Initial ratings (first impressions after playing during the release day): 4 out of 5 ☆ Initial Pros - Voiced lines and with sound effects - Great graphics and smooth UI - Auto and auto-repeat available - Available in multiple languages - Theo and Day ★ Initial Cons - 1.5% SSR rate, starting gems given to the players are barely enough to do a 10-pull which makes it harder to reroll - Seems stingy with premium currency ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• Edit#1: July 4, 2020 Updated ratings: 4 out of 5 Now, I've been playing the game consistently since the release and I'm currently sitting under rank 200 for the first event. Note: I am F2P, speaking from EN experience. •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• Note: I will be using A3! to compare the terms and the terms ONLY. I am not comparing them as a whole. I think that's what most are familiar with, so I used it to make others understand the game a bit better. These are my own thoughts, take it with a grain of salt. 1.) How's the gameplay? - It's nice, but nothing new or exciting. Think of a mix of Tales of Food and A3! but with dice. There's a Manual Battle option you can choose if you want to fight enemies yourself. - You use up SP (which is LP in A3! terms) when moving forward during a stage. Let's say that you have 185/185 SP: you enter a stage that costs 3SP to enter, which sounds nice, but you also use 3SP to move everytime. - "How is that bad?" It's NOT that bad, it's just something I don't vibe with. I lost track of how many SP I needed to finish the stage, so I ended up paying gems to refill it. - Once you run out of SP in the middle of the stage, you have three choices: quit the stage, reload using food/gems, or wait for it to load itself. - To be fair, you don't really lose much if you quit the stage halfway thru, but the thought bothers me lol. In comparison, similar gacha games usually use SP all at once so maybe I'm just not used to it. 2.) How's the event? - Scary! - On the bright side, earning points seem really easy. - As of the moment, there are two ways you can get the SSR event card. a.) Points reward: 3M points for the SSR card (1x) b.) Ranking reward: Rank 5000 and above can get you at least one (1) SSR. Of course, higher ranks means more copies! ••••••••• Just me.. rambling unnecessarily •••••••••••• 3 million points might seem a lot, but so far, I've gotten 2M points just from the first few hours of the event. Others might be thinking the same. But please remind yourself, especially as a F2P player: Getting that much points in just a few hours after the event opened should be easy.... for whales and newbie players. As newbies, we are given advantages we can use to quickly gather points. Things such us: leveling up to refill quicker or getting achievement gems. We all probably know this but the higher we level up, the harder it will be to quickly refill making it take longer to get more points. However, I don't think it matters much since our goal as F2P should NOT be "to get 3M points in a day", but to maximize our time, gems and manage our SP and EP well. Remember that! Especially as more people play the game, the harder it will be to rank higher. Play responsibly! •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• End of me oversharing.. I think. Hey, have I mentioned how much I love Theo and Day and No- Overall, I think it's fair. The top ranking points are scary to look at (10M+ points before 24 hours...). I hope the devs won't increase the points needed for the SSR card... (sobbing).

I AM CRYING SO MUCH THAT THEY ARE GOING TO SHUT DOWN- AFTERLIFE HAD BEEN SUCH A COMFORT TO ME AND I LOVE EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THE CHARACTERS. All of them deserve love and honestly I love the game . The graphics are very beautiful and the storyline is good . The interacts between characters are very interesting and the gameplay that is like a board game is very cute . It takes time to unlock stories of characters or the main story, but it's worth the time . The voice actors are GODLY AND I SIMP- I'm very sad that I wouldn't be able to hear Ghilley greet me anymore ... IWNSSINS IT HURTS SM- It has been a journey that I will never forget about , it had a special place in my heart .

I've played this game for a month now, I think this is the time I will drop my point of view for this game. this game is awesome. of course there are some things I frowned upon, but eh┐(´ー`)┌. This game is relaxing, I played this game when my other games sp are gone, the character are just to cute to be left alone, I love listening to their voice in the reaper profile. The gacha for me have been fine, although, their rates are probably very annoying. The events, gosh I love their events. If you want to voulantery spend all your gems for the events, you are guaranteed to get ssr card. The gameplay is just right for people who wants to rest their minds after playing other games. the stories are cute, mostly their personal stories. I always smiling to myself like crazy when rereading their personal stories. that's what I think about this game. thank you, lastly, stan everyone, for really yo. All of the characters are loveable, WHO CAN LEAVE EVEN ONE BEHIND!?[大哭]

So I've been playing this game for almost 2 months now and has been constantly in Top 500 rankings. So I'll give here my thoughts about the game: • Graphics & Characters The cards are beautiful specially when you limit break them. The boys here are really cute and handsome, so far i really like Noah and Ethan's personality. The voice actors are great too. • Gameplay It's a turn based board game but it's really casual since the enemies are very easy to defeat once you leveled up your teams enough. • Farming/Grinding It's not very easy to farm materials here for constellations and skill books, and its not easy to level up your cards. Gold depletes very fast too. Everything takes time here. • Gems income (the ingame currency) Let's see... In point events you can get 1.5k gems total, you can get more if you participate in the rankings and maxing the event SR. While drop events doesnt give gems it gives a SR card, maxing the SR cards will net you 300 gems. Completing Daily+Weekly mission will net you 640 gems per week. I guess overall you can do 2 multi pulls per month. • Gacha rates The gacha rates for the normal banner is 1.5% for the SSR. I recommend don't ever pull on this one. While event banner rates are 3% with the event cards on rate up. Only roll in event banners because of boosted +1.5% rates. Also the game doesn't have a guaranteed SR and above per 10 pull system so you might get an all R pulls and it really sucks, they do have a mileage system tho, after doing 50 pulls you can exchange it for a random SSR ticket. Final opinion: It's a great game to pass time on. I recommend trying it out if you like cute husbando's and kinda dark backstories!

