes this barely playable, but raid bosses would be painful (and not in the fun way).
At first, I really enjoyed this game. The Graphics are truly amazing... better than most games that even consoles has to offer. The gameplay... however, is terrible.
Many people disliked the Auto-battle. I actually enjoy it. In fact, if the auto-battle is absent, this game is unplayable. The controls are terrible but the battle (if you ever get into raid bosses) is very unforgiving and precise. The Recent event's boss basically tries it's best to show us just how awful the controls are and how precise your movements needs to be...
That even if the controls are good, it would require some skill... and since the controls are bad and you can't really dodge (due to the terrible controls), the only way to press forward is to spend money and pump your character sooo strong that you can tank any hits)
I think I will quit the game by the end of today, which is a shame though, I spent so much time on it and I'm already level 70 (for those of you who are new, level 70 takes quite some time and work)
If you are just curious and want to try it out, I'd say go for it, the graphics are some of the best stuff you'll see on mobile... Honestly, if they made a PC version of this (like Genshin did), it would be a very good game. But for some odd reason, they go with the mobile-only route.
Such a waste of potential. The game could have been new emerging star in the mmorpg world like GI. But the auto fighting and pathfinding bullshit literally make it another trash Lineage or BDM copy. The reason Genshin caught attention of people is because of it's freedom and minimal hand holding. It could still be enjoyable if i could completely turn off the whole auto nonsense in the settings. But as things stand this game will be another failed project.
Not sure why this is getting such a bad rap from some players. Its absolutely stunning, great voice acting and yes, it can be fully auto which I know some dont like, but it can also be turned off to play manually!
Being a whitey, do wish the global will come soon, but the Google Translate feature on Android phones make it easy to navigate menus and love being able to brush up on both Japanese and Trad Chinese!
Give it a go if you're a big Ghibli fan, because this game deserves a lot of love. Netmarble have done a great job.
Game is absolutely perfect outside the cosmetics having absurd requirements and some being outright locked behind the gacha system. That aside. I'm level 45 and currently residing in the top 5K for PVP. I have not encountered a single point in time that P2W has been needed. I have not spent a penny on this game. My only other issue is the downright awful drop rates for the books. I've been playing for about a week and all my grinding has been done in the temple looking area where monsters are separated by type. Not a single book has ever dropped from the enemies that drop them.