I didn't know what to expect when I downloaded the game. All I knew was that it had cute anime boys and seeing the number of them, I assumed it's gonna be gacha hell all over again. I wasn't wrong, but I was also pleasantly surprised at how well-written the characters are and how interesting the story is. Graphics: The sprites are really beautiful and the character designs are amazing, my favorite designs being of Quincy and Nine (They just look perfect in everything, like how???). One minor issue I have is that the sprites are constantly in just one pose, which is very boring, but other than that the game is very pretty. Also the chibis own my soul, they're absolutely adorable. Sound: The sound effects are okay, the music is forgettable. I accidentally thought the game was Japanese because of the anime aesthetic, so I thought the Japanese voice acting was the original and that's the one I listened to. The voice acting was... mediocre. There weren't any particularly stellar personalities, but I can say that I didn't like some of the voices, June and Kati being the worst offenders. Might rank it up more once I listen to the Korean voices. Gameplay: It's simple, and that's just the way I like it. You get cards in the gacha, you train them using several procedures, you let them beat up some spirits. Simple, fun, the gacha is fair and you can save on gems by doing 10 pulls at a time, and you can earn a free random SSR after 50 pulls overall. The events are also friendly to newer players, allowing you to earn the same amount of event points by doing the lower stages of the event, meaning you can get the rewards and possibly rank even if your cards are still weak. Storyline: Absolutely lovely. I love the characters, I love the concept, the world building is great, I may have cried a little too much in chapters 4 and 5, the personal stories build on the characters really well, and reading the stories is just as fun as the rest of the game, if not moreso depending on the story. my personal favorite is the personal story Cotton Candy Demon, the story for one of Quincy's SSR cards. The dialogue is hilarious and was a lot of fun to read through, and it even showed a softer side to the character that you rarely see. Anyway, great game, praise our demon lord Quincy, go play it and join me in gacha hell as I try to get Aitachi's new SSR with the little dragon and it's very cute and-

Nice casual game with some decent art. Gacha rate seems abyssmal (or at least my luck has been, this is the only gacha I've never pulled an ssr/max rarity unit in. Idk if there's a pity, but if there is I've never hit it). A bit stingy with gacha currency, they don't give you enough for a ten roll when you start. Instead they shower you with low rarity cards and 1 SR card. Gameplay is super casual and mostly auto, nothing bad to say about it. There's daily missions that only work when I change the date on my phone to match Korea, this isn't ideal for me since I use my phone for a bunch of other stuff and it's a pain to change it only for this game. Also the mc irks me more than usual. Her "character" is incredibly generic and adds nothing to the story and sometimes just makes me want to skip it, I feel like if she didn't exist or said nothing the game would overall feel the same. I don't really recommend this game unless you really like the characters. (forgive me Day) Edit: Added some more stuff

Now, the game seems quite nice! I love the art and the theme a lot. The characters, wall, I don't have one that I hate! However.. They assume you're a girl. And I think that's not okay. You don't have the choice to choose your gender, and while I understand that alive story might develop or something, it just doesn't make sense. I personally am a girl, but even I would've played as a boy instead. I believe it's an easy fix to just add male addressings to the game. If that happens I'd be perfectly happy and 5 stars would be guaranteed too (probably, am still new but I'll probably stay new because this annoys me to no end)

This game has brought me so much joy over the year that I played it. The characters are memorable and lovable and make you keep on playing the game. The gameplay was pleasant and easygoing, after you beat the level you could put it on auto-battle which helped grind for items needed in regards to other stuff. The music was nice and the introduction page changed depending on who your main boy was (they would say the name of the game, company, a welcome-...) which I thought was great, I got used to hearing louis introducing the game for me every morning as my routine 🤧 Theres also an sns account in the game you as a manager have, where you can see posts from the characters! Depending on how you manage the cards, youll get rewarded by backstories of the cards and the account posts which are funny and I really enjoyed reading! The cards are gorgeous or some meme-able. The only problem I had with the game was that getting good cards was hard, the gatcha rates were low and I could pull 5x a 10scout and get at the most one ssr... and grinding for gems wasn't the easiest either, so it hurt twice as much to scout and not get anything. still... even with that I got a few good cards and I kept playing for the characters, who are so worth every minute. Thank you After Life and I hope we meet again ☺️

Honestly, its nice graphics and background and voice actors their lines are fully voiced. However what is annoying is that they start you off with a bunch of crappy Normal cards and a R card and give you a SR and thats it. You have to majorly grind for the rest of the gems, and this game just started. Its annoying as hell. What are we supposed to do with these crappy cards and no real gacha experience. They even give you rares throughout the week as you login but lol i dont see who would even care to log in for those, sorry. The story seems nice but my korean is still beginner, i think its really cute though. There is a lot of competition, and i dont think this game could hold my attention without improving, so, yeah..
